I agree about the media trying to cram OBAMA down our throats. He adds new meaning to the words FLIP-FLOP. He is constantly changing his position on everything. Don't get me wrong, I have problems with McCain, but at least McCain has shown he will stand by his decisions and not change them just to appease the left! OBAMA is nothing more than a showboat. It is amazing how much the media influences peoples decisions by telling you what you want to hear rather than the truth.

What a crock! everyone know wher his beliefs are. You don;t go to the same church for 20 years and not go along with what is being preached ther. He only quit because of politics, his mind is still there.

Obama has religion - or religious beliefs - I will accept his word on this. Religion is not faith and it is not necessarily a belief in GOD the Father of Jesus Christ. Obama indicates an absence of faith in Christ - but this is not my call. Obama is a liar - I know this from hi flip-flopping on issues and the fact he says he is a Christian but can't talk about it (at all). Obama is a liar - and he is not a christian messiah. He may very well be amessiah but if he were saved and a true believer in "The Good News" he would state it emphaticallt as Presiden t BUsh does.

20 years people, he sat in church listening to anti white, anti American vomit coming from a radical, racist Uncle Jeremiah Wright. You have to be like minded to sit and support that for that long. If that makes people racist for not voting for Ohmama, then count me in. But if it was McCain in the same situation, I wouldn't vote for him either. I guess that would make me anti white also.

I am delighted to finally see a balanced and insightful article about Sen. Obama's religion and beliefs. His belief structure reflects the searching and spiritual fulfillment of the majority of Americans, whose beliefs are not bound by the strict dogma forced on them by people on the fringes. Faith is a very personal matter, and it is courages and inspiring to see Obama sharing his in this campaign. We can all only benefit from having a national dialog about faith again after so much top-down definition of what is "correct" belief.
