      Okay markuski, are you trying to ruffle feathers like kristy 1006 with your useless comments? That was a very racist comment. My husband is black and I am white. We have a great marriage with two beautiful children and nothing has happened to me. To insiniuate that she had to die a horrible death because she slept with a black man in just WRONG!!!!

    Lets not blame it on race markuski...for all we know these were some drugged up kids who had a foul night.

      So according to your logic, all of god's children are loved only if they aren't sinners?? Following that logic EVERYONE will "burn a internaldeath for the rest of her pathtic life". May he (or she) who is without sin cast the first stone. Besides we don't even know what exactly happened so it's too early to place judgment.

        Ok. This is ridiculous. All god's children are loved - except for this one person who may or may not have been the one who killed someone? How do you figure? And who are you, Kristy, to tell anyone that they're going to hell? Here's a little writing lesson that will make your writing easier to read: before a word that begins with a vowel, it's "an", not "a"; ex. an eye, an apple, an elephant.

    I think it is disgusting what has happened to this girl for no reason, I believe we all get judged in the end... not by our friends, family or anyone else in our life but by the one whose judgement really is the only one that matters. I can't imagine what must have been going through the victims head only thinking that these people were here friends, acquaintance, or simply a roommate and not knowing at all what was about to happen to her I know we all do things or have done things without thinking maybe not to this extent, but to even have a thought of doing something this horrible is really devastating to both sides of their families. I can't even imagine what they must be going through. It's kind of like I have always said that the innocent are paying for the sins of others.

    I think Knox was jealous of her roomate b/c Sollecito wanted to include her in into their sex life. Perhaps he was liking her too much for Knox to handle. Incorporating the knife was probably some premediated game Knox and Sollecito came up with. They probably planned to pin her murder on Guede since was already having sex w/ her regularly and his DNA would be found. Sounds like a good idea but security cameras and a botched cleaning job of the knife tell otherwise.

    Murder, Sex, and Lies. Sounds right out of a crime novel. Sadly one will probably be written about this. But, in truth, this is not fiction! It is real life!.... it is a henous crime that needs to be solved and the people involved, held accountable! I hope the crime scene was not contaminated so much that this puzzle can't be put back together again!

    We are talking about a 20 year old girl here. kristy1006 you are disgusting for your turkey references, then you have the audacity to say "we're all God's children" I think you really need to study your bible a little closer. One article doesn't give the full picture. And while I pray that justice is served, my heart goes out to all of the families involved INCLUDING that of Amanda Knox.

No one doesn't deserve to die no matter what the case maybe if i was the italian goverment i would fry her ass in the electric chair and roast her ass like a turkey and make her die a painful death the way her victum did .

    Well, I'm glad Kristy1006 isn't on the jury - impartiality doesn't seem to be her strong suit. Neither is spelling, rationality or logic...

    But, I digress. We obviously haven't heard all the facts on this one, so, making a kill 'em and let god sort 'em out decision seems like we would be jumping the gun. This case is tragic, and it's fairly obvious that one of the three individuals, if not more, were involved in Meridith's death. However, Knox's sexual preferences were her own, and I sincerely hope she isn't prosecuted primarily on her preference for rough-sex.

    I just finished reading "the Monster of Florence", which discusses another high profile case handled by this prosecutor. He ruined many innocent lives in that case and never brought justice and I wouldn't be surprised if he manages to do the same here. He is solely interested in promoting his own tarnished career and is not afraid to completely disregard the facts to get a conviction. Italy may be a beautiful country, but its justice system has a long way to go.
