    Thanks.

In thirty years, as a congressman and senator, McCain has done nothing...zip....zero to address the illegal immagration problem of his own state...Arizona. THIRTY YEARS!..not one piece of meaningful legislation to help his state or country secure it's border...but he sure will listen to Joe Leiberman and AIPAC to spend trillions of dollars and sent our soldiers to die for Israel! He's guilty of putting another country's interest ahead of US interests....that smacks of treason!

"LobbyDelegtes.com is a great tool, I have contacted all my State Delegates for free through email, I have come accross another tool from the same company www.statedemocracy.org its also free and I can contact my lawmakers, apply for an absentee ballot & voter registration and on election day I can locate my polling places. Great tool.... use it"

Its just disgusting how Mccain treated Latino's. He said he would vote agains his own immigration bill and now were supposed to believe he is a reformer on Immigration now.

  • Posted By: madkeyray @ 07/25/2008 12:41:56 AM

Mccain can't be trusted. If he really stands by his words why did he chose to say he would vote against his own bill to win the nomination. Now he needs the Latino votes and wants to stand by his bill again. Mccain has already thrown Latino's under the bus and he doesn't deserve their votes.

whitesmiter so what your saying is provided that immigrants can prove their not criminals you wouldn't have a problem providing them with citizenship? a reasonable objection and one i don't disagree with. I just think we should come up with solutions that don't lump everyone together as illegals and the construction of that absurd wall between the US and Mexico. americans pollute too, that shows that at worst immigrants have as much respect for the land as americans do

re: tiyr :GOP strategist who didn't want to be quoted by name on a sensitive topic". Could you at least indicate whether teh "strategist" is a believer in open borders who characterizes others as cold and cruel, or one who really believes the GOP should hate latinos? i am a lifelong GOPer who loves Lations, wants open borders, but wants laws obeyed and aliens identified and deported when they break laws. From your description, this "strategist" does not appear to believe that people like me do or should exist.

Why not think about how illegals enterering a country illegally may possibly be criminals. THAT'S why it's important for them to go thorugh the process of legalization or is it a good idea to threaten inncoent
American citizens with potential criminals crossing the border and running down the country with their crime and their disrespect for the land itself? If they respected th eland they wouldn't pollute it. Throwing trash on the gound is a sign of a hatred for the land.

i was born and raised here thank you very much. i'm not making a case for amnesty i'm making a case that you are discussing human beings like they're rodents. how exactly would your family have come here "legaly" 300 hundred years ago? There wasn't any policy to turn people away, how could you have come illegaly is the real quetion. what if the native americans didn't want your family here on the grounds that we'd destroy their livelihoods and pollute their lands, guess we took care of those objections. This country is supposed to be the freest land on earth. A place where anyone can come to start a new life for themselves and their families, without persecution for their religion, let alone their race. Isn't that why your families came to this place. So now we're all american and and everyone else isn't, who closed the gates?

Compassion is fine. It makes people act civilized unlike the animals who raped and killed hundreds of women just over the Mexican border. Ever notice how areas heavily requented by hispanics become dumping grounds for piles of trash or their bad habit of throwing their trash on the ground? Can anyone understand that when a certain group of people overurn a country they then proceed to bully its citizens into thinking and believing as they do? Compassion is fine but please do not confuse compassion with injustice.

jnakhoul, my family came here legally about 300 years ago. We did not sneak in, we did not wrap ourselves in the flag of our home country and demand free food, education, and services (if those options had even existed, it is asinine that anyone would actually demand these while wrapped in the flag of their home country after breaking U.S. laws). These are facts, you can try to rewrite history or rationalize all you want. These lawbreakers ARE parasites and are not wanted here. If they want to leave the country and apply for legal entry and status they are more than welcome. People who obey U.S. laws are welcome. If you are one of these leeches who snuck in, turning your neighborhood into a third world ghetto, and are now trying to filibuster for your own amnesty, you are sadly barking up a the wrong, very tall tree.

very true. It's not all that your read by some liberal union loving dirt bag. These people may give you cheap prices at supper market. but lets face the TRUTH THE FACTS show us how much they cost us in healthcare welfare. Juan is out in the field busting his back in the heat. making 7 and hour thats 7 an hour non taxed(TALKING ABOUT ILLEGALS) 11.00 taxed if your AN AMERICAN. I grew up in a place called FORT MORGAN COLORADO) Migrant town. Juan works in the field when his wife is at home collecting welfare. with 1-5 children perhaps a few American born. These children they will not work in the fields like thier parents wont have to won't want to so every generation there must be more bought into the farms sounds like another form of corporate America Creating SLAVERY. Yes slavery First the blacks then the Mexicans really what more can we do to are heritage. GREED DESTROYED AMERICA and laziness destroyed AMERICANS

    • Posted By: Marge11 @ 07/22/2008 8:26:21 AM

Very True. These children of illegal aliens are demanding in State tuition. They are popping out anchor babies and will vote to change this country forever. They are becoming lawyers and their politiciians and are being hired in droves by all our government agencies to be politically correct. They do not want America to be as we know it. The illegal aliens and their ilk are raping this country blind in social services and they refuse to assumilate. Beyond that, they don't want to be Americans...Don't you remember the flags that they wave and their refusal to speak English? Wake up and get rid of these parasites and their enablers.

