This did not offend me or my family. What offends us is the fact Obama was seen on stage and completely ignored the pledge of allegiance. He would not wear the American flag on his lapel at the beginning of his bid for the white house. Does he think intelligent people will vote for him after he attended the Rev. Wright's church all those years and preaching it's white folks are the blame for the blacks folks problems. Obama is bad news. I don't trust him any farther than I can throw a full grown elephant. I would not trust him in a country outhouse with a muzzle on. He is a evildoer on a path of destroying the U.S.A from the inside out. People better wake up from their dream before it becomes a nightmare. McCain has been there and done that. I want his hands on the switch when and if it becomes necessary to use it. I also want a jew as a Vice President because he would never forget the holocaust. Lord have mercy on us and GOD BLESS AMERICA.

Wright's church all those years and heard his pathetic message about how the white people are to blame for the black peoples problem. Does he really think he deserves to be in the White House. He is a poor excuse of someone who thinks he would be a leader. The United States was founded with Christians and trying their best to be destroyed by the Muslims.
The American people better wake up from their dream before it becomes a nightmare.

It's relevant ... whether or not it was satirical is debatable, but I can't help asking myself how much am I not my heritage, how much am I not my past. How much am I not democrat, how much am I not catholic, how much am I not Irish. How do you measure how much you are not?

I think obama looks great on the New Yorker cover. Relaxed, natural. Yep. It's just right.

Just so we have this straight:
We know that the New Yorker cartoon is harmful, because a Reagan administration official told a journalist that the American public essentially watches the news with a stuck mute button. Color me unconvinced.

I would still like to see Obama's birth certificate. Is that so much to ask?
Full disclosure would help me decide. Was his father married to his mother or was
he born to a single mom? Why the need to cover up his birth? Nice to know going forward.

LOL...Let me see...every McCain supporter chooses to highlight Obama's presumed weaknesses, including most important to most of you and your "ilk", Barack's lack of experience which leads you all to presume that he will not be able to pull the troops out of Iraq (remember that place, the place where President "Idiot" entrenched us to remake the Middle-East)...Stop trying to tell me that this is not about Bush's stupid war which has in short order: left America weaker in the Middle-East because Iran is so much stronger than ever in the region (answer that one you right-wing nut job? It' s either right or wrong)...Oh, and a funny thing happened on the way to war, we were not welcomed as liberators...The invasion/occupation I say again occupation, did NOT pay for itself...When you make your arguments come strong are not at all, cause your side has so much BS to answer for...I get so worked up because usually what arguments you have are just DUMB! DUMB! DUMB!...I could support McCain because honestly he was the strongest of the Republicans, but in an effort to placate those of you who are no longer shooting straight, McCain needs a proctologist to remove his lips from Bush's butt....When you respond, try to do so with intelligent arguments not what you or I believe, but what is true!!!...WBBJ/the wonk46

Well, well, so Pot finally meets Kettle, & the weenie whiney can-dish-it-out-but-can't-take-it Democrats are having a collective cow, & as the great Gleason said, "How SWEET it is." I don't know about you, but I'm enjoying every minute of this. Why did the chickens cross the road? To come home to roost with Democrats. For years now Progressives/Liberals/Leftists have laughed themselves silly over anti-Republican cartoons/photos to which the words "class" & "good taste" can in no way ever be applied. My favorites though are the ones re Condi Rice with their grotesquely distorted features, sexual innuendo, & how many times can they laugh over calling her "whore"? I guess that joke never gets old. My very favorite is the one which in so many words called Dr. Rice, N-----. Now THAT must have gotten the everybody-else-is-racist-but-us crowd rolling in the aisles. Rumor has it that Barack Obama is preparing a list of approved jokes that people will be allowed to tell about him. And perhaps a bit less condescension/scorn is in ordcer from the just-too-smart-even-for-ourselves bunch for average Americans. A brief perusal of progressive/etc. site postings on this issue will find comments along the lines of "Sure, WE get the satire (although many of us really don't), but the maroons in the flyover states won't because they're all so (fill in your own insult, there are plenty of them flying around these sites)." Well, we do get it & we don't see what any of the fuss is all about, but we are sitting back & having some fun with it.

Of course this cover will affect people's opinion and it was done on purpose. I think it's funny how they are using the excuse of satire. How about this then - let's have a cover with McCain on the front in an old folks home, in a diaper, being hand fed by a nurse. But they are still two different things. Obama and his wife are not Muslim terrorists, but McCain is too old for the presidency.
