I would like to go on record with 3 predictions
1 McCain wins by a landslide
2 Although blacks vote for McCain 1% as polls show whites vote for Obama 46% and whites will be labeled racist.
    3. All you Obama sheep will claim that McCain STOLE the election even after Obama refused to let Mich and Fla vote in the primaries.
    Keep watchin...................

The so call "good Americans" have really begun to reveal themselves as "real racists". All the things that Obama does well you try to use against him. He has alot of respect in the international community and people want to speak with him, hear his ideas, and follow his lead. Journalists want to see what he has to say and monitor his decisions and movements. Now if McCain received that same sort of attention and reception in the international community right-wingers would simply say he is a "beacon of American greatness and light to the rest of the world!" Blah, blah, blah. and there would be nothing wrong with that. I am prould to be an American and proud of our leadership and the respect we receive whomever it may be that represents us properly. Bottom line is this.....like with Martin Luther King, Jr., Malcolm X, or any great black man that makes an effort to be a PART of active government that is responsible leadership is constantly bombarded with criticism to discredit to a level that will only allow the person to serve at a level below A white man. Nothing lasts forever.....you'll see. All over the world "white" is becoming the color or race of distrust. All nations are beginning to see the disgusting way the majority believe in beating, killing, stealing, raping and almost destroying other people and races and then at last minute putting a bandade on the situation and hailing yourselves as saviors and liberators. It is the current leadership and mentality that has made the world want to go against America. I know were better, we know we're better, why not show the world? Because America doesn't want to be the best unless that best

Who the hell are you to tell anyone they are a racist again?
Oh yeah, A high and mighty liberal.............
Again trying to tell everyone what they can do and should do........
      Or their racist LMAO
      And the sheep says BAhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Stay off the kool aide, Just say no!

Sportlock so when was McCain president? We hire Teachers, doctors, Engineers, builders and everyother profession with no experince every day or do you believe they got all their experence in kindergarden?

    • Posted By: lillea @ 07/21/2008 2:14:43 PM

Actually, teachers have to "student teach" under a watchful eye of an expert before ever being working as a fulltime teacher. Doctors have to work as an intern under the watchful eye of an expert before practicing on their own. Teachers don't come from a law background, take a cliff note course in teaching and decide they are a teacher. Doctors don't come from a law background, take a cliff note course in medicine and decide they are a doctor. Our government requires additional training specifically in these areas. NOW on the other hand, lawyers can take a cliff notes course and announce they are Senators and House Reps....no official training. That kind of explains how we get what we get in Washington DC.

      • Posted By: SPORTLOCK09 @ 07/21/2008 4:12:12 PM

Thank you for shining some light on this very dim man. See how he was speaking as if he actually knew something, and then when someone points out how things actually work, all you hear is crickets. Just another hypocrite, race baiting , fear mongering, kool aide drinking SHEEP.
        Nobaaaaaaaaaaaaama!

  • Posted By: kirt @ 07/21/2008 1:38:19 PM

Curt this Kirt agrees with you. I heard all types of statements coming out of the church over the last fifty yers and some were pretty bad. Yet with all that I personnly disagree with I still believe. I have freinds the same way, I can even say that with my parents yet I still love them and admire them. Sometimes the sum is greater than its' parts. What I hope to hear from the media is the plans the two contenders put forth and really get back to the issues.

  • Posted By: lillea @ 07/21/2008 11:22:04 AM

Would someone please tell the liberal media that we have all seen the movie "Wag the Dog." This is REAL life and we are REAL people , this is a REAL country in a REAL world and we need a REAL president, not one that has been "created" by the liberals. Now lets get some REAL solutions to some very REAL problems and stop playing games.

    • Posted By: NO OOOOOOOOO @ 07/21/2008 12:56:41 PM

Amen, lillea. Sometimes I think if I hear the word OBAMA again I will surely scream. It is so pathetic how the media are pushing him so hard...kind of obvious, huh? I never thought I would see the likes of something like this happening in America. God bless America because if Obama is elected, she's sure going to need all the blessings she can get.

  • Posted By: Tom_G @ 07/20/2008 1:23:54 PM

I don't really know how serious people can look at a series of photo ops in another country as a qualification for anything. The whole thing is absurd and the fact that the evening news is doing there nightly broadcast from Obama locations should be troubling for everyone regardless of political ideology.

