Vincent D'Onofrio is long overdue for an Emmy Award. His performances never disappoints viewers who are actually drawn into the characters that Mr. D'Onofrio generates. Hopefully, someone other than myself is paying attention!
The Emmy nominations won't be announced until tomorrow, but there's no reason we can't be already be annoyed by the likely snubs.

I have to agree. D'Onofrio is one of the finest actors on television (or anywhere else for that matter). I get really tired of the same old actors always being nominated and winning when actors like D'Onofrio continued to get overlooked. It makes one truly question the integrity of the Academy of Arts & Sciences.
I am very pleased that Bryan Cranston was nominated for 'Breaking Bad'. He is absolutely amazing, and brings such depth and emotion to the role, it is a pleasure to watch his work.
Jim Parsons turns in consistently hilarious performances in 'The Big Bang Theory', and should have been nominated. After all, he was one of the highlights of 'Garden State', and has impeccable comic timing. Since Neil Patrick Harris snagged one for his performance in 'How I Met Your Mother', I really think Parsons deserved a nod. Perhaps next year.
The biggest snub of all is failing to nominate Katee Sackhoff from Battlestar Galactica! Not to mention Edward James Olmos, and James Callis who also gave outstanding performances. It's the best show on TV, and doesn't get the respect and attention it deserves!
I never thought in a million years I would ever say this, but I agree. My brother is an avid WOW player, anime watcher and well a typical "dork" (not to say I don't absolutely love him to death). So when he told me to watch Battlestar Galactica I laughed in his face. I put it in the group of "Star Trek" and other cult so-called "nerd" followings. Shame on me too, I'll admit it. I watched one episode with him and I was hooked! Never thought I would ever say that about such a show, but its good, damn good. Kudos to a series that can turn an anti-sci-fi person like me into a die hard fan!
Even Newsweek snubbed the greatest oversight of all: Brad Beyer, "Jericho," CBS. In a particularly heart-wrenching scene with deaf kid sister Bonnie (Shoshanna Stern), Beyer had viewers feeling every pinch of emotion, crying right along with him as he signed his goobyes and "thank you....thank you." I'll never forget Jericho, or the non-verbal acting brilliance between these two characters.
The continued oversight of Vincent D'Onofrio for Law and Order:Criminal Intent makes my blood boil. The actor never disappoints viewers with his performances. Long overdue for an award.
I won't be crying over any of these snubs.
Just a picky comment-the Primetime Emmys are handed out by ATAS, not NATAS (a separate organization that does the Daytime Emmys)
