Comment: Barack Obama is funded by some of the most powerful groups in the world.

If anyone does their research here, they will see that Barack Obama is funded by some of the most powerful groups in the world. Google, for example, was ranked as the 6th most powerful company in the U.S. The Goldman Sachs families like various other donors here are directly linked to the Rothschild Family, the most powerful family in the world. They created and own along with other foreign investors the Federal Reserve System. The Rothschilds were pivotal in the creation of the EU. Obama has the corporate interests backing him and this is undeniable. Here is a list of some of his highest donors. Cross reference these donors and you will see that it is irrefutable that Obama is backed by the most powerful and influential and has their interests in mind.

    Goldman Sachs $627,730
    University of California $523,120
    JPMorgan Chase & Co $398,021
    Citigroup Inc $393,899
    UBS AG $378,400
    Google Inc $373,212
    Harvard University $369,802
    Lehman Brothers $353,922
    National Amusements Inc $352,603
    Moveon.org $347,463
    Sidley Austin LLP $326,845
    Skadden, Arps et al $304,050
    Time Warner $298,972
    Morgan Stanley $291,388
    Microsoft Corp $276,925
    Jones Day $266,705
    Latham & Watkins $252,845
    University of Chicago $250,685
    Wilmerhale Llp $249,282
    Exelon Corp $239,061

Comment: What's up with this???? Must be a bunch of, bitter, uneducated, clinging to their guns and bibles, racists, moving to Ohio. OR...could it be.....people are starting to realize, that...
.............Hussein Obama is a crook and a fraud............................

John McCain has opened a modest lead over Barack Obama in the key swing state of Ohio. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in the Buckeye State shows McCain attracting 46% of the vote while Obama earns 40%. Last month and the month before McCain held a insignificant one-point lead over Obama.

Comment: Comment: Obama might as well say: Ich bin ein idiot. A portion of this nation has clearly lost its mind. Obama does not know anything about foreign affairs. He learned a lot from people who hate, however. Wake up America. Obama is a scam artist who has NO business being where he is. Give us a black President, no problem, but NOT this man. Here is the reality: Obama had a "close, personal, 20 year relationship" with a bigot named Reverand Wright......who is close friends with one of America's BIGGEST racists, Louis "I hate Jews and White Devils" Farakhan. Did Obama object when his OWN CHURCH gave Farakhan a lifetime achievement award? This is the conversation at the water coolers of the nation, folks. Most Jews and Hillary fans will NOT vote for Obama and the polls are showing it.
The Obama Fever is wearing thin. Gallop now shows a 6 point lead. Remember, John Kerry had a 6 point lead over George Bush in 2004.....and he lost in November. Same with Dukakis and Bush-1 in 1988....a double digit lead in July. And he got smoked in November.
This is the SAME nation that re-elected an unpopular President Bush during an unpopular war just 3 1/2 years ago. Translation? Watch it unfold and watch the accusations of racial bias when Obama loses. So predictable.- McCain will win in November.

Comment: Obamas cult is the DNC and it wages sevreal hate campaigns against good Americans. And due to this campaign the Congress, under DNC leadership, has got a repley from Americans!
Single digit approval! The American public has NO CONFIDENCE in the DNC-led Congress!
What we do not see the cult doing is trying to create conditions for an Obama victory in November by forfeiting their nasty little AMERICANS SUCK FIRST campaign with it's supporting sub-campaigns of hate and fear, and insults to the Americans who make this country work.
So the cult Obama leads is not following Obama! So, why should anyone else? He can't lead! His own cult agrees! Or the DNC members in congress would be doing a lot more to ensure conditions for an Obama victory rather than leaving it up to the American liberal news industry to do. Which worships him, like a cult figure indeed.

Comment: Belker I have a question? What cult does Obama lead? None. And is your precious Washington so stupid as to allow a real cult, terrorist supporter, muslim in their midst in the senate?? If that's the case then were already doomed.....and since you know its not keep trying to convice the world of your lies and come November you will see just how opposed America is to your fearmongering and intolerance of anything or anyone that truly wants to better America.

Comment: A sign the Obama campaign is in trouble.....
... No Network is declaring Obamas poll numbers "are going up."
The networks are such that if a daily quick poll or two showed a quivering 3 point improvment to Obamas' approval the "story " would be a '6 POINT" jump..so "significant!" ( Ohh...obama is going to win! ).
    Oh well...maybe by friday?
Otherwize, the DNC has Obama chained to it and he to the DNC, which has taken the approval and credibility of the US Congress so low people stopped showing up to Congressional subpoenas!
Ohhh, this is just too funny!
Maybe Obama would care to lecture the Europeans to all speak Mexican Spanish so he won't be embarrassed when a German says "how are you today , sir" in English. Or proclaim Esperanto is to be the worlds most sought after language, so the Espiranticans are not offended, over in their little country,there...
...wellll. Maybe Obama used to know where Espirantica is on the map!