    • Posted By: elizabethpaige @ 07/20/2008 4:45:54 PM

Sen. McCain slammed Sen. Obama for not visiting Iraq for a couple of years, saying Sen. Obama doesn't know what's happening 'on the ground' in Iraq. Sen. Obama knew before he went to Iraq that it was a mistake for the USA to go to war in Iraq and he's repeatedly said he'll end the war in Iraq and bring American troops home within 16 months.

Sen. McCain thinks it's fine to have American troops in Iraq for 'maybe 100 years, if 'they're not being shot at.' Newsflash. Americans continue to die in Iraq and will as long as they are there.
How many died in Iraq this week? How many more will die before it's over? For what?

You think Sen Obama's trip to Afghanistan and Iraq is a 'series of photo ops in another country," not 'a qualification for anything.' The most important qualification for any President of the United States of America is to keep the USA out of unnecessary war.

      • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 07/20/2008 7:12:28 PM

Then you haven't been listening to Obama lately.
After meeting with the Democratic presidential candidate inside the US base in Jalalabad, Afghan warlord turned provincial governor Gul Agha Sherzai told reporters, "Obama promised us that if he becomes a president in the future, he will support and help Afghanistan not only in its security sector but also in reconstruction, development and economic sector."
SO by your own assessment Obama isn't qualified. He is going to get us into a mess in Afghanistan which is a NATO lead operation. And he wants to invade Pakistan too....
Here's a newsflash for ya....McCain wants us out of Iraq too. Only he wants to make sure the job is done first, not quit like Obama.

        • Posted By: TheTestTubeMinds @ 07/20/2008 8:34:59 PM

people who think the pull out method will work. are the same who end up with the same problem they KNEW was going to happend. AMERICA HAS PULLE DOUT BEFORE and each time the mess was bigger. if we can pull out then line are boarders with missles and are soldiers then I'd be all aobut it. because thats what its going to take and kicking out every muslim.

          • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 07/21/2008 2:01:03 AM

I hate people that think all Muslims are evil. By that reasoning all Christians are evil too look at the Spanish inquisition or Salem witch trials for examples....its not the religion...it's the nut jobs that use religion to further there own political ideals. Separation of Church and State....that's the only way to keep those nut jobs out.....
That's why Obama scares me.... I don't know WTF he will do in office when it come to religion...look at his church of 20 years....who says he won't bring nut jobs like Wright on as advisers or policy makers....I don't want crazies like Wright or Pfleger having ANY say in what I can and can't do....They are of the same line that burned witches and stoned people for not believing in the same pack of lies that they say they believe in...

            • Posted By: ZCurt @ 07/21/2008 12:06:50 PM

Show me a priest, rev, pastor, rabbie etc or anything, that has said things his entire life that people have always agreed with? This Wright thing bugs me. What we saw was clips of what he said over many many years, out of context and all bundled into one. I go to church every week and don't always agree with what is said, it doesn't stop me going, but still it doesn't mean it's my personal view. Nor does it mean I'm going to follow anyone blindly. I can be best friends with people and not agree with their ideals...Wright has done many great things for America - that's why he was so popular, even politically, before even Obama came along, and before all of this blew up. I'm sure if you listened non-stop to every leader/policy maker/religious guide you wouldn't agree with what they said.

  • Posted By: StellaCA @ 07/19/2008 7:13:50 AM

While Mr. Obama attempts a remedial course in foreign relations within a campaign of European public relations, the American people know better than to buy this steaming heap of propaganda.

    We remember JFK.
    We remember RFK
    And we remember Dr. King.

Mr. Obama, sir? You are not one of them. Not even close.

Who do you take us for, anyway?

So stop trying to ride their coattails every which way with your feigned "statesmanship," rolled white shirtsleeves, retro-stylized PR, and weekly reinventions.

Run a campaign on substance, not subliminals.

    In fact...

Try developing a legacy of your OWN instead.

    What a concept.

    • Posted By: RO in Reno @ 07/19/2008 9:51:03 AM

Actually Obame is as close to JFK as any candidate since JFK, and he has been capared favorably to JFK
What Gov Bill Richardson said "Obama is a once in a life time politician" really caught my attention and should catch yours as well.
Obama is indeed the instrument of change, and I hope he can return the USA to what the USA should be, he's made it clear that is his intent..

