Barack Hussein Obama, wants to sit down an reason with the Obama Bin Laden through diplomatic negotiation of diplomacy tactics after he pulls all the troops out....
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Obama was a Muslim. Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL) attended an Islamic ???madrassa??? school as a 6-year-old child.. He was sworn into office on the Koran. He doesn't say the Pledge of Allegiance. His pastor is an anti-Semite. He's a tool of Louis Farrakhan. He's anti-Israel. His advisers are anti-Israel. He's friends with terrorists. The terrorists want him to win. He's the Antiwar on terror because he wants to sit with the terrorist countries and negotiate with them on peaceful terms, when all their concerned with is annihilating the U.S. of A. off the face of the Earth.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Obama is Christian, a member of Chicago???s Trinity United Church of Christ since 1988.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
???maybe he doesn???t consider terrorists the enemy.???

???Are the American people ready for an elected president who was educated in a Madrassa as a young boy and has not been forthcoming about his Muslim heritage????

I repeat Also why doesn't Obama put his hand on his heart during the national anthem? Have a look at the photo from the October 1, 2007 edition of "Time." It shows Obama, Hillary and Bill Richardson at the Steak Fry of Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) on September 17 in Indianola, IA during the National Anthem. Richardson and Clinton have their hands on their heart. But not Obama. (http://www.snopes.com/politics/graphics/anthem.jpg)
Obama quits church after long controversy? He's a goody two shoes now because he's a presidential candidate !

true democrat, I think you are wrong, if Obama was white it would be easier for him to get elected.
he is still in the race, because all the american people who support him, most of them anyway have read his books, listened carefully, researche his vote, looked in his past, looked at his life, made a judgement and decide they want a smart man who graduated MAgna *** laude from Harvard, paid his loans off, worked for the common people in the state senate, has empathy for the poor, as seen the corruption in the system and has volunteered to be a possible president to bring some real changes in the way we do run the government and the country.
Read, read, read...learn learn learn then come back and talk about issues and why your candidate is better if you have one rather than attacking the man.
I see some real jeaolusy arising in some of this conversations.
I am white and for me Sen Obama is a man, an american and a patriot.
Frankly I would not want to be a president for the likes of many people I hear talking in this blogs no matter what you pay me. The hell with you.

Democrat comes from the word Democracy in which I am a part of just like you, and I speak with my freedom of speech just like you do but with my own opinion, and I have all nationalities in my family and which some of them are of color. I have no hate toward anyone. Colon Powell for the presidency would be awesome, but NOT Obama. It has to do with the person and his or her credibility, wisdom along with Knowledge. I believe Chauvinistic ideals are behind the "Secret Anti Hillary Campaign". If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position, and if it's a woman (of any color) Chauvinistic closed minded males wouldn't let her be in this position either. BUT WE'RE TALKING "HILLARY CLINTON FOR PRESIDENT" the most loved and respected wife of The Greatest modern day President of all time, "BILL CLINTON", and also the most loved husband and wife team in the history of politics. Read the Blogs see what the people really think. And as for Florida and Michigan, I and most sensible Americans believe the Democratic National Committee decision was WRONG for Florida and Michigan, Obama and Clinton's name was on the ballot but Obama chose to take his name off the ballot in Michigan, and that was his decision and his problem. There are 50 states in America and all should be allowed to vote and all votes counted. People Know Corruption when they see it. Trust me!

I hate to burst your bubble but the clintons are the embodiement of corruption. From white water to Cattle futures Hillary was involved in all kinds of shady deals. The last act of the Clinton presidency was to pardon tax cheats and donors that had been convicted. Hillary is beloved by many americans and she has advanced the womans movement but she her lack of character is what eventually brought her down. The Michigan Florida debacle showed just how power hungry she is. All the other candidates had agreed not to appear on the ballot in Michigan and she conveniently left her name on just in case it would come back to help her. Florida's early election took place before Obama had really gotten his name out and the fact that he didn't campaign hurt him more.

