Ha ha too funny....your really grasping at straws.
This video has as much chance to be real as the Larry Sinclair story or Michelle's "Whitey" tape....so wouldn't it be funny if they were all true!
Then we could compare McCain's forced confession under pain of torture to a possible first lady that hates white people, and a president thats on the down low....who do you think would win that comparison....hate to break it to you but Obama would lose big time.

We all know there isn't a 40 year old tape showing McCain "confessing". There isn't a tape of Michelle Obama calling on "Whitey" and Larry Sinclair is a loon.

      You need new material.

      • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 07/26/2008 6:11:00 PM

Z, you are the one grasping at straws. Mrs. Michelle Obama does not hate white people. After all the race card issues we have had on the blogs recently, you of all people ought to know better. Why go there?

        • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 07/26/2008 9:24:37 PM

Read my comment again...I said the "Whitey" tape is probably not true just like this tape Omarr is talking about....

Okay, that's fair. Sorry, my bad.

Remember the only criticism I have with Michelle is the double standard with Obama, how his wife is off limits yet Obama's supporters go after BIll and Cindy for what they say and do....If Obama or his people don't want Michelle to be subject to criticism on the campaign trail then she needs to stay off the Mic.

              • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 07/26/2008 10:28:27 PM

Oh, I see, Michelle is going to be bad again. That's what Davole said about me. Said I was bad today and I need to question my honesty and integrity. Darn, just when I was beggining to think some people like me. Lol! If A sees all those endless posts from D to me, D will be toasted.

Davole, how long have you been blogging on News? Me, six months. Zombie the same. We know each other a lot more than you know me. Zombie is my opponent , but we have blogged together almost daily for six months, We are opponents and yet we get along very well. I can tell him almost anything and he is tolerant, supportive, fair and understanding. When he does criticize me and I do the same to him, he and I both know why. You don't know me and you don't need to know me. This is, after all, only a blog.

What a way to start the morning, with a good laugh! LOL! You see folks, Davole, who is not American and can't vote and seems to be obsessed with our election, seems to think that Obama may be displaced by Hillary at the convention. Totally delusional.

    http://thinkprogress.org/2008/05/22/odierno-mccain-100/

Gen. Raymond Odierno will take over the Iraq Occupation after General Patraeus...fact

He told Jim Webb that the US Would Not stay in Iraq Indifinitely.

This War took enough Lives 1 Million Innocent Iraqi Citizens & Over 4,096 Honorable US Military Men & Women's Lives, Killed under false Pretenses, to get to this point and its still a Touch and Go situation.

McCain is Wrong, We will NOT stay in Iraq, even if it takes 100 Yrs or More, Iraq is NOT Germany, Japan or Korea and we will Withdraw from Iraq as we are doing Presently, so that Dispells McCain's USA Indifinite Stay in Iraq ...

Odierno responded that the end point would be when Iraq has a ???self-reliant government, a professionalized security force, and major political reconciliation. Webb asked what the U.S. presence should be if those conditions are met:

WEBB: Well, what what is the end point of the United States involvement in Iraq? Lets say that Iraq meets the conditions you just talked about. Should there be a United States military presence in Iraq?

ODIERNO: I think that???s a discussion we would have along several levels. Not only from the MNF-I command or the Central Command level and obviously our civilian leadership to decide what their policy would be in the future toward Iraq.

WEBB: Do you believe that if those conditions are met, there would be a need for the United States military in Iraq?

ODIERNO: I do not. I believe what we would want, though, is to maintain obviously military contacts as we do with many countries over the world.

    Watch it:

Odiernos statement pours cold water on Sen. John McCains (R-AZ) infamous claim that the U.S. should maintain a presence in Iraq, for as much as 100 or 10,000 years. Fine with me,

McCain says,as long as Americans are not being injured or harmed or wounded or killed.

But as Odierno said today, in the case that those conditions are met (a big if, as Max Bergmann notes), the U.S. military does not need to keep troops in the country.

Thats a very important clarification, Webb concluded.

      Omaar -

Are you implying that Gen. Raymond Odierno "beat you out" for that position?
If so, better luck next time. Don't be bitter!

But I have heard that there are a few dog catcher positions available in the US, if you are a US citizen.
You're not afraid of Chihuahuas, are you?

      • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 07/26/2008 7:01:44 PM

Very tasteless, Davole. Tell me, are you a male? I hope so because if you are female...

        • Posted By: Davole @ 07/26/2008 7:37:59 PM

          Pia -

You know that I am a male.
And I'm sure that many of my posts have convinced you in that regard.