The following report was written for TD/NQ by Techdude, who hurried to complete it after his tires were slashed and a mutilated rabbit was found hanging by his front door. He is currently working on another exclusive follow-on report.

Who threatened Techdude, and why? And if his findings are correct, why did Barack Obama publish a fake Certificate of Live Birth (COLB) on his own website, FightTheSmears, and on DailyKos?

Well, well, well....what's up with this??? We will all find out soon. Check out the entire investigation.

Comment: McCain has studied the methods to be used in winning in Iraq He took a stand against Rumsfeldt's methods and suggested a new method of action. The surge that McCain suggested has been very successful. The Iraq government has met 15 of the 18 benchmarks demanded by the Congress. Deadly fighting is almost non-existant. Combat troops may be pulled out soon as a result.
    ON THE OTHER HAND
Obama strongly opposed the surge that McCain recommended. He even stated that the Iraq government couldn't meet even one of fhe benchmarks set by the Congress. If we had listened to Obama, Iraq would be back in the hands of terrorist control instead of a nearly peaceful country.
NOW Obama is on his "Cliff Notes" trip to Iraq and acting as if he is responsible for all the success in Iraq. He is such a FAKE.Obama is that guy that critcizes co workers as they diligently research and work overtime on a project and then when the project is successful....he wants to claim credit for it. Do we want someone like that as our President?????????? I think not.

Comment: The so call "good Americans" have really begun to reveal themselves as "real racists". All the things that Obama does well you try to use against him. He has alot of respect in the international community and people want to speak with him, hear his ideas, and follow his lead. Journalists want to see what he has to say and monitor his decisions and movements. Now if McCain received that same sort of attention and reception in the international community right-wingers would simply say he is a "beacon of American greatness and light to the rest of the world!" Blah, blah, blah. and there would be nothing wrong with that. I am prould to be an American and proud of our leadership and the respect we receive whomever it may be that represents us properly. Bottom line is this.....like with Martin Luther King, Jr., Malcolm X, or any great black man that makes an effort to be a PART of active government that is responsible leadership is constantly bombarded with criticism to discredit to a level that will only allow the person to serve at a level below A white man. Nothing lasts forever.....you'll see. All over the world "white" is becoming the color or race of distrust. All nations are beginning to see the disgusting way the majority believe in beating, killing, stealing, raping and almost destroying other people and races and then at last minute putting a bandade on the situation and hailing yourselves as saviors and liberators. It is the current leadership and mentality that has made the world want to go against America. I know were better, we know we're better, why not show the world? Because America doesn't want to be the best unless that best

    • Posted By: lillea @ 07/21/2008 2:14:43 PM

Comment: Actually, teachers have to "student teach" under a watchful eye of an expert before ever being working as a fulltime teacher. Doctors have to work as an intern under the watchful eye of an expert before practicing on their own. Teachers don't come from a law background, take a cliff note course in teaching and decide they are a teacher. Doctors don't come from a law background, take a cliff note course in medicine and decide they are a doctor. Our government requires additional training specifically in these areas. NOW on the other hand, lawyers can take a cliff notes course and announce they are Senators and House Reps....no official training. That kind of explains how we get what we get in Washington DC.

Yet with all that I personnly disagree with I still believe. I have freinds the same way, I can even say that with my parents yet I still love them and admire them. Sometimes the sum is greater than its' parts. What I hope to hear from the media is the plans the two contenders put forth and really get back to the issues.

Comment: Obama first introduced legislation for a fixed withdrawal plan on January 30, 2007. According to that plan, all combat brigades would have been out of Iraq by March 31, 2008; that???s 14 months???more or less the same time frame he proposes now. He would have been wrong. Iraq would have seen chaos, not calm and not political reconciliation. That plan would have ensured a monumental historic defeat for the U.S. and a civilian slaughter of biblical proportions in Iraq. If in January 2007, you had asked Nouri al-Maliki how he felt about a 14-month U.S. withdrawal timetable, he would have thought you were mad.

Comment: hindsight is always 20/20...You know as well as I do that circumstances could have gone either way at the time. You conveniently forget about Bushies "Mission Accomplished!" Even McCain believed in that! I'll take Barack's judgment over McCain's experience any day.

      • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 07/21/2008 1:56:30 AM

Comment: Of course you would. You just don't want to admit that Obama was wrong, his pull out strategy would have failed, Iraq would be in the toilet all for what? So he could say see I told you so? Trying to score some political points by letting Iraqis die? The Dems have been hoping that another attack on the US by Al-Qaeda for years now, they have been hoping for Iraq to fail for 6 years now....just so they could score some political points....its disgusting.
Hindsight.....yeah Obama seems to be using quite frequently. Trying to make everyone forget what he originally wanted....Obama was wrong, face it. Obama was wrong on the Surge, he even took it off his website. He is wrong on Iraq, he is wrong on energy and he is wrong on FISA, he is wrong on faith based initiatives.... he is just wrong.
McCain is no saint, he has plenty of skeletons in his closet, but he has superior judgment on military, foreign policy, and energy policies.....

        • Posted By: yupik1 @ 07/22/2008 3:44:33 AM

Comment: Just like you won't admit that Bushie's Mission Accomplished was HUGELY embarrassing for the U.S. Iraq was in the toilet as soon as Bushie gave the orders to attack. You don't care about those black African children in Darfur, so why bother showing some concern for those Iraqis. Even the Iraqis want us out by 2010, McCain's economic advisor Pill Gramm gave us high oil prices when they de-regulated the oil market, I would trust Obama's judgment on handling FISA better than Bushie and McCain anyday. Bushie had a huge potential with enabling faith based initiatives and he blew it big time...Obama will get it right because he's just light years ahead of McShame who doesn't even know that Iraq does not share a border with Afghanistan, and thinks that Al-qaeda is in Iran....I guess he has superior judgement compared to your intelligence..IDIOT!

Comment: Sen. McCain slammed Sen. Obama for not visiting Iraq for a couple of years, saying Sen. Obama doesn't know what's happening 'on the ground' in Iraq. Sen. Obama knew before he went to Iraq that it was a mistake for the USA to go to war in Iraq and he's repeatedly said he'll end the war in Iraq and bring American troops home within 16 months.

Sen. McCain thinks it's fine to have American troops in Iraq for 'maybe 100 years, if 'they're not being shot at.' Newsflash. Americans continue to die in Iraq and will as long as they are there.
How many died in Iraq this week? How many more will die before it's over? For what?

You think Sen Obama's trip to Afghanistan and Iraq is a 'series of photo ops in another country," not 'a qualification for anything.' The most important qualification for any President of the United States of America is to keep the USA out of unnecessary war.

      • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 07/20/2008 7:12:28 PM

Comment: Then you haven't been listening to Obama lately.
After meeting with the Democratic presidential candidate inside the US base in Jalalabad, Afghan warlord turned provincial governor Gul Agha Sherzai told reporters, "Obama promised us that if he becomes a president in the future, he will support and help Afghanistan not only in its security sector but also in reconstruction, development and economic sector."
SO by your own assessment Obama isn't qualified. He is going to get us into a mess in Afghanistan which is a NATO lead operation. And he wants to invade Pakistan too....
Here's a newsflash for ya....McCain wants us out of Iraq too. Only he wants to make sure the job is done first, not quit like Obama.

By that reasoning all Christians are evil too look at the Spanish inquisition or Salem witch trials for examples....its not the religion...it's the nut jobs that use religion to further there own political ideals. Separation of Church and State....that's the only way to keep those nut jobs out.....
That's why Obama scares me.... I don't know WTF he will do in office when it come to religion...look at his church of 20 years....who says he won't bring nut jobs like Wright on as advisers or policy makers....I don't want crazies like Wright or Pfleger having ANY say in what I can and can't do....They are of the same line that burned witches and stoned people for not believing in the same pack of lies that they say they believe in...

Comment: Show me a priest, rev, pastor, rabbie etc or anything, that has said things his entire life that people have always agreed with? This Wright thing bugs me. What we saw was clips of what he said over many many years, out of context and all bundled into one. I go to church every week and don't always agree with what is said, it doesn't stop me going, but still it doesn't mean it's my personal view. Nor does it mean I'm going to follow anyone blindly. I can be best friends with people and not agree with their ideals...Wright has done many great things for America - that's why he was so popular, even politically, before even Obama came along, and before all of this blew up. I'm sure if you listened non-stop to every leader/policy maker/religious guide you wouldn't agree with what they said.

Sorry obama but you get a D+ not quite a failing grade but close to it. he is most unpricincipled and blows with the wind of percieved public opinion. you cannot be all things to all people. principled individuals take a stand. in the end he will be another george mcgovern who lost by a landslide after being touted as a winner thru the "youth" vote.