I think that this is a 'general comment' made as a Black American, so if you will is a comment made in a 'race context.' The good part is that now people is listening about Black American behaviors as a race, and not too many are happy about it. The bad part is that Obama is politizing 'the moment' to gain notoriety without wanting to see the whole picture. I always said that 'if your parents are poor economically speaking chances are that their sibling will follow the same path. However, if you come from wealthy parents chances are that their sibling will become wealthy as well. Tha' s the huge difference between to be a Black American when compare to other races. If Obama becomes "the Man" I hope that he will find means to turn around 'la tortilla" and help his own race. Minorites always had been mistreated by the system. Black America had been 'tormented' by history and the way I observe the changes made so far, it will continue about the same path. For minorites the "American dream" had become only that: A dream.

    • Posted By: Dan Maloy @ 07/10/2008 8:51:03 PM

You said that "for minorities the "American dream" had become only that: a dream".

Do you have any idea at all how many "minorities" have lived, and are living, the "American dream" RIGHT NOW? What about Bill Cosby? What about Michael Jordan? What about Carl Lewis? What about Denzel Washington? or Morgan Freeman? What about the thousands of professional, American athletes whose names don't sound anything like "Smith" or "Miller" or "Jones"? Or how about J.C. Watts or Condoleezza Rice? (Do you even know who she is?) Aren't THEY living the American Dream?

For them, it wasn't the "American Handout"....it was the "American Dream" and they got there by WORK.

There is no reason why someone as arrogant, foolishly clever and ultimately dangerous as Barack Obama should become president, especially not at a time when the threat of international terrorists with nuclear weapons looms over 300 million Americans.

Many people seem to regard elections as occasions for venting emotions, like cheering for your favorite team or choosing a Homecoming Queen.

The three leading candidates for their party's nomination are being discussed in terms of their demographics, race, sex and age, as if that is what the job is about.

One of the painful aspects of studying great catastrophes of the past is discovering how many times people were preoccupied with trivialities when they were teetering on the edge of doom. The demographics of the presidency are far less important than the momentous weight of responsibility that office carries.

Just the power to nominate federal judges to trial courts and appellate courts across the country, including the Supreme Court, can have an enormous impact for decades to come. There is no point feeling outraged by things done by federal judges, if you vote on the basis of emotion for those who appoint them.

Barack Obama has already indicated that he wants judges who make social policy instead of just applying the law. He has already tried to stop young violent criminals from being tried as adults.

Although Senator Obama has presented himself as the candidate of new things, using the mantra of 'change' endlessly, the cold fact is that virtually everything he says about domestic policy is straight out of the 1960s and virtually everything he says about foreign policy is straight out of the 1930s.

Protecting criminals, attacking business, increasing government spending, promoting a sense of envy and grievance, raising taxes on people who are productive and subsidizing those who are not; all this is a re-run of the 1960s.

We paid a terrible price for such 1960s notions in the years that followed, in the form of soaring crime rates, double-digit inflation and double-digit unemployment. During the 1960s, ghettoes across the countries were ravaged by riots from which many have not fully recovered to this day.

The violence and destruction were concentrated not where there was the greatest poverty or injustice but where there were the most liberal politicians, promoting grievances and hamstringing the police.

Internationally, the approach that Senator Obama proposes, including the media magic of meetings between heads of state, was tried during the 1930s. That approach, in the name of peace, is what led to the most catastrophic war in human history.

Everything seems new to those too young to remember the old and too ignorant of history to have heard about it.

    "QUOTE"
An Old Newness By Thomas Sowell
    April 29, 2008

Many years ago, a great hitter named Paul Waner was nearing the end of his long career. He entered a ballgame with 2,999 hits, one hit away from the landmark total of 3,000, which so many hitters want to reach, but which relatively few actually do reach.

Waner hit a ball that the fielder did not handle cleanly but the official scorer called it a hit, making it Waner's 3,000th. Paul Waner then sent word to the official scorer that he did not want that questionable hit to be the one that put him over the top.

The official scorer reversed himself and called it an error. Later Paul Waner got a clean hit for number 3,000.

What reminded me of this is the great fervor that many seem to feel over the prospect of the first black President of the United States.