You weren't trying to be "cute" here, were you? Maybe just a little bit naughty again?
I'm quite assured that you don't have to try to be cute - that would be naturally you.

You made reference to ...............if you are female ...
Just for conversation sake - what would you have said then as a following comment?

          • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 07/26/2008 8:58:33 PM

Davole, to be honest with you, I was not sure if you are a male. Furthermore from reading your posts I was almost convinced that you are someone I know, a female friend who has your exact posting style. She also mentions doing the 'happy dance' as you have mentioned today. Add that to the fact that she mentioned just last month that she was thinking of registering on Newsweek and voila, I thought she was you. Oh, she speaks French and is very intelligent and a McCain supp. She has family in Canada. I was going to email her and ask if she was on Newsweek as Davole. Then I considered asking you. I didnt mean anything offensive asking you if you were male and comment about 'female. Sorry if you thought that.

              Pia -

Thanks for your reply and explanation - I do appreciate it!

I've also just sent a cut & paste 2 pager to you on another post, if you would care to read it.

You may wonder why I am even bothering to take the considerable time that I do to correspond with you - the answer - BECAUSE I CARE about you.

In a previous reply from you, you stated that I don't even know you, and how could I like a username?
Pia, even though I do like your username, I believe that I can actually look beyond that username to see a fine individual - you.

You do more than remind me of another wonderful young woman who I care about.
You are both, if you will pardon the expression, spitting images of each other.
That doesn't sound very good, but you know what I mean.

She has mentioned to me, just as you have, that we do not have anything in common.
And you are both wrong - for we do - we constantly disagree. That is what we have in common, and that encompasses a lot of territory, and frequently.

Also we do respect each other, although with her and you, maybe in a more guarded manner than I do.

Thanks for being frank (or should it be frankette) enough to intimate to me that you thought that I was someone that you know.

But again, may I suggest that you pay attention to detail. No, I refuse to believe that she has my "exact posting style". I've patented mine, so she's infringing on my court enforceable rights. Please tell her to "cease and desist"(JK). Wow, she also mentions doing the 'happy dance' as I have mentioned today.
And she mentioned just last month that she was thinking of registering on Newsweek and voila, you thought she was me. In that light, I can understand how you formed your opinion.

Please tell her that my screen name has already been taken, but that I do give her permission to add a number after it, as long as that number isn't "1" - I've also got "rights" to that one too.

If she speaks French and is very intelligent and a McCain supporter, then you've got one heck of a competent, reliable, trustworthy friend. If I may be so bold as to suggest - bounce your ideas "off of " her, and do value her opinion and advice. And reciprocally, pay attention to any concerns which she may have.
But with regard to her being a Republican, I'm sure that she has very few problems, and that she can easily fend for herself.

If she ever does blog on Newsweek, I would consider it to be an honour and a pleasure to converse with her, whether or not she identifies herself as your friend.

Maybe you might even dare to print several of my vicious replies to you in order to discuss them with her. I'm preparing for both of you to conspire against me. Heck, I can even confront 2 angry or catty young women acting in unison. (LOL) Bring it on! Just as long as you both don't do the "happy dance" together!

Davole, these are very, very interesting comments that's for sure. Here is something you may find even more interesting and surprising- I'm a Republican voting for Obama. What have you to say now?

As for my friend, if she were to register on News, she would come up with a username that is nothing like yours I'm sure. Btw, she lives in Israel, she's not American, and she is of the Hebrew faith.

I wasn't sure whether you wanted me to converse with you any more, but since you asked what do I have to say, I'll send this reply.

I'm sorry that you took offense at what I said to you - it wasn't my intention to offend you.

You claim to be a Republican voting for Obama.
Several other bloggers have made the same allegation. Whether or not that may be true, who knows?

Previously on several of your other replies in which I had asked whether you approved blatantly biased and unsubstantiated rumours that were posted by others, you responded "it's politics".
Did you mean that the end justifies the means? If so, I don't regard that as displaying integrity.

In that light, I, and maybe several other bloggers here may wonder whether you really are / were a Republican, or whether that is just a typical obamabot tactic to deceive in order to try to influence other Republicans to switch.

In regards to your friend, I wish her and you Shalom!

Davole, I voted for Pres. Bush. twice as a registered. Republican. Whether you believe it or not, I don't care.
As a Canadian, you can't vote, so why so much interest for our election? It must be because you care. Is that it? You should be using your energy and resources for your own country and your govt.

Davole, if this is untrue then so are all the Smears on those sites Sharenews keep posting links to. You keep insisting she posts only facts. What makes you so certain those stories(lies) are facts? Have you yourself hired an investigator? If you call Omaar out on his posts then I will be sure to call Sharenews out on hers. Myself and others here, have checked out many of her links to these so called facts. Most are fabrication only intended to ruin Obama's reputation.

