Some Sorta Shreveport Slugfest
Now here's a headline: GEORGE BUSH AND COLIN POWELL BUSTED IN BAR BRAWL. If only our job were that easy. The arrestees were actually Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright, the actors who play the presidential pair in the upcoming Oliver Stone biopic, "W."
The cast and crew were throwing a film wrap party at the Stray Cat bar in Shreveport, La., when things got out of hand. The altercation reportedly involved some bar patrons concerned that Stone's portrait of Bush would be unfair. Cops say they were called in after a crew member refused management's request to leave the premises. Charged with interfering with police, Brolin and Wright will enter pleas at a December hearing. The police department is reviewing video footage of the incident and had no comment on reports that the arresting officers may have used pepper spray, Tasers and racial slurs.

Comment: Sounds about like a normal night in Shreveport. Find the video of the woman arreested a while back. Ther cop that was dealing with her, while she was handcuffed, turn of the camera in that room. It came back on after a few minutes, her laying in a good size pool of blood. The ambulance had to come get her to take her for medical needs. Supposedly, she was alone and ran in to a wall or somethin, nocking herself out, cutting her head real good. The cop came back in, turned the camera back on, didn't even go over and ask her what happened. Why would he not ask her what had happened while HE WAS OUT OF THE ROOM? I think most people would have wanted to know how she was injured thatr way, and still cuffed. One or two cops were laughing about it, as thye paramedics were takeing her to the meat wagon. I guess them getting arrested just goes to show, they're equal opportunity abuse in Shreveport.It does seem like they didn't abuse them as bad. I don't think they busted their ownn heads.
