    A wonderful article. I owuld say Obama is very clever, though I find it easy to be extremely honest as well when hashing out all faiths and all religions. But the one peculiar thing about this article is how Obama constantly is humbly admitting his flaws and failures and I have to say that is the reason that Jesus Christ and the salvation by grace thorugh faith is th eonly true way. He admits that he does not belive in hell, that is a typical concern for seekers and the lost and the "kind" and "spiritual" crowd. You see there is no risk in floowing Christ when you never take a side. No hell would mean no consequence to sin, you see he admits all along that he is broken and imperfect that is the main essential thing that sets Christ apart, and why many evangelicals know Jesus is the Way, the Truth and The light. No one comes to the Father except through ME.

    I am 30 years old and I have to say that voting was never a big importance to me until now. I have a child that thinks that Obama is the antichrist and the world is going to end. I have ppl in my family that think he is Muslim. How awful are people??? My daughter is scared that she is going to die if he is elected. I had to tell her that God will have a hand is whomever is elected. What are parents putting into their children nowadays? We are damned to hell if Obama is elected? When it affects my kid, I get mad. I hope that people realize that how he was raised with whatever religion was not necessarily Obamas decision. He is a Christian.

      Just a funny note. you describe your own children having poor beliefs, and then you ask the question, "what are parents putting in their children's heads?"

    The important thing here is that Obama doesn't wear his faith on his lapel. Religious beliefs should be a private matter and religion has no reasonable place in politics. Toassume that all Americans are Christian is not a reasonable asumption.

    As for Obama being a true Christian--is not for me to Judge--only Jesus Christ knows the heart of Obama. But reading this write up about his Faith--one thing that bothers me is the fact that he is not Pro-life- God gives us all life-and Man doesn't have the right to take a baby and destroy it in aboration. It saddens me to think that him and other people that say they are Christians and serving the Lord can even approve of killing an unborn child. That is a real live baby inside the womb and is the moment he or she is concieved. I also have doubts about him as far as being a Muslim--Once of Muslem faith--always a Muslem. This makes me very uneasy with the fact that Obama could run this great and free country of ours that God has Blessed us with. Someone had told me that we shouldn't judge him by the color of his skin--well the color of his skin has nothing to do with why I won't vote for him.It doesn't matter the color of ones skin --its what they believe in.May God's will be done in this upcoming election.       Are you suggesting that a Muslim is never able to leave their faith? I used to know a Muslim who converted to Christianity. Are you saying that he is not a real Christian? Who exactly are you to say he isn't? Why do Christian missionaries go to Muslim countries then? If the Muslims they convert are still Christian, what is the point? You sound a bit arrogant and judgmental. And for the abortion issue, it was never mentioned in the Bible. You would think if God considered this to be important he would have mentioned it. You have no way of knowing how God feels about this issue. Again, you are arrogant to pretend you do.

        Yes, forget loving thy neighbor, the idea most often referenced in the Bible. Instead, lets talk about abortion, a subject that neither God nor his Son felt merited their attention. Before you get worked up, you may be interested to learn that there was a herb in the mid-east that every midwife knew would cause a woman to miscarry. This plant was extremely popular throughout Biblical times. It was the earliest known means of abortion, used SO FREQUENTLY in fact, that it became extinct. You can't possibly believe that abortion concerned God or Jesus when it was more common then than now, yet neither had anything to say on the matter.

    i think that obama does not love our country enough to do anything about the problems in our nation because he will not salute to our flag that shows how much we have worked to have a free nation , and i do not think obama gets that