        • Posted By: Davole @ 07/27/2008 1:43:51 AM

          Pia1981 -

Your statement that if Omaar's rant "is untrue then so are all the smears on those sites Sharenews keep posting links to" is known as a non sequitur (meaning that it doesn't follow, or isn't logical).

Sharenews posts are true, because they come from reliable reputable news sources, as opposed to the non reputable sites from which Omaar collects his rants. And if he ever does quote a reliable site, he usually attributes or infers illogical meanings or interpretations to what is reported.

No, I haven't hired an investigator, but both she and I have either been trained in, or have learned how to do logical analysis.

I will challenge any of Omaar's rants which are unfactual, and both Sharenews and I do expect you and others to question our posts and replies. But we do expect you to supply some logical reason for trusting your supposed facts. That's the intent of this website - for people to engage in rational discourse.

    Senate Passes Housing Bill
by J. Taylor Rushing The Hill 07/26/08

Senators found a rare chance for consensus Saturday on a broad housing bill aimed to benefit borrowers, mortgage firms Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and communities hurt by the housing crisis.

The 72-13 final vote sends the bill to President Bush, who this week dropped a longstanding veto threat against the measure over $4 billion on community block grants. The legislation already passed the House on a 272-152 vote on Wednesday. All 13 'no' votes were Republicans.

???We've taken a long time to get where we are," said Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.).
"It's remarkable that when we work together, we can accomplish things."

Reid said he would press to get the bill to Bush on Monday.
However, the bill could be one of the only significant pieces of legislation likely before the November election.

Republicans are insisting that Reid re-open an energy bill debate, where a key cloture vote failed Friday, and are blocking efforts to move to other topics. The GOP wants a more open amendment process that could allow a vote on lifting a congressional moratorium on offshore oil drilling.

"We want to address the issue of gas prices now," said Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.).
"The important thing to do is stay on the subject."

Indeed, Democrats already began trying Saturday to move to a vote on a low-income heating assistance bill, but Republicans successfully blocked the effort. The effort brought a 50-35 vote, well short of the necessary 60 votes.

In a possibly ominous sign, Senate Policy Committee Chairwoman Kay Bailey Hutchison of Texas said Republicans would "absolutely" push to attach a pro-drilling amendment to the continuing resolution that is funding the government. That raises the potential for a government shutdown later this year.

"For us to fund continuing government operations that keeps this moratorium that is against the wishes of America, it's against our longstanding interest in national security as well as our economic security," Hutchison said.

Both of you have twisted my comment like I was putting you in with Holy kind of like McCain twists Obama's comments. I didn't say you were racist. I said you need to check Holy who is a supporter of McCain like you.

Come on HR, you know you are being very unfair. Obama is a very intelligent man. He attended Harvard, he is an attorney, he taught as a civil rights attorney at a Chicago Univ. He was a commu. organizer in Chicago. He was a state senator, he is a US senator, and he is the nom for the presidential election of 2008!. What more do you want? Be nice or I shall ask josemarti lend me her whip.

Lots of folks go to college. Bush sure did. Attorney? Yea, and does work for and with Rezko and Ayers. Civil Rights? If attending the Trinity Temple of Hell for 20 yrs. taught him anything, I wouldn't call it civil. Community Organizer? Just what the heck is that? Make sure the potholes get filled? (prompts to SN for that), State Sen? A Joke. He voted PRESENT or OOPs mostly. U.S. Sen? Lucked into that. Still wet behind the ears. Doesn't even know what committees he is on...BANKING??? And changes positions on major issues, more often than a baby wets its diaper. Qualified for POTUS??? That's why I call YOU naive.

      distantsmoke -

And those are only his associates and friends who have been exposed so far.
Let's see whether more of them would be uncovered in the next few months.

Yes, it appears as though Obama has support from 100% of the America hating crowd.
I don't know of any of them who would support John McCain.

      Keep on blogging!

      • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 07/26/2008 6:18:03 PM

D, I have to disagree on this. IMO, if these people/countries do hate America, they hate the current administration. I don't agree with that of course.

        • Posted By: Davole @ 07/26/2008 7:19:36 PM

          Pia -

In your reply to me today at 15:15, you said that I am correct.

Now you are stating that you have to disagree.

          Which is it?

Would you care to reread my reply again, or should we just flip a coin to determine your opinion?

          • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 07/26/2008 10:35:40 PM

Davole, I said that you were correct that I misread your comment before posting what I did. I read your comment too quickly. I never said that I agreed on your comments about America haters. I did post that these haters hate the current admins., not the county as a whole. This has been a very long week for me. And may I make a suggestion for you? Take a breather. You are taking all of this much too seriously and esp. for someone who is not even an American voter. Or are you?

      • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 07/26/2008 1:58:55 PM

Davole, I am surprised and chagrined at your comment. 100% of Obama's support comes from Americans who hate their own country? Wow. You are so wrong. You are so misguided. And you are Canadian, so unless you live and work here and pay our taxes an dcontribute to society, you don't know anything about my country nor my fellow countrymen to make such a callous and ridiculous comment.

        • Posted By: Davole @ 07/26/2008 3:08:00 PM

          Pia -

Whoa - in your hasty read and responsive slight, you failed to notice what I had actually said.

I stated that "It appears as though Obama has support from 100% of the America hating crowd".
I emphasize - THE AMERICA HATING CROWD! i.e. Hamas, Hezbollah, Cuba, Venezuela, etc.

Please reread my posted reply to verify that what I have just typed agrees 100% with what I had posted.

Now look at you you perceived or interpreted by statement -
"I am surprised and chagrined at your comment. 100% of Obama's support comes from Americans who hate their own country? Wow. You are so wrong. You are so misguided. And you are Canadian, so unless you live and work here and pay our taxes an dcontribute to society, you don't know anything about my country nor my fellow countrymen to make such a callous and ridiculous comment."

Do you notice a difference in what I had posted, and in what you so hastily interpreted my words to mean?
I made no mention of "Americans who hate their own country" - that was your interpretation.

That is a prime example of what I mean when I state that several bloggers do not pay significant attention to detail. Doing so can and often does distort what is believed to be "the truth."

I honestly believe that one of the main factors which differentiates Conservatives and Republicans from democrats is that the former 2 groups concern themselves with facts and thought, whereas the latter, instead sometimes obscurs the facts by placing more importance on feelings.

Now, do you still believe that the latter part of your reply is valid and warranted?

Hoping to hear from you, if you would care to do so, and if you haven't already "written me off"!

          • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 07/26/2008 3:15:20 PM

Davole, you are correct. I'm sorry. I noticed a few minutes ago and posted comments to you above that I would correct my mistake by posting another comment here. I will later, I have to log off now. Au revoir....

    • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 07/26/2008 1:59:57 PM

You are just as wrong and misguided as Davole. Wise up!

  • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 07/25/2008 4:18:40 PM

Cielo, leaving you a comment here in case you're still around. Over the weekend, see if you can think of more difficult sounding Italian words I may not remember or know how to pronounce. Perhaps you can teach me that along with politics? I think you're the expert.

Okay, have a great weekend..........'see' ya here soon.

    • Posted By: Skypoint @ 07/25/2008 6:04:25 PM

      Pia Z,

I'll try to think up a few... in the meantime feel free to ask a couple of toughies if you think of them, and I'll see if I can decipher them. The reality is I can write better than I can speak the few languages I've studied, but I'm learning. (For instance, I have trouble rolling my R's when speaking Spanish). I think I'd have to disagree about being an expert at either language or politics, but I do love both... thanks for thinking me so! - Sky

      • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 07/25/2008 6:11:52 PM

Sky, you do know a whole lot more about politics than I.
As for languages, I think you do well in Italian and Spanish. I don't know much Spanish, I can understand it ,but can't speak it much. Btw, brushing is 'spazzolare'. I just spoke to my dad on the phone.

See you here the weekend I hope, if not, next week.

        • Posted By: Skypoint @ 07/25/2008 6:42:51 PM

BTW, You probably know this, but the Italian and Spanish languages are very similar. Now, if I can just learn to roll my "R's"!!!

          Sky

          • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 07/25/2008 7:31:48 PM

Sky, (I like it better than Cielo) both languages are very similar. They both sound pretty, wouldn't you agree? Now what makes you think you can't roll your R's?

            • Posted By: Skypoint @ 07/26/2008 10:24:39 AM

Yes, I agree both are beautiful. Not sure why I stumble rolling my R's. It's frustrating, as most people can. (I'm the only one in my family that can't). I have several friends that speak fluent Spanish try and teach me to little avail, and they get equally frustrated! I'm determined though, I'll get there. Till then, I just avoid words that call for the dreaded rolling R! (Actually, I'm not alone. A friend from Mexico tells me there are people there that can't do it either).

              • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 07/26/2008 12:30:23 PM

Sky, not to worry, we shall take care of those stumbling R's with practice. I bet you sound good though, you may just be a bit hard on yourself. You write and speak Italian better tham some Italians! Yours truly included.

