I'm sorry but I have to say it - both Britney and Jamie are nothing more than "white trash". Uneducated, uncouth, classless white trash, and so is their mother. Once again proof that money does not give you class!!!!!

This is the exact reason for the majority of our ills in society. Glorifing teen pregnancy produces more of it. Our prisons are full of children from teen pregnancies. Our welfare system is going broke because of this problem. For rich editors and the like to sit back in their gated communities away from reality only to throw money to relieve their conscience is useless and will encourage more of this behavior and contributed to this problem. We need a new direction because this mentality is destroying our country.

I find it unbelievably irresponsible to put the message out there that it's ok to make babies when your a teenager, weather you have money in the bank or not. It's not only the adolescent involved here, it's the child born to a parent that isn't yet ready face life's challenges and thinks it'll be "fun" to have a baby. It's the grandparents having to care for the baby while their child finishes school. It's yet another child most likely without a father figure to raise it. My children don't watch Zoey 101 due to the fact that she isn't what we consider to be a good roll model. It's abhor able to glamorize a story like this just to cell magazines.

This is'nt reality. The teen out there with no job, no means of support, on welfare, living hand to mouth, not able to care for the child, that is reality. Not some star with money in the bank and a mother willing to raise the baby while the teen finishes school and then goes to college.WAKE-UP. Life is not the same for regular
people. The only ones able to pull this off are the very rich.

What I want to know is what kind of precedent it sets for STATUTORY RAPE! Every other guy who's even ONE DAY over 18, and gets a girl UNDER the age of 18 pregnant, usually has some story to tell of appearing in front of a judge. Yet, they get a pass? Because of who they are? This just shows that those with more, have less to deal with. And what makes you think she's gonna be a "momma?" She'll have a nanny and only have to deal with that kid on HER time..... This crap makes me sick........

Only a white person would ask this stupid question.

She'll be a great mother; she's setting a fine example of a role model thus far.....

Newborns are beautiful? Okay, you think that...

Of course this glamorizes teen pregnancy. Let's visit this child again in a year and see how Maddie is doing then. How many teens having babies can afford to feed and house them? How many can provide the necessary medical care? How many will provide the love and attention the child requires? This one can only because she is a celebrity. By far the majority of teen mothers cannot. What about the mother? Will she continue school or have to take a minimum wage job, farm out the child to day care and try to collect child support from an equally challenged "father?"

You bet this glamorizes teen pregnancy. Let's revisit this situation in about a year and see how the baby is doing then. How many teens having babies will be able to afford food and housing, medical care and full time love? This one will only because of the celebrity status she enjoys. Good Grief!

Teenage Pregnancy isn't a (the) problem. PERIOD! GOD (or "BIG BANG") created all life (.) to produce more life. When?! When it's able to! (When?!) Physically, there's a definite time limit. It depends on the species! But, FOCUS on the basics of the problem! Birth shouldn't be a problem. GOD rejoices!!! ("BIG BANG" blows up a little more.(?) What about the (persons) attitude (him & her) at the time?! Is the time right for a new life. ALL species (should) consider this. MATURITY! Judge not, lest ye also be! Finally, I would never have known, or considered Jamie Lynn's baby, if NOT for our media. The media tells us these things so we'll be in the "know"! And it's in the "money".

    • Posted By: Sachiko1776 @ 07/15/2008 5:29:33 AM

The Big Bang theory is about how the universe started, not how life started. Go learn some biology, please.

Also, we're not all Christians! SURPRISE!

      • Posted By: C.A.R. @ 07/15/2008 6:16:57 AM

Then if big bang didn't start life, either, do U know who/what did! AND, if U'll excuse me, I did know that U're all not Christians. I tried not to point out U'r mistake.

Chronologically, the optimum age for a woman to bear a child is 23 years old. That said, the artificial age line we place on our youth(18 years old) cannot really control human hormones from wishing to procreate. However distasteful this may be to feminists, etc. You can fight a lot of battles in life and survive, but if you fight your own biology, you will always lose.

Rather than being in denial about teenage pregnancy, western culture would do well to shine the spotlight on our own cultural mores. Is there the slightest chance that teenage pregnancy for some women is a good thing?

You can take the trash out the trailer, but you can't take the trailer out the trash ( not meant to be deragatory against decent people who live in trailers.)

i think this just goes to show that this is real life and that famous people are actually NORMAL!!... it doesnt take 1 artical in the paper for a teenager to have unprotected sex!.. im a teenage mum and ive had no problem bringing my daughter up. i think its wrong that people sterotype young mums to be with out a babys father and living in council housing on benefits because im certainly not. it just goes to show that doesnt matter how much money you have or how many papers youve been in .. this is real life. girls make these choices and live with it .. being a mum is the best thing thats ever happened to me, you dont have to be over 30 to make a good mum!!!... i say good luck to the girl and hope mum and baby are well!!

So it's ok to be a teen mom if you're "not typical" and have happened to made big bucks somewhere? What a crock of manure that is. She's still a child who made a mistake. In an environment where sex sells, and she is supposedly a "smart girl", hello?! Where were the thoughts of CONTRACEPTION? God help the children; no doubt they will grow up being just as delusional about reality as their parents.

Leave Brit alone, she's just having a hard time. And by the way, L.A. is not a state.