In the eyes of the wise and independent thinkers, Senator Obama has already passed that test. It is with short-sighted political ideologues and Limbaugh/Hannity ditto-heads that the struggle remains for Obama to illustrate his world-class leadership skills. The ditto-heads resistance is often fueled by unfounded fears and masked hatred.

Senator Barack Obama impresses me as a very WISE leader, and with good logic & smarts to boot. These are virtues not seen in a U.S President for a very long time. McCain is too reckless and quick-tempered to match Obama's good judgment which is tempered with wisdom. If McCain was to win the presidency, he would not only exacerbate the Iraq & mid-east mess brought on by Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld; he would also worsen the Nation's energy & economic woes.

Senator Obama has already proven his metal when he stood alone as a lowly field mouse against the vaunted EXPERINCES of hawks like McCain and Cheney, and audaciously pronounced the Iraq offensive as foolish and atrociously conceived. McCain waited 4-years until 3,500 soldiers were killed and $400-billion was spent before he began to register real complaints about the direction of the war.

For Independent thinkers with a love for wisdom, its pretty clear Senator Obama is "The Chosen One". Wisdom dictates Obama should be the next Commander-in-Chief to return U.S. from its chaotic stupor back to the hope of the world. But whether the uneducated Billy Bob's of West Virginia or the 65-year old Iris O'Shaughnessy of Pennsylvania sees it that way is between GOD and the uneducated Wal-Mart shopping ditto-heads West Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

In light of this why should kids go to college and wait 4 or more years for a degree...this doesn't create immediate results.
The guy is SO inconsistant in his reasoning. He depends ENTIRELY on circumstanscial ethics. The only things that work are the things that benefit him personally. America would never survive a presidency under his leadership. We need someone with core values and shows some consistancy.

Comment: Well. To make more short and powerful statement here, just try to draw a picture of McBush coming same places. ( in fact - he did).
The WORLD would be indifferent. ( And it was). And will, and will.
It is our media, who develops that Tale about a hero. Come on. That's where from he was watching the war. So , how much could he see? And HOW that qualified him for Commander???s role?
No more, than washing dishes experience qualified someone to run First Class restaurant,
You name it other parallels. just last week we saw those people released from Cambodia. So - did they get experience ALSO to pretend to be Commander? We heard, what did the see. Do You really propose it matters? To lead the World? After 6 years isolation out of the World ?T hat is to show how much experience McBush got from Vietnam war. He missed that war. So where GOP is trying to refer ??? to that little window of prisoner? (With all respect to courage of his and those Cambodia prisoners).
That is why , from a Distance the World is NOT confirming ANY ability of McBush to lead, to win and to be taken into account in World Politics. He just has NO records for that. No experience and NO Judgment, that were confirmed with further development ??? in most he was wrong. That is why he dooes not have role in Global politics and No One expects him to get it.
    Period.

But if you want to Swift Boat some politician make sure he is LIEING about his military service first! And about being captuered and going threw no small amount of hell, McCain and his fellow POWs are not lieing or liars!
Those camps? Seems you don't like the military very much. Senator Kerry joined a discrimination campaign against vets and serving Armed forces members and when discrimination campaigns are waged the truth and facts get dismissed! Kerry lied.
And if McCain was a POW at one time, why would anyone be upset about that?

    • Posted By: Galasso @ 07/19/2008 2:54:19 PM

Comment: Where has it been stated that McCain's time in a prison camp "qualifies" him to be the Commander in Chief? McCain has a complete military career plus the Naval Academy and a family legacy in the military which all total in itself does not "qualify" him to be the Cdr in Chief either. But it does give him the broad historical and institutional background to make the right decisions when using military force. This will also be important in sustainment and refitting after the drawdown in both theaters. Obama is just now discovering the military and some of his rhetoric like "I will stop all future weapons development" in one of his first addresses on the subject demonstrated his lack of understanding in how the country is defended. McCain would be the first President who retired from active military service since Dwight Eisenhower. Even if he only serves one term, it would be appropriate for that kind of experience in the interim period between the cessation of the involvement overseas and a peacetime Army. I believe he fully intends to end the war in Iraq but there will have to be a residual force for the Diplomatic Corp and possible training scenarios for the Iraqis much like we have in other countries. McCain't time in a prison camp may not "qualify" him to be POTUS but it certainly does give him gravitas in the decision making process when it comes to military troop deployments - something Obama is sorely lacking.

      • Posted By: C. MacLean @ 07/20/2008 12:11:56 PM

Comment: You have it backwards - being in the military gives one the historical and institutional background to make all the WRONG decisions when using military force.