I'm not sure about this... I'm really just beginning with French and it is a toughie! Italian and Spanish are much easier for me to get.

Pia - I read a couple of days ago that one of my favorite actors, Gillian Anderson, went through that when she was little and her family returned to the states from England. Kids, as you know can be cruel, especially when the see someone a little "different". I like foreign accents, however simply because they are different. I had a Nissan that had the sexiest female voice (English/Asian) that told me when the door was open, when I was low on fuel, left the lights on, etc. Silly, I know, but I never tired of hearing her!

No, I'm not a language teacher! lol Regarding French, I can put together a few sentences and even a paragraph here and there. I have a few books and other things that help. Really, it looks much better here than reality!!

I like Gillian Anderson too. She is beautiful and a very good actor. I miss the XFiles. I had no idea GA was from England.

Yes, children can be cruel, they don't understand. My accent was not 100% French since I attended English school ( Catholic). I had one hour of French a week, so my accent was a combo of Italian, a bit of French and some Canadian English. I still have it, only now I add a Jersey twang to it. Most people like it.

Big D = Dallas, Texas. It is gorgeous here today also, albeit a tad hot. Not unusual for Texas this time of year. Never have quite gotten used to it though, as I'm originally from much cooler central California. I have visited Jersey.... beautiful forests there I understand.

I do live in the forest in NJ, only a half hour drive from the ocean.

I like Dallas, but no question about it here... I'm envious! I love the sea. From here, the ocean feels like it's in "a galaxy far, far away!" I grew up about 90 minutes away from the coast (San Luis Obispo / Morrow Bay). The Sierra Nevada mountains weren't far either. I miss them both.....

The Sierra Nevada mountain range is spectacular! I spent a lot of time in Yosemite, Sequoia and other gorgeous spots up there. My father was a pilot, and we were transferred to LA, then Dallas. There's times I have thought of returning to live, but work-wise it really is easier just to visit every year. Half of our family still lives there. We're very close, so we make it a point to see each other often.

McCain is a HYPOCRITE and a LIAR, when Overseas, McCain was told also, like Obama, NOT to Visit Injured Troops on Military Base Hospitals....yet he acted as if, Obama had Control of this situation.

McCain should've taken a Vacation in the US virgin islands, instead, its been a very Bad Week, for him !!

This McCain is Lower than LOW, How is McCain going to Explain this ..Easy Stumble and Fumble and Blame it on the Sure, Guess ?

Barack Obama canceled a pre-planned visit to the troops in Germany yesterday after being told by the Pentagon that the trip would violate a (Pentagon Policy Prohibiting Campaign) stops on Military installations. No problem there.

However, the McCain campaign is now blasting Obama:

The McCain camp has nonetheless been using Obama's canceled trip to insinuate that he's anti-troops. "Barack Obama is wrong," McCain spokesperson Brian Rogers said in a statement yesterday. "It is never 'inappropriate' to visit our men and women in the military."
The problem here is that the McCain campaign was denied a visit to a military base under the same policy back in April. Of course, there was no outcry or false outrage from Brian Rogers at that time.

    From CNN:

With Department of Defense rules prohibiting political campaigning on military bases, it was determined that in some cases McCain could visit the installations as a senator but could not engage in any political activity or have news media present.

McCain campaign officials said Thursday they intentionally did not campaign on military property.

"We follow the rules," said senior McCain adviser Steve Schmidt.

Because all three presidential candidates are sitting senators, DoD officials have privately noted for some weeks that the whole matter of drawing the line between Senate business and campaigning is sensitive.

A U.S. Army official told CNN there are no pending requests from any of the campaigns to visit Army bases at this time. He noted that Sen. Barack Obama recently visited Fayetteville, North Carolina, but did not go to Fort Bragg; and Sen. Hillary Clinton visited Killeen, Texas, but did not go to Fort Hood.

For his Wednesday visit to the U.S. Naval Academy -- of which he is a graduate -- McCain was allowed to make a political appearance at the academy's football stadium because it is privately owned property and is not owned or run by the U.S. military.

Earlier in the day, when McCain had breakfast with midshipmen on academy grounds, it was closed to the press and considered a private event.

      Omaar -

The always competent sharenews has "taken the wind out of your sails" by factually debunking your overtly biased rant - your allegation that John McCain had unfairly criticized Barack Obama for one of his programmers' decisions.

You offer the Obama campaign's pitiful excuse for their candidate's cancellation of a visit to a prominent military hospital on his Choreographed Great Mystery Tour through the Middle East and Europe.

Was Obama worried that the wounded soldiers would "gang up" on him?
After all, they would have weapons at their disposal - their bare hands, and probably a few canes. And any facial bruises which they might inflict upon Obama would have to be obscured by make-up artists for his next photo-op.

