Well, it would appear now that the general public are finally starting to realize that Hussein is a rookie and not to be trusted. Its great having a rockstar run for president, until the time comes to get serious and be an adult about the whole thing. Hussein keeps telling us he's been a christian for 20 years, what was he the 20 years prior? A muslim like his dad or step dad? It appears he is NOT Jesus christ II. When you have the support of 35% of Whites, 67% of Hispanics, 94% of Blacks and 80% of foreign born citizens, what happens in an American election?

I've read through most of these posts. I have seen people state that everyone from the GOP to Hillary is behind this tasteless cover. Wake up people. The only people who are responsible for this are the one's that are employed by New Yorker. Let's hold the real people responsible...the cartoonist and the editors who chose to put trash on the front cover. Call New Yorker , preferably on their 1-800 number so they pay for the call and COMPLAIN and cancel your subscriptions .

The cover is GREAT, I bought 2 copies. Very good likeness if you ask me.

I just watched a vid on MSNBC about Are Comediens Staying Away from Obama. Morning Joe guy was about to bust a blood vessel talking down to that lady that was sitting beside him arguing black this, black that. He sounds like a Conservative. If that is what MSNBC has to offer, then I think all media is out to support McCain such as FOX and obvioulsy MSNBC if they have guys like that talking about race that have no business talking about it. That vid was crazy.

Also saw an article that Obama is not closing the race divide. Since when is it Obama that has to close the race divide? I thought this race was not about race. Well now it sounds like it is and it's up to Obama to take care of that issue to. So let's see here, Obama must solve the racial divide, foreign policy, domestic issues; i.e. economy, medicare, social security, homeland security (which he needs to dismantle and replace with something else), infrastructure (post Katrina, midwest flooding, wildfires, bridges), death penalty, education, gender bias, equal rights; he has his hands full. But wait, McCain can handle it, NOT!!!!!!!! This nation is screwy if McCain is voted in. But let's hope that actual thinkers out-vote other thinkers.

American cartoonists are the best in the world! The news industry is irresponsible so why should cartoonists be required to be?
The distrust the MSM has earned for it's self HAS BEEN EARNED-- which many news reporters and journalists ignore. They behave as the distrust is something happening to them, not something they are causing themselves!
The pathetic approval of the DNC controled Congress is EARNED, and not something just happening.
There are problems with the lense the DNC leadership and news media sees the United States and it's people threw. The Americans Suck First lense! Just last week on MSNBC after the comment Jesse Jackson made they were talking about Black America and White America I thought we all lived in the same America. I just love that cover! I can't believe the Liberals came up with something like that! It's just so great. I don't care what their reasons are. I don't believe that anyone on the right could have come up with something that creative! Liberals do have their good points! That cover speaks to us. It is stupid to say ???dressed as a Muslim??? when talking about Obama in the New Yorker???s cover! Unfortunately all the media and those who call themselves journalists are doing the same mistake in addition to offending Islam and Muslims with there comments or of considerate and thoughtful comments!!!! In the illustration, he is dressed as Osama, which is not a Muslim thing since it is not used by just some traditionalist Muslims but also by non Muslims (thing about it). It is confused with traditional attires in some Muslim countries or regions, thus it has to do more about the local customs than Islam! Osama dresses like some traditionalist Saudi tribe members or Afghans (in particular when they were fighting the Russians!) Look around you and think.. I do not want even to think how bad/angry/alienated American (or not) Muslims must feel in the middle of this

So, yes you're cover will have the little old lady in Dubuque believing that Barak is a muslim, they'll believe any lies that the media tells them to believe and as far as the comment posted by hemersam..... who does the flip flopping? who has done the flip flopping for 8 years preceding the Bush administration? I for one am so very glad that it is Barack who will be runing for President, and not Hillary. He has fresh ideas, he is young enough to know what is going on in today's world, he is not one of our 80 year old senate, house reps who still think this is 1920. and he has gotten our young people involved and interested in politics enough to take a stand, to step up enough and say enough is enough, we need change and I believe they will help to make the changes our country so desperately needs. another possible 8 years of a Clinton would have raised our taxes,. during the previous clinton administration our taxes were at 18% and above. with the current administration, our taxes are now around 15% and holding. Bush's tax cuts have helped me tremendously as I am a poor working mother working 2 jobs just to stay afloat. the tax cuts have put a few extra dollars in my pocket so my son was able to be in the band and choir at school and I was able to afford the trips that he needed to go on with those two groups. another cliinton would have denied many children that same opportunity. and it would have forced me to leave the country. I can only hope that another magazine or newpaper or online rumors will read and see the truth about this man. I believe he is the answer to our countries woes.
so hemersam can call him a flip flopper all they want. but they need to remeber the previous clinton administration too truly understand what flipflopping and spinning means.
