Why did this fanatic support for Israel not exist before '68?
Israel's outgoing ambassador to the U.N. says the world needs to keep pressure on Iran.
Why did this fanatic support for Israel not exist before '68?
Wow, hard hitting interview from Newsweek - or should that be Newsweak?
Why not ask the ambassador whether Israel is proud of it's status as the only country in the world which is extending it's lawful borders? Or asking about the 69 UN resolutions it is breaching? Or the Wall which annexes land and which the ICJ called illegal? Or whether Dimona will be opened up to inspection? Or Israel's breaching Article 4 of the Geneva Convention in it's collective punishment of Gaza? Nope, that would be too..... now what's the word i'm looking for..... fair.

In the opinion of most of the world, Israel has most of its credibility. So why are we repeating their lies by printing them?
The Palestine Review
http://palestinereview.com
yeah wa ever how about you peace loving palestine brothers then???? By the way, How many international airliners israeli defence forces has downed or hijaked to the date? I'm just asking
If Iran is such a big evil regime, that must be feared, can anyone tell me how many countries Iran has invaded, how many has it threatened (it did not threaten to wipe Israel off the map - it wants Zionism wiped out which is not the same thing). Answer is ZERO. Compare this to how many wars, illegal wars, bully of countries, and false flag operations the US has carried out. I would rather trust Iran than the US.
And Clinton defined oral sex as not having sex...There is NO difference when a fanatical regime claims it wants to wipe ANY religion or ppl off the map, its a threat...So whats your logic when he stated that the United States was going to burn in hell...You just took it as republicans would be the only ones to die? You would be safe as long as you voted as a left wing dem?...Keep your head in the sand...Let real men protect this nation when the time comes.
I'm sorry, but there is a difference.... it's called rhetoric. Just because they make an inflammatory statement against Israel doesn't necessarily mean they're signaling their intention to threaten that said country. Most of the times, actions don't always follow rhetoric and this is one of them. That is why the comment shouldn't be taken seriously. As for telling me to keep my head in the sand and let real men protect this nation... well let me tell you something what real men do; real men don't allow its government to topple democratically-elected governments, real men don't allow its government to extend its hegemonic powers over countries in the name of democracy and certainly, real men don't allow its government to back brutal regimes that are friendly to the U.S. All of these does nothing, but foster the hatred against the U.S, thereby putting its national security in jeopardy and people like you, for instance, who refuse to acknowledge it are the ones keeping their heads in the sand. At least, I'm smart enough to realize that.
hhhmmm yee it's just rhetoric that you have rip of all logos relating to jewish state from your clothes and so on for a seik of your life when entering this peace full country called Iran
6,000 centrifuges total to make nuclear energy?...They must be in a real hurry to make electricity..Rhetoric is nowadays a precursor to an attack..We listened to Osamas rhetoric, we listened to Saddams rhetoric "alot of good it did him", And now you propose we sit and listen to Irans rhetoric?...Now other Middle Eastern countries dont want Iran to have ANY form of nuclear energy because they know exactly what will happen...They are hoping we or Israel attacks them to slow them down in there goal to produce"electricity". I guess Israels 'attack" on Syrias peaceful power plant a few months ago wasnt really followed by attacks from other mideast countries because why?...Maybe its because they knew what the outcome would be if Syria were allowed to build it..Just like the mideast region knows what will happen if Iran is allowed to continue its goal for "lots of electicity"..Democratically elected?...My ass...Just like Africas "democratic" elections right?...Intimidation, and rigging the votes...Im sure the Iranian ppl wanted someone in office that put their nation up against the world for the sake of nuclear electricity...And Im sure they were voting for sanctions that they are now enjoying...And grow up the WORLD has always backed one regime or another to achieve its goals...Its silly not to...So yes put your head back in the sand and wish us well in our endeavors of hopefully stopping a fanatical regime from achieving its goals either by negotiation or force.
Dear observer101. in the case oral sex not having sex, mr Clinton is right it is not counted as having sex and that is how your muslim brothers see it. Oral sex is act of sex only when you are provaiding oral sex .
been a'round as well
Wise Weasal; well said!! the Israelis government are the great liers & deceivers they talk peace with the Palestinians while continuing building more settlements and assassinate Palestinians resistance fighters.
''Israel's outgoing ambassador to the United Nation says,
the world nesss to keep pressure on Iran'
But i have different view in this matter,
look, Non prolifration treaty(NPT) an agreement,
and iran its signatree,
we should make solution of this issue,
which can engulfed whole world into fire,
It is need of the time,
to go through the whole agreement,
word by word,
because this agreement ,not only a cpmprehensine in nature,
but also very senstive.
Iranain has different stand.
and others are clarifying it in other words.
There is dispute on it,
arguements are being advance ,
but in supporting,
no party is ready to take a stand heading to right line.
using a power, it can not be resolved,
the best way is negotitions,
it is prime duty of United Nation ,
move forward and take this enstinve issue,
in its own hand and take a firm decision ,in the line of the said agreement.
representatives be selected with ''Yes'' of the parties concerned,
they acte as independent ,impatial reconiliators,
and a firm decision keeping in minde whole sacenario and the existing circumstances.
Judgement must be based on jusice,
then it would be acceptable to all,
The formula ,under which set of ecnomic sanctions has been imposed
failed,so new way to resolve this crisis should be adopted for security of rigion.
Are You Ready to Face the Facts About Israel?
http://www.counterpunch.org/roberts07252008.html
I had given up on finding an American with a moral conscience and the courage to go with it and was on the verge of retiring my keyboard when I met the Rev. Thomas L. Are.
Rev. Are is a Presbyterian pastor who used to tell his Atlanta, Georgia, congregation: ???I am a Zionist.??? Like most Americans, Rev. Are had been seduced by Israeli propaganda and helped to spread the propaganda among his congregation.
Around 1990 Rev. Are had an awakening for which he credits the Christian Canon of St. George???s Cathedral in Jerusalem and author Marc Ellis, co-editor of the book, Beyond Occupation.
Realizing that his ignorance of the situation on the ground had made him complicit in great crimes, Rev. Are wrote a book hoping to save others from his mistake and perhaps in part to make amends, Israeli Peace Palestinian Justice, published in Canada in 1994.
Rev. Are researched his subject and wrote a brave book. Keep in mind that 1994 was long prior to Walt and Mearsheimer???s recent book, which exposed the power of the Israel Lobby and its ability to control the explanation Americans receive about the ???Israeli-Palestinian conflict.???
Rev. Are begins with an account of Israel???s opening attack on the Palestinians, an event which took place before most Americans alive today were born. He quotes the distinguished British historian, Arnold J. Toynbee: ???The treatment of the Palestinian Arabs in 1947 (and 1948) was as morally indefensible as the slaughter of six million Jews by the Nazis. Though nor comparable in quantity to the crimes of the Nazis, it was comparable in quality.???