No doubt it is only a matter of time before there is a black president, just as it was only a matter of time before Paul Waner got his 3,000th hit. The issue is whether we want to reach that landmark so badly that we are willing to overlook how questionably that landmark is reached.

Paul Waner had too much pride to accept a scratch hit. Choosing a President of the United States is a lot more momentous than a baseball record. We the voters need to have far more concern about who we put in that office that holds the destiny of a nation and of generations yet unborn.

For the love of God, man, her name is Oprah. Way to look like a dummy for being both a bigot and a poor speller of a pretty widely known name. God, it's the name of her show, you tool. I'm guessing you're white and I pray to God that as a white person myself, I'll never be put in the same light as you.

    • Posted By: SPORTLOCK09 @ 07/10/2008 8:34:12 PM

Can you love yourself and hate your race at the same time? Yes, it's obvious. What exactly does "I'm guessing your white" mean again?

      • Posted By: hayley17 @ 07/10/2008 8:46:16 PM

It was just me being humorous. I'm sure he's white.

The facts are. "GULLIBLE AMERICANS" need to realize 2+2=4. The anger and hate in Jeremiah Wright's sermons are reminiscent of Farrakhan's. They don't wear a smiling mask. Obama does. Be proud of what you are Obama if you have nothing to hide. "Take off your mask" Obama has had about a year or more in the senate and attended about a hundred congressional meetings voting present rather than voting for or against any of the issues being voted on. I want somebody whose been in the White House and has experienced credibility in doing so. Obama is a preschooler in politics for the presidency. He "Knows Nothing" about running a country, and "Knows Nothing" about the other worlds leaders, he's never met with them, he only knows just about what you know "NOTHING" So why don't you run for President? Oh I see on the job training is the way you "GULLIBLE AMERICANS" want for Obama. BOOM! "OMG Call my advisors" BOOM>BOOM>BOOM!

So mr. golulu are we supposed take your ability backed by years of research to know what the candidates are aiming to do rather than taking them at face value backed by the accomplishments of a life time and the reality we can all see and accept as facts? As reason taken leave of your mind?

Why, golly, if there's a website that says it's true-it must be, right? People can write up anything on the internet, bozo. You shouldn't believe everything you read. You are truly ignorant, True Democrat.

Your right, never believe what MSNBC/Newsweek or Fox are telling you.
Anytime you hear a politico say "I think..." "what he meant was..." or "The fact is...." You know they are filling your head with crap.

The theme of this election year is gradually becoming human genetalia. I can't for the life of me see why.
Back when Hillary and Obama were locked in mortal primary battle, there was banter back and forth about who was the strongest and most courageous, able to run the military from he white house, almost. Then, the ante was raised and there was talk of who had "cojones", the spanish word for testicles. Then, one day, in a fit of escalation, James Carville said that Hillary had three testicles to Obama's one testicle, attempting to somehow elevate her as a strong person, three times stronger than Obama. He called them "cojones", though, attempting to lend macho strength to a lady candidate. Macho is, of course, a masculine term and not befitting even a strong willed lady. But, I don't think that James grew up amongst those who spoke the spanish language and we have to forgive him his ignorance.
Now, here we go again. Jesse Jackson recommends removing Obama's "cojones" because he doesn't like Obama's position on a favorite Jesse Jackson issue. This is just nuts. No pun intended.
Then, over on the Republican side comes the story of Senator Mc Cain, noted for his flash fire temper, referring to his lovely wife on an occasion when he was impatient with her, as a "cheap c*nt". Down there we go again.
Hard fought campaigns used to be said to be "visceral", referring to human guts. That was at a time after they had fallen down the body from "brainy", or with Adlai Stevenson, "intellectual".
I don't mean to complain, but since we try to teach children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren about government when elections come around that if we are going to refer to the body for emphasis, we ought to stay away from the crotch on the way down to the feet, where things are obviously headed. Just a matter of common decency. Thanks.

Of course Fineman and Newsweek are going to spin it in favor of Obama. Obama could take a dump on the White House lawn and Fineman or Alter would sing heaps of praise for it.

Barack Obama says that many black American men have been behaving irresponsibly and he's hailed as a hero among the black community.

