You know, many people have died due to policies --leaving Iraq entireley aside --advocated by Tony Snow and his cronies. And Tony --while charming -- did not always tell the truth. He liked "winning" the exchange.

Tony's loss is obviously painful to those who loved him. Many of the people who died because they didn't have insurance, or were in some other way denied access to the potential benefits of this society while the clique (about one person in a thousand) Tony represented so profitably continued to receive the majority of teh benefits of ever more work and increaseed individual productivity --many of those people were also missed.

I never wished him ill, and I am sorry for his death. But many others are dying, many of them because of policies which he advocated with less than complete candor.

God have mercy on us all. May we be forgiven.

Lets not forget that when Clinton was president (8 years), he did not give enough funding to discover a cure for cancer. Lets not forget that he did not push for more alternative energies so that we did not have to engage in wasteful resouce wars (Iraq and many others to come). Lets not forget that he abandoned Somalia and Rwanda to genocide which has in turn fueled terrorism. Lets no forget that Democrats have controlled congress for 2 years and have shown little accomplishment other than whining over a 5 year old war. Lets us not forget that Obama has a straight line democratic voting record and will more than likely not stand up to the congress. So before you blame Tony for everything, take a better look at the american system for we are all to blame.

I had the privledge of having Tony Snow come into my living room on occassion. Though we may not have agreed politically, my impression of him was one of courage, hope and yes, joy... Joy for life, joy of family, joy of every day.... I was very saddened to hear of his death. I truly thought that God would spare this remarkable man. May he rest in peace and know that millions of people are praying for him and the family and friends he left behind....

Elizabeth, thank you for this. I have great admiration for both you and Tony Snow. I send you prayers and special thoughts that you will continue to be hopeful and courageous, as you have been.
