There are so many openly racist on this blog, it amazes me how most of yall have all these opininons about obama, but have done no research at all, i find most of yall disgusting . mcbush is a complete idiot and he doesn't even know how to read, or give an informed or articulate opinion on anythign that his advisers don't tell him. You seem to miss the point of what was being said. You say to talk about the issues. Well, the possibility that the next president of this country could be anti-American, anti-white, and against all that we stand for as a nation IS an issue and a VERY SIGNIFICANT issue. As for getting on with affordable health care and so on, as you mentioned, do you really think that a man who is offering everything to everyone is doing anything other than just trying to con you into voting for him? And do you really think he can somehow magically give everyone all that he has promised? The "affordable" health care that he wants to give us is SOCIALISTIC health care, which has proven time and again to be way more expensive (think TAXES, TAXES, TAXES), to result in a much poorer quality of health care (no payoff results in no incentive for improvement, for invention, for trying harder), and to result in RATIONED health care. To briefly explain what rationed health care is: It means that, if you are too old, too ill, too "damaged" (mentally retarded, for example), you will not get treatment, because there will not be enough to go around. The treatment that could save your life will go to the people who can "offer more to society" or who have a better chance of living a productive life. That's the way it works. And that's the way everything works in a socialist society. As for Obama being part white and part black, clearly his black side is the one he favors, and clearly he has an anti-white attitude. He attended a church for 20 years where anti-white, bigoted, anti-American, Marxist beliefs were the order of the day. How could you possibly continue to attend for that long, and count the racist pastor as your closest mentor, of you didn't agree with the basic, continually spoken teachings and beliefs of the church? You also should seriously study the evidence that Obama is a communist. There is a very extensive amount of evidence that shows his past and present communist associations, mentors, helpers, etc. Also, why would our enemies (Iran, Al-Qaeda, etc.) be so eager for him to be elected, unless they, at least, thought he would be a push-over to deal with, and., at worst, considered him to be more on their side than on ours? These terrorist leaders study our news, our candidates, and our elections in great depth. They know what this man, Obama, is all about. I only hope and pray that America will wake up before he leads us into a ruined nation, with no freedoms, a ruined economy, and attacks that will make 911 look like a picnic. And, by the way, he is definitely NOT a Christian, and he is most likely simply faking that he is one. The first tenet of Christianity, essential for anyone to ever become a born-again Christian, is that Christ is the ONLY way to God. Jesus Christ Himself said that. And Obama denies that, saying that there are many ways to God.

These comments scare me as a young American. I feel we have become so consumed with painting politicians what they arent ,that we never actually see them for what they are. My generation yerns for a president not tied down by his own religous beliefs , but accepting and understanding that they will be running a nation consumed of many. My generation yerns for a whole country not divided by race, gender , age and other exterior characteristics, but embraces that these are the people we see in our clasrooms everyday in many parts of the U.S. If as a voter you disagree with the way he will run this country, that is understandable. But as a person treat him with the respect you would want if in his situation. Many of you will write this off as a comment from a young person who obviously supports Obama because i have " drank the kool-aid". But know that we support a tollerant nation that is as diverse as our classrooms. There are alot of big progressive promises in this election and there is only one of the two remaining candidates willing to try and help them to come to fruition.

As a fellow Christian, I relate to what Senator Obama has said in this article. Seeking God's guidance through prayer and fulfilling His purpose for our lives on earth is the best we can do. When we humble ourselves and consult with Christ on big and little things, He is faithful to guide us through the Holy Spirit. I am confident that as long as Senator Obama continues to use God's word as his plumb line, he will make wise decisions and use sound judgment for our Nation. Under the current circumstances, being President of the United States of America will be no "bed of roses" over the next four years. It will be more like a forest of thorns. Yeshuaz girl it's not up to you to judge anybody's walk with God. First work on the specks in your eyes before you work on somebody elses. Only God can judge and I know for a fact you are not God.