All McCain can see is military solutions. He was a fine warrior, (emphasis on WAS) in the best sense of the word, but that isn't what we need in 2008 - we no longer live in a world where our military power alone will get the job done.

Obama isn't perfect, but he has a bigger view of how the world interconnects. And he understands that we cannot separate our domestic policies from our foreign policies, or our economic policies from our national security policies.

McCain thinks if we win a military victory, everything else will follow accordingly, but this is not 1945.

McCain was a war hero, and we owe him a great debt for his sacrifice, but that doesn't include awarding him the presidency.

I don't want a warrior in the white house; I want someone who sees the bigger picture.

The pay-offs are costing the taxpayers over a quarter billion dollars per year, although that's just lunch money compared to what has been wasted in the Iraq quagmire in the past 5 years as Al Qaeda gathered strength in Afghanistan and Pakistan (which DOES have weapons of mass destruction, by the way.)

McCain "rightly" attacked Obama only in your biased corporate media opinion, All that can be gathered on such trips are anecdotal evidence about what's going on.

And McCain, despite his many trips to Iraq, still doesn't know the difference between Sunni and Shia. That goes to show that it doesn't matter how many places a politician if he's more interested in warmongering than in learning about the culture of the countries he visits. The events in Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan prove that Obama has learned more about what's going on in the world while staying at home than McCain has in all his taxpayer-funded junketeering.

This line of attack on Obama is really stupid, so I'm not surprised the corporate media are starting to parrot it.

But the 2007 surge debate is the single most important strategic judgement he has had to make on the more serious state as a Presidential candidate. He vocally opposed the surge. Without the surge and a new counterinsurgency strategy, the U,S. would have suffered a humiliating defeat in Iraq. Yet Now Mr Obama wants to ignore that judgement, the campaign erased from its Web site. It would be nice if Mr. Obama could at least get his facts straight. All through out the primary and now on to the general election Obama has shown over and over how he lacks good judgement.

Bush on May 1, 2003 . Now McCain says "we've succeeded". Uh-huh and what will McCain say 5 years from now about Iraq if he is elected president? I imagine it'll be something like "Mission" is continuing to "Succeed". Once you enter into the devil's playpen you'll be forever obligated to win your way out of "hell". Terrorism is not a state, a region nor a place. It is a mindset and all the U.S. military we have to offer cannot change the mindset that is terrorism. Obama has the right vision for the U.S.A. McCain does not because he has the same vision as Bush "win at any cost" even if it takes "a 100 years". Oh and this war was all in the name of taming terrorism? No sir, this war was orchestrated by Dick Cheney, George W. Bush and their cronies, all for the sake of oil. McCain is an appendage of the Cheney-Bush legacy.

Comment: McCain, R-Ariz., the top Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee, has attended zero of his committee's six hearings on Afghanistan over the last two years.

Meanwhile, Obama attended the full Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on Afghanistan in March 2007, although he used the opportunity to ask Gen. James L. Jones, then the commander of NATO, about Pakistan.

Jones also came before the Senate Armed Services Committee that week. But McCain was a no-show.

The findings are surprising given the fact that the McCain campaign loudly criticized Obama this week for failing to schedule any hearings on Afghanistan in the last year and a half. Obama chairs the European Affairs Subcommittee of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, which has oversight of military operations in Afghanistan.

Comment: I suppose the difference is that McCain actually went to Afghanistan whereas Obama is just now finding it on the map and is now being forced by the campaign to make these travels to the places he has heretofore used as talking points and props. Given his complete lack of knowledge and experience with regards to the US Military, he will be drinking out of a firehose when he is briefed on what is required to sustain an Army in the field. It's easy to get on the evening news and make broad statements about foreign policy and intentions. It's quite another thing to go to the desert and look the troops in the eye and say the same things. Obama is a smart guy - no doubt - and the press will hail him as having "closed the gap" with McCain on foreign policy based on one very brief overseas trip. That seems to be the modern standard for "experience". One thing is obvious however, and that is neither candidate views meetings with a dysfunctional Congress in committee on Iraq or Afghanistan as worthy of their time.

Comment: Let's not kid ourselves, Underlying Michael Hirsh's unease with an Obama presidency has to do with his unease that Obama would not be hawkish (warlike) enough in his foreign policy. However, it is Bush-boy and his puppet master Cheney who has actually weakened our country by overreaching -- bombing countries in the Middle East; actions that have earned us disdain around the world and nearly bankrupted our own eonomcy at home.

Comment: The choice is clear. Oppose Bush - McCain and Iraq vote Obama. Obama has nothing to prove on foreign policy judgement, McCain does.