Hmmm.....isn't that what Bill Cosby has been saying publicly for several years now?

    Yep.

So why is Obama hailed as a hero? Why wasn't Bill Cosby hailed as a hero for saying it? The general response from the American black community was to tell Mr. Cosby to shut up.

Could it be that many black Americans didn't think Bill Cosby wasn't "important enough" to pay attention to?

    • Posted By: SPORTLOCK09 @ 07/10/2008 8:37:31 PM

I think the question was "Is Obama black enough" wasn't it? Imagine if whites wanted to know if McCain was white enough for their vote. Would that be racist?

I know this isn't on topic, but I have a comment for Mr./Ms. Jjesuscchrist. If that isn't your true name, I think you need to change your sign-on identity. Your comments foul the name of history's most righteous men. I am ashamed for such words, considering your sign-on name. I suggest you read the Sermon on the Mount, particularly Matthew 5: 43-48: "You heard that it was said, 'You must love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' However, I say to you: Continue to love your enemies and to pray for those persecuting you; that you may prove yourselves somes of your Father who is in the heavens, since he makes his sun rise upon wicked people and good and makes it rain upon righteous people and unrighteous. For if you love those loving you, what reward do you have? Are not also the tax collectorsd doing the same thing? And if you greet your brothers only, what extraordinary thing are you doing? Are not also the people of the nations doing the same thing? You must accordingly be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect."

I am an independent voter who has watched virtually every political program and debates over the past year. I listened closely and was convinced I would be voting Democratic this year until Barrack Obama became the presumptive nominee. Initially he was a contender in my mind until he played the Race Card. I can???t understand how the public cannot see through this man! I believe Rev. Wright???s outrageous remarks were planned as well as Rev. Jesse Jackson???s comments yesterday. Wright gave him a way to denounce him and Rev Jackson allowed Obama look ???more white???. This man will do ANYTHING TO GET ELECTED. Even the media can???t see this.

All the factual truth about Barack Hussein Obama
is here at this link: http://hcsfjm.com/ - Hillary Clinton Supporters for John McCain

McCain will win the presidency if Obama is the presidential candidate against him. Count on it. I for one will be voting for McCain given that situation along with many other "Sensible Americans". Hillary Clinton is the only one who has a shot against McCain. The Hillary / Bill team already ran the country, well think about how much better the country was economically and how well we got along with the other countries. Obama has had about a year or more in the senate and attended about a hundred congressional meetings voting present rather than voting for or against any of the issues being voted on. I want somebody whose been in the White House and has experienced credibility in doing so. You can have the greatest advisors and people around you, but one thing is for sure, any presidential candidate can Talk the Talk, but only the experienced can Walk the Walk. I personally don't want a preschooler in politics for the presidency. Maybe after some good credible years in the senate Obama can learn to walk and run with the best of them. Obama is all of a sudden denouncing Jeremiah Wright. After several years of dominating his church for like, 20 years worth now, he's running for president and all of a sudden denouncing Jeremiah Wright and resigning from his church? In the twenty years Obama been listening to Jeremiah Wright, he NEVER objected to his speeches before. Why Now? Hey wake up "GULLIBLE AMERICANS" 2+2=4! The anger and hate in Jeremiah Wright's sermons are reminiscent of Farrakhan's. They don't wear a smiling mask. Obama does. Be proud of what you are Obama if you have nothing to hide. "Take off your mask" Muslim, Kenya, Islam people like Farrakhan and his own pastor Jeremiah Wright praising Farrakhan. NICE ! Also why doesn't Obama put his hand on his heart during the national anthem? Have a look at the photo from the October 1, 2007 edition of "Time." It shows Obama, Hillary and Bill Richardson at the Steak Fry of Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) on September 17 in Indianola, IA during the National Anthem. Richardson and Clinton have their hands on their heart. But not Obama. (http://www.snopes.com/politics/graphics/anthem.jpg) also for the first time ever his wife feels patriotic? She said, "For the first time in my adult lifetime, I???m really proud of my country" NICE ! Hey wake up "GULLIBLE AMERICANS"!