Irregardless, he probably figured that it was actually useless for him to visit any American individuals who had given so much if he couldn't manage to turn it into a photo-op.

But hey, working out for a few minutes in the gym was a great photo-op instead, just like his previous shot at a basketball court a few days ago.

Omaar - I notice that you rarely (if ever) bother to respond to any other blogger's reply.

Haven't your "handlers" instructed you as to how you could use the reply button?

On second thought, maybe they have decided that you are incapable of thoughtful response, and definitely do need to be protected to avoid personal and democrat party embarrassment.

Or, maybe they just don't have the time to provide you with instantaneous talking point rebuttals, for even they realize that your propaganda posts are unfounded biases.

No. Sharenews has not taken the wind out of Omaar's sails.

    • Posted By: sharenews @ 07/26/2008 3:24:49 AM

First of all, Obama DID have a choice to still go to the two bases to visit wounded troops. His hands were not tied at all.

The real deal is, Obama and co. should have evaluated upfront the ramifications of visiting these 2 bases of wounded troups and then leave it off the agenda or put in on the agenda. It is called up front planning. But to have made a conscious decision to visit the wounded troops by putting it on the schedule, they should not have skipped it as there was a solution which was to visit the troops expecting him, only just as a Senator without campaign people and publicity. That was something he could have done. Why didnt he do that? The pentagon said they would host it for him at the bases, but he must have felt he wouldnt get anything out of it and opted to work out in the hotel gym instead,

      OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE STATEMENT:

Geoff Morrell, the Pentagon Press Secretary, issued a statement emphasizing that the Pentagon did not cancel Mr. Obamas visit.

Senator Obama, in his official capacity, is always welcome to visit Landstuhl or any other military hospital. But it is not permitted to bring with him campaign staff. His team was notified of that, and they made a decision not to visit the hospital. But we were ready and willing to host him there. In fact, we had made arrangements for his campaign plane to land at Ramstein, and to take care of the campaign staff and press in a passenger terminal there, while the senator and senate staff, if he liked, went on to visit wounded warriors. They made a decision based on their own calculations not to visit. Senator Obama, like any other member of the senate, is always welcome to visit our wounded warriors or our military hospitals around the world. But they do so in their official capacity, and not as a candidate. He can come in and bring senate staffers as well, if he likes, but campaign staffers and press are not permitted to accompany him. I guess after finding that there was not a photo op he would say PASS and go back to the hotel where he went to work out in the gym instead.

      * * * * * * *
As for Mccain, I have no idea what you are talking about, saying McCain didnt visit the wounded troops too and that he had to be told why, etc. I really doubt that was the case cuz this man ran for president before plus he was in the military so of course he wouldnt have to be told something like Obama was told about the rules. what visit was this troop visit mccain didnt make and was it even on the official agenda with wounded troops waiting? Please point me to your source on that one (link? what site,?).

I also, heard that several of the soldiers had promised to WHIP HIS MOHAMMED ASS. He VOTED NOT to fund their weapons and armour.

The Pope is going to be Pissed.....

    As well as "Jesus Christ"

Should'nt the "Un-Holy Roller" i Mean the "Un-Holy Hypocrite" be up in Arms about McCain calling the (Dai Lai Lama)

    "His Holiness"

McCain just Wants Asian Ameriacans to Vote for him.

McCain is Not a "Christian" he's a Career Politician and Ultra-Elitist and he knows it too, look at how Uncomfortable he Looks at the German Haus of Weiners and The Super Market in the Dairy Isle..it was Pathetic, at the German Haus of Weiners, the People looked liked they'd rather eat, than hear Mccain talk, while they ate.

I also wished he would've visited that Oil Rig as planned and the Oil Spill was God saying....

"John I can't stand You either and I know You John, Better than Anyonelse"

Note: John McCain: Has said he has Attended this Arz. Baptist Church for 20 Years, yet McCain REFUSES to be BAPTIZED, there fore the Church REFUSES to LIST McCain as a Member, because of Mccain's... REFUSAL TO BE BAPTIZED.

McCain says its a... "Personal Matter"

Obama has Been Baptized as well as his Familiy

    Personal Matter, My A!! ...

You Confess that Jesus Christ is Your Lord and Personal Savior, the Pastor Bends you Backwards and Dunks You in the Water 1-3 times and thats it !!!

Difficult Task, Huh John..."Its a Personal Matter" Huh John

i Hope that a person in that Town hall Christian Meeting Ask John 2 Questions.....