      • Posted By: SPORTLOCK09 @ 07/19/2008 11:14:27 AM

Well lets see what he's done for race relations so far amoung the black community..
Polls show a mere 1% of the ENTIRE black population will vote for McCain the white guy.
Is this change we can believe in? 44% of white America will vote for Obama.
Yet Obama says nothing of the media reports that white America is racist and will not vote for a black man.
1% to 44% Hmmmm Who are the racist senator? Would you dare challege your black voters to vote based off of substance and not race? Why do you throw your 2 cents at everything race related other then when it does not benefit you? JFK? Give me a break. Politician? 100% correct Just like the rest of em. What flavor is the kool aide today?

        • Posted By: the-commish @ 07/19/2008 8:53:05 PM

Your stats are a bit skewed. Approximately 90% of black voters will vote for Obama. That's not racist, since about 90% of black voters always vote for the Democrat anyway. You have not proven anything, except that Obama will get the same percentage any Democrat would get.

          • Posted By: SPORTLOCK09 @ 07/21/2008 9:31:41 AM

Skewed? I beg to differ. When he was running against HILARY CLINTON (yes, a democrat!) a WHITE DEMOCRAT at that. He pulled 94% of the black vote. So apparently your numbers/thought process is outdated. And what makes it worse is he pulled 94% against a CLINTON for crying out loud. Remember who was the first black president? I'll help you out, it started with a B and ended with an ill.

        • Posted By: elizabethpaige @ 07/19/2008 12:41:10 PM

As if you care about race relations.

          • Posted By: SPORTLOCK09 @ 07/19/2008 1:44:19 PM

Seems you only care when it is whitey who is racist. Why no crying about black racism?

    • Posted By: elizabethpaige @ 07/19/2008 10:51:58 AM

Sen. Obama is not trying to be JFK, RFK or Dr. King, nor should he. Sen. Obama is his own man:
patriotic, well-educated, decent and intelligent. Not what you want in a president? Well, how much longer can the USA afford 'shock and awe'?

  • Posted By: SAGG @ 07/19/2008 10:41:16 PM

  • Posted By: nopartyaffiliation123 @ 07/18/2008 5:59:11 PM

Blah blah blah. Here is the important question that should be asked:
When you have the support of 35% of Whites, 65% of Hispanics, 94% of Blacks and 80% of foreign born citizens, what happens in an American election?
Answer, you win by a landslide. Sorry McDepression supporters, no smears will be enough this time, get used to it. America has learned...

    • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 07/18/2008 9:18:55 PM

So where is this landslide? The Gallup and Ras both have Obama ahead by ONE point, well withing the margin of error.

      • Posted By: OBWan @ 07/18/2008 9:51:10 PM

Check out the state polling - if the election was today Sen. Obama would have 322 electoral votes.

        • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 07/18/2008 10:36:23 PM

Oh so yeah, only the polls that how Obama in the lead are the "real" ones. If that were the case, McCain would be running against Kerry not Obama because Kerry had the lead in those polls back in 2004.

          • Posted By: Nor-Cal for Obama @ 07/19/2008 2:04:10 AM

Zombie, if you do your homework you would see that state polls have been far more accurate then muddy national polls for the past 50 years.

            • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 07/21/2008 2:19:52 AM

No your missing my point....if you look at the generic Dem vs GOP polls, the Dems have a huge advantage....so why doesn't that translate to Barry? Where is his huge advantage....Hills had it over McCain...I have said over and over again these summer polls are meaningless....most of the time the person on the lower end wins anyway....but that doesn't change the fact that Barry is running way behind in where he should be in a "Democratic year." Why? Because the DNC picked the wrong candidate....and since they picked Barry for us....me and a slew of other Dems have decided to vote for the guy we trust more...which is not Barry....

          • Posted By: OBWan @ 07/19/2008 8:22:17 AM

Zombie - not so Sen. McCain would have 217 electoral. And yes, you can see the Bob Barr (Libertarian) effect in some states, that does not get reported on the national poll (except as the 8% missing). You can also, see the trending from solids, lean and toss-up - on both sides.

