Finding His Faith

Islamic law dictates that when the father is Muslim, children have to be Muslims. A man could marry a nonbeliever woman but her children are automatically enrolled in the system prescribed by the Sharia law. On the contrary, a Muslim woman cannot marry a nonbeliever husband under sever penalties. End result: children will be Muslims one way or another what explains the amazing progress of Islam since 1/3 of the world is Muslim.
There is only one way to heaven and that is through Jesus. Politicians may suggest a humanistic approach to reach heaven such as appealing to a Christianity that accepts sin at the public level. For example: approving laws that permit homosexual marriage, abortion, pornification of America, corruption, lies, etc. By their fruits you will know ( by their actions and laws)

Wasn't it Christ who said, "He who is without sin cast the first stone." Christ was heavily influenced by Buddists where he grew up; a belief that we are all one. God is love, he who dwells in love dwells in God, and God's in him.

Who are we to dictate what others should believe? Wasn't that why we had a Revolutionary War?

Weird and sad world we live in... as i read all these comments, all i see is extremism, racism, and fanaticism in nearly all of them, as well as some rather disturbing accusations. I do not defend Obama, nor accuse him, but people, look at yourselves, what kind of fear has taken you? Either you come just short of calling this man the antiChrist, or just short of a god. He is merely a man. Peace be upon you all.

I believe in his policies over McCain, but i'm not about to bow down to that man, claim he is always right, nor praise him as if i was in a cult of some sort, that in itself is dangerous buisness... I am not a biggot at all, quite frankly, even though i am Christian, i wouldn't mind seeing someone like say.. a Buddhist, run this country as long as he or she wouldn't impose the religion upon me. A religious state might scares some Catholics, Protestants and Eastern Orthodox believers but the idea is not New Testament thought. It will not scare a true Christians, who a follower of the teaching of Jesus Christ, as those teachings have been defined and re-defined by scholars for almost two thousand years. Jesus Christ was not about starting "religious states", what some of your writers might mean by the vague statement.

Jesus said, "the kingdom of God is within you". He did not fight His crucifixion but rather surrendered to the will of God the Father and gave His life for the sins of humanity. The victory was won when He rose up on the third day!

The only hope for the individual or the nation is the salvation that is offered through Christ. You don't have to believe, but it does not change what Jesus actually said. No where in the Bible will you find Jesus forcing anyone to believe anything that He said. But have you ever noticed how the Bible, by far, has become the best selling book in existence, without force? People, even Chinese people who have been denied free access to it in the past, find it of great interest, whenever they get their hands on a copy. I don???t really need to defend the Bible, because the Bible is of age and has done quite well in defending itself, by God???s grace!

Having said all of this, I hope that whoever is the next generation of leaders in America fully understands this proverbial wisdom. ???Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord!??? I???ll let your readers decide who they think the Lord really is!

I hope that Obama is sincere in his search for truth, for God says that those who are truly seeking Him, He will allow to find Him. I am not sure from Obama's speech that he has yet found and knows and loves the one true God. The Holy Scriptures (the Bible) is God's truth given to us through the language and writings of men. It is totally inspired by God through His Spirit that dwelled within the prophets and apostles who gave us the texts. The Bible is true, every word, every story, every parable, every concept...reveals the true God and the way to salvation...the only way. It is not myself, or Obama, or anyone else who gets to choose this way to eternal life. God chose it. And that way is through complete repentence of rebellion to God's laws and commands and to put our faith, hope, and trust in His only Son Jesus Christ.

In the Bible Jesus says..."I am the bread of life, whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. But I said to you that you have seen me and yet do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. For I have come down from heaven not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of my Father (GOD) that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day." John 6:35-40.

This is what it really means to be a Christian. To believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and read the Word to understand the truth. I hope that no one is deceived to believe otherwise.

Even If he is a Muslim, SOOOOO What Ignorants. at least He is not a Member of the KKK.

Sooo-- what religions does Barack profess? Is he Muslim, Christian, or Buddhist?? Wow-- this sounds like the kind of man I want in charge in the Oval Office (NOT!!). All I hear right now is a man still searching for religious identity and wanting empty "change" throughout the US. I only hear a man just wanting to find opportunity to advance himself - instead of TRUE AMERICAN, CHRISTIAN BASED VALUES. If he can do that- I would be the first to vote for him, but he has no SPIRITUAL grounding! He is a man still supposedly "searching" for a spiritual identity. He and his wife wasted 20 YEARS in a church that only preached about life being unfair and that its everyone else's fault because of a certain skin color. I dont buy that- a person is only responsible for themselves and their spiritual identity! They cannot just keep "searching" for most of their adult lives for spiritual truth - and trying to find a CORRECT answer! I just try to live my life DAY BY DAY- and seek my (Christian) God's guidance! Either stand for what you believe BARACK or keep searching - but not while you're in the Oval Office!!
