On lobby money I have taken my share,
Keating 5 was my first foray there,
Then when outted I changed my stance,
Now I stand firmly against campaign finance.

Next on votes I may stand here or there,
I have a record of voting with Democrats cares,

On the Bush Tax Cuts I was against them for years,
Only 2 republicans voted against them to be clear,
But now I need votes and I see the error of my ways,
I am for the Tax Cuts as long as it pays.

On immigration I stood firmly with the left,
Free pass to immigration for tax paying illegals seemed to me best,
But now that Republican votes are my aim,
I can see more clearly the politics of border control game.
It may not appear that I have changed my position to support the wall,
As long as a vote never occurs for my senate immigration proposal.

I will tell you, but you too closed minded. Mc Cain is nothing more than a POW that gave up military information ( he was court-martialed after being released), he cheated on his wife and left her with three children, he was part of the Keating 5 that stole money from seniors, he is for insurance companies paying for VIagra for men and refusing to cover birth control for women, his memory is not what it used to be, he has repeatedly said that the "troops will come back with honor". Hello, Mc Fly, they have been coming back with honor, to the tune that many towns here in So Cal have flags on their main streets with the servicemembers name, rank and branch of military. he has made many gaffes, and has a very quick temper. It seems to me that he is stuck in the 60's. He still reminds of that guy down the street with the oxford shoes, white socks, khaki shorts with suspenders, white tank top T-shirt, watering his lawn. With that said and with me being the king of the fake world I now dub him Sir Mc Getoffmylawn!

H???lllea??? He wrote that speech on race would you call that not being able to speak his own words? The great academics of our day and even those on the right said that speech will be taught in history, and sociology classes etc for generations to come even CEOs are instituting Obama???s organizational style as part of their management systems... had enough yet?

By the way, Chuck Hagel will absolutely not help the Obama ticket one bit!! Hagel wants into the White House so badly he will abandon every word he spoke while campaigning for his Senate seat and spit in the face of all the voters that believed him. He has proven that he is nothing but a snake in the grass. He has no core values. He is just one of those circumstancial situation guys like Obama who base their stand on issues in such a way that it will benefit themselves.

This will have little impact on the Obama, but the real issue lies within the Black community were the fight belongs. More effort in responsibility and less on Goverment. This started back with the million man march. Obama was tageted along with Cosby and others who say like myself more resposibility.

Obama is a wonderful father and husband. The more Americans know this, the more they will like him.

Know why McCain wants to distance himself from former Senator Phil Gramm? It is not just because of Gramm's recent obnoxious remarks calling Americans "a nation of whiners" and that unemployed Americans are in "a mental recession." In fact, those remarks were so obnoxious that I wonder if they were engineered just to provide McCain an excuse for publicly distancing himself from Gramm. This issue is a lot deeper than it looks on the surface.

When Gramm was a Senator he was chair of the Committee on Banking, and in that capacity he was able to push through the legislation now known as the "Enron Loophole." This loophole allowed US investment banks to bypass the Federal regulations governing futures trading, and is the reason why the investment banks were able to falsely inflate the prices of oil, wheat, corn and other commodities through massive futures trading, causing your costs of gas, heating oil and food to go through the roof.

Gramm was a member of McCain's campaign team, but now Gramms' name is turning to mud. In addition to the Enron loophole, Gramm pushed through the Gramm-Leach-Biley Act in 1999, which got rid of the laws that seperate banking, insurance and brokerage activities in America. Essentially, this Act did away with all of the good laws written after the Great Depression to protect us from another Wall Street/Banking Industry collapse. That's right, Gramm stripped the system of it's safe guards nine years ago, and guess what? The value of the dollar has nose-dived, Wall Street is highly unstable, and we are in the midst of a recession.

Now you could say that this is not Gramm's fault, that he didn't know what the outcome of his actions would be. However, it turns out that the same investment banks that benefited from the Enron loophole and from the Gramm Act gave more than a million dollars to Gramm's campaign. Uh oh. A Congressional hearing is going to be convened to investigate this. And McCain wants to have noting to do with Gramm, wants us to forget that Gramm has been a key player on McCain's campaign team. Gramm was McCain's campaign CO-CHAIR and LEADING ECONOMIC ADVISER.

With Gramm in the driver's seat as his leading economic adviser, now you know why economists and analysts are saying that McCain's economic policy plans are untenable.

Jimbo3800, you are right, Obama has been caught. He is a Christian church attending Muslim. Next he will be accused on being Jewish. Jimbo, you are probably some of those, I will assume that you are a poor representation of the white race, so all intelligent white users please ignore this statement. You probably believe that Obama won because of Affirmative Action, he's black,..... To summarize, just plain jealousy.
