    I have spent the time reading alot of the posts on this website and have come to one conclusion. We all let the media influence us in one way or another. If you listen to talk radio (both sides) then come here and read these posts you are all sheep. I have never been more disgusted in how easy people can be manipulated to believe the crap that both side put out. The politcians will always revise their positions (flip flop) why because we allow them. Both canidates have changed their positions when it suits them! I could spend hours pointing out both of these canidates flip flops but what I think we should spend less time playing these games of GOTCHA and spend more time figuring out how to fix the mess that we are all facing. I am like most americans wondering when the bottom is going to fall out of our great nation. I wish that they would care less about towing their party line and do what is best for the US. It seems that if a good idea came from a democrat a republican would vote against it for that reason alone and the same would be said if a good idea came from a republican. I think that the only way to fix this country is take make the politicians more accountable to us the citizens. Now if I only had answer to that I would be everyones hero! But for now we should pause and realize that both side have great solutions for fixing our nation lets spend less time tearing each other down and fix our great country!

    Obama is not a saint. He is someone who's trying to serve so humanism can triumph over greed. I don't think you really want John Mccain as your President to continue this mess I am seeing here in Iraq, Kuwait and Bahrain - a total waste of our resources. If you put Mccain in the White House to continue Bush's failed policies and poorly execcuted plans, he will bring our beloved America to her knees.

    Don't you see what's happening now? Iran is humiliating us saying whatever they want, harrassing our forces around here. Why? Because of the Republican regime's failed policies (Bush/Mccain).

    You shamelss media Obama cheerleaders just don't get it, do you? You imply all but 17% of Clinton voters will vote for McCain.. You didn't say how many were undecided or will not vote at all. You are grossly underestimating the Clinton factor. Your polls have been way off the mark. The media turned us off by the constant referrals to Clinton supporters as uneducated, old and racist. Apparently you think we are too stupid to surn on a TV, read thhe newspaper or surf the internet. (You never seem to mention the education level of the 90% of African American voters for Obama, most of whom are voting for him based upon the color of his skin, not the content of his character.) You just keep insulting Clinton supporters and independants and you will insure Obama's defeat in November. And that muslim garbage is mainly perpetuated by Republicans. I was a big Obama fan when he was elected to the Senate. I voted FOR Clinton because of her long track record on the issues I cared about . I have since lost all respect for Obama. His campaign is all about lofty, non-specific speeches and PR gimmicks. I would not vote for him to be dogcatcher. I don't agree with McCain on some issues, but better the devil I know than the one I don't,

    But you boys and the girls who work for you just keep doinng what you are doing and we will slam it back in your faces. I don't like to be told how to vote or, even worse, trying to be shamed into how to vote.

He portrays himself as an agent of "Change" while being the biggest, lying politician in the last half decade. He will tax us into oblivion. He has no understanding of foreign affairs. His only qualification is his ability to read a teleprompter. Wakeup America. Strong military. Self sufficiency (drill for oil, nuclear plants, refineries, etc) is what made us strong. Not taxation and distribution of wealth. Jesse had it right ... cut his nu&s off.

        That is because Obama was not in a position like all of the US Senators that were put in as a position to make an actual physical VOTE to vote on ( which Obama was in no way a US senate to vote on but to have his his position based on in a speech about his view on the war, that, if weighed, is the same as any of us US americans not exposed to what the Senators/House had to deal with to make their vote on for a GO or NO Vote to go to war based on what Bush W. laid out to base their decision on. Given the senators/congressmen/women were presented with what they were given for evidence to go on by their government (which was that there was evidence of Weapons of Mass Destruction, WMDs supposedly being in Iraq by our US government research what else were they to base their decision on? Even Obama said that he would not know how he would have voted if he was a US senator when the vote came up as he did not have access to the same documentation that the US senators had back then (not in the senate), et al were basing their vote on what they knew was the case based on what was presented to them.

    Big business learned its lesson in Vietnam and vowed NOT to let the press tell on them this time. Turns out the end of the old moive studios in the 90s opened the door for them to begin buying up the media. Rumor has it ALL of American media is owned by only 6 corporations.
    All with a decidedly ugly agenda. (Why do you think they want us digital by Feb. 2009? So they can control the propaganda.)
    Use compassion reason and logic. Quantify what you're told gathering information from as many sources as you can and sift thru to see whats more likely true than not. Odds are, its slanted toward the right. How could it not be?
    The internet is the last bastion of freedom and they are making serious inroads there as well.

    The Dem's portraying US as weak and preaching "The End" will backfire. America is strong and still the best country in the world by far.       This is the truth. That's the way of the politician--promise you're going to do something, get into office/power, and don't fulfill your promises. Most Americans are too lazy to and irresponsible to vote for honest politicians (if there were such a thing...from either party).     Obama has been able to fool some folks, but time has caught up with him. The man is a marxist who intends to cause class struggle in America. He will say and do anything to become president. Imagine if a wimp like Obama had been a POW, he would have sold out all the other prisoners of war just like he'll sell out this nation. Also have you noticed that in most of his political ads you only see white folks. What is he so afraid of?       Actual Muslims pray to Mecca five times a day, every day, without fail. Obama, on the other hand, has the Washington press corps on him so tight that he can't take a piss without twenty reporters knowing it. What I should ask you as a question is this... Have you ever seen a Prisoner who came out of prison in the US, without showing any signs of abnormal behaviours? I guess you must have seen one, and that should be John McCain. Well I have seen a couple of them and I know how they behave and sometimes they undergo rehabilitation.

But for whatever reason, you would think given that (and talk about McCain supposedly being just another Bush W.) you would think Obama would have double-digit lead non-stop since his primary win and supposedly gaining alot of Hillary supporters. LOL. Last I looked Friday RasmussenReports had Obama with just a 2% lead and if not counting any leaners, only a 1% lead. Wassup wid dat?

Why can't American media stand back from politics and report the news, as it did many years ago, instead of trying to write the news?     Until we are able to poll everybody, no poll will be accurate. Next week McCain could be ahead by 20 points, depending on who you ask. These polls are misleading and are given more importance than they deserve. By showing the random results of a certain poll, many people can be led to believe that what it says is actually a true representation of the publics feelings.

      A lot depends on how the questions are phrased. I'd really like to see every poll to have to print the questions they asked with the results. I suspect that a few of these polls had loaded questions.

    Odd. Every CNN "situation" , every MSNBC's "Softball" pitch to the Dems, and that Kieth Obamaman keep telling us it's over. I could not understand why a guy who reversed himself on campaign finance, guns, abortion,troop withdrawal and FISA , wasn't paying a price. Apparently he is. It is just something CNN and MSNBC is too bias to see, or worse, report. The people will have the final say and no candidate has closed the deal.

      You need to take a look at McBush. He can't even get his own stories straight. He's been having a senior moments just about every day. He actually is beginning to appear as a liar, constantly changing his stories. Shall I begin...First McCain was against torture but now he's for it. Second, he was pro choice and now he's against. Third, he didn't approve or vote for the recent GI Bill increasing veterans benefits. Oh yes, and he's taking credit for writing this bill when in fact Jim Webb was the main proponent. Third, he has a consistent record for voting against veteran bills. Need I go on. Let's see, what else?? Oh yes, it's John McCain that's getting the free press. The list is too long for all of McBush's flip flops.

      Prisoners who are incarcerated because they committed a crime are not the same as someone like McCain who was captured by the enemy and held as a prisoner of war. Are you really trying to convince us that they are the same? Thats about the dumbest thing I've read all night!