Obama sat in Rev Wright's chruch for 20 years listening to hate and never thought to tell him that anti-white hatred doesn't havea place in church...or by the way the idea that the U.S. Government created AIDS is NUTS. Faced with the political problem of Rev Wright Obama decided to out his Grandmother as a racist. How about the fact that he can't admit that he was wrong about the surge. That it has won the war in Iraq and declaring defeat and surrendering Iraq to Al Qaeda at this point is absolutely crazy. The thought of Obama as commander in chief resonsible for defending us poor bitter, gun toting, bible thumping working class peasants scares the hell out of me!

This kind thinking is exactly what's going to destroy America. Barack Obama is the most laughably unqualified candidate to be Commander-In-Chief in my lifetime, which dates back to Dwight Eisenhower (just barely). No amount of photo-ops in front of the Branenburg Gate is gonna change that fact. The reason the polls are tightening is simple: The American public is starting to get over its initial fascination with Barack Obama and they're now asking question and looking underneath the hood to see what's really there. And what they're finding is an old school, far left liberal who's dangerously inexperienced. McCain will win in November.

    • Posted By: mit kase @ 07/19/2008 1:07:28 AM

Wrong. George W. Bush was the most laughably unqualified candidate to be commander-in-chief in our lifetimes. Twice. And he won. Twice.

      • Posted By: SPORTLOCK09 @ 07/19/2008 11:22:28 AM

Actually GWB did infact have more qualifications then Obama. He was a governor. Do you understand the role of a governor? Or do you suggest voting present with a half a term as a senator experience?

Can someone please tell me what war he has ever won?

Macsame keeps telling the american people. "Obama needs to go to Iraq before he states his positions."

Did Maccain go to Iraq to see what was going on, on the ground before he voted to take America to war?

NO....He even refused to allow any more verification of wepons of mass destruction being in Iraq.

    Macsame is full of it!

He truely is as untrustworthy as Bush and Chaney!

This trip is about vision and McCain can NOT begin to see Obama's vision for the Middle East or the United States and its standing in the world. He's simply been in Washington too long, his breadth of thought limited to the confines of traditional Washington thinking. He's in the past not the future.

And experience? Experience isn't worth one dime without having the ability to formulate the correct judgement. The ability to formulate the correct judgement. always trumps so called experience. McCain certainly has longevity but that doesn't necessarily equate to appropriate experience and it certainly doesn't equate to having sage judgement. Too many ASSUME experience equals wisdom. It does NOT,

    • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 07/18/2008 10:47:50 PM

Of course not to forget Obama's superior judgment that the Surge, would and could never work and was doomed to fail...

      • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 07/18/2008 10:49:39 PM

"The problem ??? the Surge: The goal of the surge was to create space for Iraq's political leaders to reach an agreement to end Iraq's civil war. At great cost, our troops have helped reduce violence in some areas of Iraq, but even those reductions do not get us below the unsustainable levels of violence of mid-2006. Moreover, Iraq's political leaders have made no progress in resolving the political differences at the heart of their civil war." ---Barry Obama on his website BEFORE he wiped it clean.

        • Posted By: elizabethpaige @ 07/19/2008 11:04:19 AM

American troops had no business invading Iraq in 2003 is what Sen. Obama has said and is still saying. Was al Qaeda in Iraq before 2003? Was there a civil war in Iraq before 2003? Surge, schmurge. Get a grip. Sen. Obama is right on this.

          • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 07/20/2008 7:23:50 PM

Keep telling yourself that. It's easier than admitting your wrong.
The Surge is working. Iraq's asking for a troop reduction is a prime example of what it has accomplished. If Obama got his way and had the troops pulled out in March, like he ORIGNIALLY wanted...Back in January 2007, Obama introduced legislation to block the surge and begin a withdrawal, saying, "I cannot in good conscience support this escalation. It is a policy which has already been tried and a policy which has failed." He never would have been able to make this Iraq trip. Now he refuses to admit that he was wrong, just like BUSH. For all the Bush bashing, the Dems do, you fail to see all the similar personality traits between Bush and Obama.
I agree that we had no business going in. We never should have, but my philosophy, like Colin Powell, is that if you break something you have to fix it. That's what John McCain has been a advocate for, a responsible, phased withdrawal only when we have achieve victory, not just militarily but politically as well.
Obama's philosophy is we break it, but we should never have broken it, so I refuse to fix it. Unless Obama pulls a time machine out of his butt, you CAN'T change the fact that Iraq was broken, and now we are on the verge of fixing it, even with Obama's and the rest of the Dems refusal to have any part of it. That's fine, but don't try to take credit for it. Obama has a history of trying to take credit when he had no part of it.