      • Posted By: sjpersonal @ 07/22/2008 6:27:35 PM

I totally agree with you, but since our government will never endanger their source of unlimited cheap labor and the votes of their anchor children, we are stuck with this. It would really be nice if our elected officials would at least once in a while put us first, but this is unlikely.

yikes, i guess somebody forgot that we all arrived here at some point from another country hoping for a better life. Most of these "facts" are not facts at all. in truth, their inflammatory opinion, i'd rather call them lies though. where did all this hostility towards immigrants come from? it is untrue that they do not pay into social programs and only take out. it is not true that hispanics refuse to assimilate (even the word chosen is creepy) by refusing to learn english, most hispanics polled are entirely enthustiastic to learn english and by percentage are studying it more than any other immigrant group. their not parasites their people and they deserve the respect any person deserves. Who we should be pointing fingers at are the corporate and government policies that bring people to this country as non-citizens, exploit them, and then try to kick them out when their visas have expired. Read a book and stop listening to FOX news

I like many Americans do not have a problem with people who come into this country legally, it is the ones who come into this country illegally that are part of the problem. Actually let me rephase that, it is corporate America and other businesses who knowingly employ illegals to get around paying Americans a liveable wage. I live in an area of Los Angeles called Koreatown there are a large number of illegals from Mexico, El Salvador and Guatamala who have many many children are working off the books, living 5 or more in a one bedroom and yet are driving very large brand new trucks. This is what I see, I have seen many of these children in my neighborhood grow up from a small child into gang members because obviously they were only born to enable their parents to stay in this country.

I pay over $600.00 per month for healthcare, yet they can walk into a hospital and get the same quality of care that I receive yet do not have to worry about paying for it. This is not fair! The one law that I really wish that the government would revise is the birthright law, that would eliminate a large number of women sneaking into the country and dropping babies.

Regarding the politicians, it has been reported that within the next 50 or more years that latinos will become the majority replacing Whites, the politicians do not question how this will happen, they only care about the votes and do not care where the votes come from. I have friends and family members on both sides those whose family came into the country legally are as upset as I am about the illegal invasion. Those whose parents came into the country illegally are all for granting blanket citizenship to all illegals and opening the borders. See the difference?

An outreach to Hispanics is just his attempt at getting as many votes as possible which is fine. However his outreach to the invading hordes of illegal immigrants from all over the world and all his talk of amnesty will cost him the election. Citizens, especially the ones from middle America that uisually vote for GOP candidates are tired of this treason. The GOP has made a huge miscalculation. There are only two possibilities now:
    1. If GOP elite continues to pander to big business??? thirst for cheap illegal slave labor it will lose a huge block of voters they have taken for granted for years. The consequence being they won???t be able to win presidential elections.
    2. If the current GOP leadership is removed and an ???American Middle Class First??? approach is re-established the party and the Country would be saved.
I don???t believe the current crop of Rinosaurs is smart enough to understand the current state of the Nation or the political climate. McCain and the others no longer speak for me or my familiy's interests. My only hope is for the future. Right now all is lost. Wake-up sheep!

  • Posted By: Marge11 @ 07/22/2008 8:18:50 AM

McCain better stop worrying about what Fernandez thinks and his appeal to a still small block of voters. The 15% Hispanic vote is not monolithic in their candidate (as the media alludes to the fact that they all support illegal aliens) McCain better focus on the majority of Americans where 80% want our immigration laws enforced and see the chaos of the illegal immigrant invasion. Conservatives wont vote for such a pandering old fool who pokes his finger in the eye of many conservative causes. And yes, we hear that he will support conservative judges for the Supreme Court. Well to that, I would also add that he supported Ruth Gader Ginsburg -- the most liberal judge of all....just another poke in the eye

This is a hot topic now at the hot inter-racial dating club ' M I X E D C U P I D .com' which is a good place for 18+ singles from each race to meet cute girls with big boobs online. This is the only site where sexy girls like discussing sports

Interesting. Tell these girls they should become interested in discussing politics instead of sports.

a lot of liberals, like me, don't want amnesty for illegals. The National Academy of Sciences found that from 1979-95, the wages of people who never completed high school plummeted nearly 30%. More than half of the drop was due to competing for jobs with immigrants.

Then there is the question of how will the US reduce greenhouse gas emissions if the population grows 50% to 438 million by 2050. 82% of that growth will be due to mass immigration according to the Pew Research Center. This will be a lose-lose for the planet, because per capita greenhouse gas emissions in Mexico, the source country for roughly half of all immigrants, are one fifth those in the US.

McCain's campaign can hope all it wants. This conservative becomes more inclined to vote for Bob Barr the more I read and hear about McCain. On the immigration issue, a McCain presidency would be as disastrous as Obama. With either, God help this country.

McCain's campaign can hope all it wants. This conservative becomes more likely every day to prefer Bob Barr. The more I read and hear from McCain's campaign, the more I believe McCain would be no better than Obama. God help this country if either become President.