cheers for the news Gee i been out the world seen for a bit but i am experianced anuff to say yup nukes got to be lorded with are world switches hay israeli caint be the focus to get a deal or presure use ya mind stuck together fool and yes each power has its years of twisted storys u know but time is now and the reasons are real so like organized human responce lets get cracking
Um ekay, I dont know where YOU have been but Iran is a threat, even to itself...They have attacked U.S. barracks(act of war), overthrew the American embassy in Iran(act of war), took American hostages, bombed planes, trained terrorists and blatantly admitted it, took British naval personal in international waters hostage(act of war), claim to wipe Israel and the U.S. "off the map"...And they are not a threat to anyone?...Please dont take an occupation that requires you to defend this nation...The enemies of the United States would put one past you!
observer, my friend, these threats are political threats and it is very naiive and simple of u to actually believe that iran wud actually do this, the problem with u is that u are so naiive and see things in black and white and u forget the truth behind everything: the truth is that america in 1957 backed the irani neuclear program and helped create it, the truth is that every "terrorist war or military party" is actually being funded by the CIA: arms and intelligence and instigation of events, but never u mind the important thing is to realise that the world is not as simple as ur superiors want u to believe, thats it.
observer101-you seem to have selected memory, you forget to mention the CIA overthrow of Iran legimate President in 1955 replaced with USA puppet the Shah- you actually believe that Iran is going to invade the USA? this is the same fear mongering language used by Israel and Bush to deceive the American people in goin to war with Iraq WMD, connection to 911, blah blah did you forget?
Agreed. observer101 seems to be forgetting the fact that the hostage takover was in response to the brutal dictator Shah's 25 years of repressive rule and the U.S. supported and endorsed the Shah's autocratic policies toward his own people so it's no wonder why the Iranians harbor such resentment against the U.S.
Had the U.S. (the British) not overthrow the democratically-elected Mossadegh government, Iran right now, would have a thriving democracy and we wouldn't have to deal with the tensions we currently have.
Weasel, why don't you move to Iran then, they most likey need your great wisdom, weasel.
Given the fact that crime is rampant in my area, I certainly won't mind moving to Iran and contrary to media propaganda, Iran is one of the safest countries in the world to live, not to mention it has low crime rate which makes it more attractive for me to live there. And no, the fanatics don't need my wisdom, they all have the wisdom they need for themselves.
Really?...Why is Afghanistan a threat?...Why I remember just a few years ago when they sent a fleet of ships and ground troops to the U.S. and "invaded" ....Ofcourse that never happened...Stupid ppl...A country doesnt have to INVADE to be a serious threat...Just go through life pretending nothing will ever happen to the U.S. because we will SEE an invasion fleet coming, and thats how YOU will then be convinced a threat is imminent.
If a lie is repeated often enough people start to except it as truth.
America has every right to fear Iran. With their vast naval Fleet of aircraft carriers, battle ships and atomic submarines with sea to land nuclear missiles, with their numberless long range bombers and supersonic fighter jets heavy with nuclear bombs and weapons, together with their thousands of missile sites loaded with long range nuclear rockets and hundreds of satellites pinpointing targets we haven???t a chance they could wipe us out in the blink of an eye.

Politics is like driving. To go backward, put it in R. To go forward, put it in D.
My fellow friendly Netizens: For the past 2 years I???ve been struggling to get my business out of the red. I???ve experienced several set backs and now find myself well over $25,000 in debt (some of which must be paid back immediately) and out of business. I need your support (more thank Hilary needs your support). I???m exhausted and feeble; facing eviction, separation, as well as bankruptcy. Your small donation to: digital_velocity@hotmail.com (paypal account) can change my life. I genuinely need your support and thank you for helping. Stan
And look at the Iranian oil reserves. They have something we really want and more importantly Iran controls it and is independently minded with their oil bourse and pipeline plans to india via pakistan. The US hates it!

This alleged threat to Saudi oil is curious. Who is the biggest threat these days in the Middle East?
The pipeline I refer to is actually a natural gas line which pertains to the figures below in the next comment.
Why in the world would they be eying Saudi Oil when they more natural gas than they probably know what to do with--hence our interest in them! We now have them surrounded on two sides. Strategic plan all along one might think.