    1. John McCain, Is Jesus Christ, Your Lord and Personal Savior and would You Confess Now, to the Christian Audience and Christian World, it would be Priceless to hear his Response, If he does not say, "Jesus is My Lord and Savior"...

    2. Mr. McCain, Sir, Why do You Refuse to be BAPTIZED ?

IF THAT HAPPENS, JOHN MCCAIN IS ...DONE !!!.

  • Posted By: Omaar @ 07/26/2008 4:41:58 PM

The Jealous & Envious Republicvan Party & John Mccain....

Republicans have criticized Obama throughout his trip, and McCain's campaign said recently the Democrat was taking a "premature victory lap" with more than 100 days remaining in the presidential campaign.

In Arizona on Saturday, McCain took a swipe at the headline-making trip in a radio address on Iraq and energy that his campaign made available to the media: "With all the breathless coverage from abroad, and with Sen. Obama now addressing his speeches to the people of the world, I'm starting to feel a little left out. Maybe you are, too."

#1 But Obama sought to turn that back on his critics. He said McCain had earlier been "telling me I was supposed to take this trip. He suggested it and thought it was a good idea."

Note: "John McCain has visited every one of these countries post-primary that I have," he said. "So it doesn't strike me that we have done anything different than the McCain campaign has done, which is to recognize that part of the job of the next president, commander in chief is to forge effective relationships with our allies."

The trip was designed by the campaign to show Obama on an international stage in a way that aides hoped would reassure voters who have doubts about his ability to become commander in chief or chart a course for American foreign policy. Jews at home were an audience of particular concern, reflected in his two-night stay in Jerusalem.

Note: McCain has long opposed Obama's call for a (16-Month Timetable) for the withdrawal of U.S. combat troops from Iraq. On Friday, though, McCain said, "I think it's a pretty good timetable, as we should ??? or "Horizons for Withdrawal," echoing a Phrase Bush used in recent days. "But they have to be based on conditions on the ground."

McCain's Only Hope, his SURGE !!!

#2 At his news conference, Obama jumped on that to say there was now some convergence "Around a proposal that we have been making for a year and a half."

#3 He also said McCain Supports Sending Additional U.S. Troops to Afghanistan, "and the Bush administration acknowledges that as well. I have been talking about that since LAST YEAR" Obama said.

You state that John McCain is "The Ultimate Contradiction, The Ultra Hypocrite".

No, that distinction has already been claimed by Barack Obama - and he might be mad that you are trying to take his title away from him!

Watch out - Obama might even take away your weekly allowance!

  • Posted By: raddave @ 07/25/2008 4:43:23 PM

Some of the people on this site truely amaze me. You criticize EVERYTHING that Barack Obama does.
Why doesn't he travel overseas? He is overseas, HOW DARE HE GO.
He is for getting troops out of Iraq, Doesn't he want to fight the enemy? He is for sending more troops to Afghanistan? What does he want to do, get more of our soldiers killed?
He is the Mesiah, a Muslim and the Anti-Christ
    He is a fascist, he's a marxist.
Hell, I bet if he farted someone would criticize him. Saying something like, why is he wasting that gas? He should take that gas and try to produce an alternative energy source with it.

Of course some of you John McCain haters out there are no better.
He deliberately flew his plane into that missle, so he could become a POW, so he could use it in his political campaign.
He finished with the worst academic record in Naval Academy history and only got promoted to LT Jr Grade because his father was an admiral.
He's so old that he witnessed the birth of Christ.
I bet if McCain farted, you would claim that he is about to die.

    • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 07/25/2008 4:54:38 PM

I agree with you on that, although I think everyone has been caught in that trap once or twice...I know I have. I think it comes down to both sides don't see the other side being critical of their candidates and so they think they have to criticize the other's candidate for them.

I'm hoping for rain - we might get a little from the storm that hit the gulf coast.

I'll check out The Smith's video you mentioned. I see a lot of stuff there, but have not yet looked them up.

The color of my eyes? Essi sono di colore blu or Azzurro.... light blue, which (here's a bit of trivia for you) happens to be the national color of Italy! But you knew that.... And yours?

Sky, I hope you do get rain. You probably need it with all the heat.

Do check out the Smith's and A. Bocelli with Georgia-Vivo Per Lei.

Light blues are very attractive. Mine are blue too. Aqua blue.

Later, baby blues... stay cool. See ya tonight or tomorrow perhaps?

    Hello to Pia.
I have been noticing that the "ROVEBOTS have been unfairly ruff on you as of late but your good nature just diminishes there attack and gives me cause to chuckle.

My Sicilian Grandmother was my favorite person in the entire world. She lived till she was 100 years old and was fully aware until she died. she was the wisest person i have ever known and also the most beautiful woman i have ever seen.