          • Posted By: the-commish @ 07/19/2008 9:13:07 PM

Actually, there were a few al Queda members in Iraq before the invasion, but Saddam's security forces made sure that they could not do ANYTHING. Saddam was in a box (no fly zones south of the 33rd and north of the 36th parallel). The UN Weapons Inspec tors found and destroyed all of Iraq's weapons of mass destruction, including the supergun. There was no reason to believe that Iraq still possessed any such weapons, except Chalaby kept telling anyone who would listen that Saddam still had the capability of wreaking havoc.

Of course, Chalaby wanted to be prime minister of a post-Saddam Iraq. When the Bust administration found out that Chalaby was just stringing them along for his own purposes, they made sure that Chalaby would never achieve his aims.

That's not all Bush got wrong. The administration told the Kurds to align themselves with the Shia and against the Sunnis at the beginning of the occupation, thus opening the door wide for Iranian influence in Iraq. When Bush finally realized this, they went back to the Kurds, and asked them to support the Sunnis instead. But it was too late by then.As far as the surge is concerned, Bush simply paid off Sunni leaders to turn their anger from American occupation to the al Queda in Iraq faction, whom they quickly eliminated. But they have not silenced al Sadr and his militia, and the Maliki government has not pacified them either. We will likely hear from Shia militias again before long. So while overall security is better now, the political situation is nowhere near resolved.

Obama is still correct on this, and that it has distracted us from the real enemy. Ask commanders in
Afghanistan what they think of al Queda and the Taliban now!

      • Posted By: yupik1 @ 07/19/2008 4:46:43 AM

The surge is STILL a HUGE BLUNDER!!!! It's a HUGE FAILURE because we're spending $$BILLIONS$$ a month just to maintain it. Our opponent in Iraq is spending less than pennies on the dollar compared to what we're spending. We're only there to keep KBR swimming in money. Bush is just a Cheney puppet! Wake up out of your trance Zombie!

    • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 07/18/2008 10:46:11 PM

And too many people equate Change with something good. Obama hasn't shown any superior judgment on anything so far....just more of the same left wing ideology that never didn't anything in the first place but let those rich liberal fat cats get richer. How does his dealings with Rezko, Wright, Pfleger, Jim Johnson, Goldsbee constitute superior judgment? Or his initial opposition to telecom immunity and promise to filibuster, only to break his promise constitute superior judgment?

This is a zombie comment, meaning with no substance and dead ! Obama has a vision for america that Mcsame does not even come close to see. America (the bush administration) is starting to make moves toward iran and putting more troops in afghanistan, which obama has envisioned years ago. All these other Rev right or Jim johnson are irrelevant and useless distractions.

Distractions? Are you really sane? If McCain was hanging out with the clan for 20 yrs im sure you would find this relevant. Hypocrite

Anything that doesn't show Barry in a positive light are "Distractions" for his crew of followers. They don't like people thinking for themselves, they just want the group to think for them. It's indicative of how are society is becoming, it really sad.

If the meteoric rise of a great man, Mr. Obama, with all his book-learning and world travel and quiet humble wisdom is so great in this country, which is obviously true, just WAIT to see the results in the rest of the civilized world when he shows his incredible understanding and leadership for the good of ALL, not just the greed of America-it is HISTORIC in every way, so get with it, every body!

If he is so great, perhaps he can make a greater contribution on mankind by remaining overseas.

  • Posted By: MRFRED @ 07/20/2008 4:09:20 PM

Too bad he has to return to America. Let him stay with the idiots overseas. One less politician here

I am from Chicago, and boy do we know Obama here. No amount of sainthood being crowned on him by the media can hide the fact that he is dirty, no holes bared policio. He went to the state legislature by getting his two (black) opponents thrown off the ballot and so running unopposed. Now we get his magic mystery
tour dog and pony show kissed by no less than all three network news anchors. And know we find that he has two hundred tutors madly trying to teach him something so he doesn't keep showing his ignorance. Learn what we in Chicago already know, Obama is just an empty suit.

That is the reason I do not feel comfortable voting for him.

      Thank You!

Yeah! And I live just outside the City with Big Shoulders - just one opinion out of over 10 million. Glad you speak for so many, but don't you get tired call each person up so you can speak for them or is it a union steward thing.