Your good nature reminds me very much of my Grandmother

    have a great day

chores are calling and I must obey

Hello Driver. Wow, what a generous compliment to compare me in any way to your lovely grandmother. She was a very special person I'm sure.

I appreciate your kind words and support but I am non deserving. I have been bad on the blogs all week. I will try to behave from now on, no matter how rough the road ahead may be. Thank you, driver. You have a great day and don't work too much. 'See' you again soon.

      • Posted By: chindognyc @ 07/26/2008 1:10:56 PM

I have to behave also Pia.

        • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 07/26/2008 1:29:56 PM

Hi chin. You'll do fine, not to worry. It won't be easy though when we get faced with some of the temptations.

          • Posted By: Davole @ 07/26/2008 3:42:27 PM

            Pia -

Consider this to be one of those temptations - It may be monumental!

This morning I responded to one of the rants which Omaar posted late last night, and sharenews replied early this morning.
            .
You have previously chastised me for agreeing with her on several occasions, and I can accept that.

I want to congratulate you for refraining from replying to his rant (assuming that you have read it), whereas previously you have supported his comment by (my terminology - it's merely a tease, and not an attempt to be derogatory toward you) offering a hi-5, doing the happy dance, or performing cartwheels.

If you get a chance, and would care to do so, consider posting a reply to Omaar, me, or sharenews in the appropriate location.

Even though we're on opposite sides of the aisle, I'm touting my sincere respect to you.

Please don't misread either my post, or my intent in this regard.

            Ciao for now!

            • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 07/26/2008 6:21:00 PM

Davole, I will look for these posts. I may take awhile to find them amongst all this cutting and pasting. I don't like cutting and pasting btw. Sometimes there's too much of it going on.

      • Posted By: Davole @ 07/26/2008 2:22:20 PM

        Pia -

I believe that you are gracious and humble - definitely deserving everything that comes your way!

But I disagree with your statment that you have been bad on the blogs all week.
IMHO - Maybe naughty, but not bad, and definitely not nasty.

Keep smiling - I'm sure that it "becomes you so"!

        • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 07/26/2008 3:02:52 PM

Davole, thank you, that's very kind you to say. You are the same way.

Oh, btw, I replied to one of your posts to another blogger down below and when I wen back and read it again, I realized I was mistaken. I misread your comments, sorry. I will go back and re-post another comment to correct my original one..

      Driver of wagons -

Is Omaar a ROVEBOT or an obamabot?

I notice that he has a propensity for attacking John McCain by calling him senile.

I do respect your 100 year old Sicilian Grandmother who was fully aware until she died.
You state that she was the wisest person you have ever known. I'm sure that she does appreciate
your praise of her, and that she is probably proud of you.

Maybe you and Pia might care to "yank Omaar's chain" in order to censure him for his degrading mockery of anyone probably older and wiser than himself.

    • Posted By: Skypoint @ 07/26/2008 10:48:09 AM

And you're point? Every presidential hopeful makes gaffs. Obama, McCain, (and the rest of them have made a ton). That, IMO, wouldn't disqualify any of them for president.

Oppps... sorry Driver! This post was meant for the one above! My apologies.

Pia, you are so right. He is looking more Presidential every day. Zombie still can't answer why did McCain say that at one time, he too did not love America until he was deprived of her company.

    • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 07/26/2008 5:11:16 PM

You know I'm not a mind reader so I don't know....but I think he means that he didn't really figure out what America meant or meant to him until he was deprived of his freedoms that we take for granted, until he was brutalized and tortured daily. He didn't realize how much he loved America until every shred of human rights and human dignity was taken away.
It's like losing loved one, you don't really miss them until they are gone...I don't know if you lost anyone but if you did then you would know what I'm talking about....

Hope that help.....it anything it makes me more proud to be supporting McCain....he gets what true patriotism is and he gets what sacrifice really means. He puts America first. He knows and admits that he is an imperfect person that is trying to do what he feels is right and tries to help his fellow man....thanks for making me watch the FULL interview to find that quote...

    • Posted By: HolyRoller @ 07/26/2008 1:41:00 PM

hey puupydog...here is the direct quote. It would take a LOT of Kool-Aide, and a tiny value system, to twist this around. But that is a condition that occurs, when weak-minded dimwits, worship a Crook and a Fraud. Ya'll are all a bunch, of silly, little sissies.................

McCain said, "I didn't really love America until I was deprived of her company."

      Pitiful......

      NOBAMA!!!

Yesterday John McCain Met with the (Dai Lai Lama) and called this Man "His Holiness"
