Comment: oil destroyed the arabs. it is a curse. it gave money to authoritarian, backward, regimes who created oppressive theocracies. oil is the worst thing that could have happened to arabs besides islam

Comment: Homosexuals should not be aloud to spend time with children and corrupt there minds. Homosexuality is just as wrong as Murder they are both depraved sick crimes against what is natural.
Both these crimes fly in the face of what is normal decient human behavior.
Anyone that supports homosexual activity is a contributor to it.
    Homosexuality is wrong.
Its is not diversity it is perverisity
They should be given the mental help they need.
It is not about left or right wing politics its about right and wrong.
Homosexuality is wrong and always will be just because you say its not does not mean its true.

Comment: Obviously Allah prefers Islam, since He gave so much oil wealth to so many Muslims. Either that or the most authoritarian religious system on earth happens to be centrally situated on the geologic clash between 3 continents.

    Take your pick.

Comment: I am glad that people can make money by investing in companies that are beneficial to humanity unlike tobacco, weapons and alcohol companies. I am 35, and will start investing based on my faith! Profit and loss aside - it gives peace inside your heart when you do the right thing. Some are void of this, so cry foul when others follow their faith - have some respect, you follow what you like, are'nt you happy ? If you have not attained peace in your heart by following whatever you are following , you are missing something, go spend your energies finding it. Just don't follow something because someone said something about someone (there is a lot of this in history BTW), use your wisdom. Peace....

Comment: The title was chosen to induce curiosity, otherwise the article is simply put an article about faith-based selection of funds.

I am glad that these funds exists, because it allows us to act upon what we believe in.

As for all those comments about "my faith is better than yours "... grow up because world leaves you behind.

Comment: These mind control cults are just like the cigarette companies. They know that if they can get you when you are young (vulnerable and impressionable) they will most likely have you for the rest of your life. On the other hand, if you can make it to adulthood without falling into one of their traps then you most likely never will. Perhaps we need some laws on the books to make indoctrinating anyone under 18 years of age into one of these mind control cults a form of child abuse.

Remember, "god" is nothing more than a nonsense word created by man to explain away all of the things we can't yet understand.

Religion is a disease of the mind, born of fear, which has done nothing but bring untold misery down upon the human race.

Comment: Religion based upon the truth is not born of fear but of a brokeness inside each of us. Fact: Jesus lived the life we should have lived and died the life we should have died. God gave his only Son as a sacrifice for us so that we would have eternal life in Christ Jesus. What has brought "untold misery down upon the human race"? Sin. Plain and simple.

Comment: Mohammed is in a bull market. Well, well, well. Guess I will invest my savings. Think I'll choose the major, burqa manufacturers. I hear it will become a trendy accessory, in the U.S. Just more colorful than the ENSLAVED muslim women's.

Cool to be a mohammed....hmmm...Who would have thunk it??? Wonder if the "Queer Eye" guy's will understand, the truth, about Islam? THEY WILL BEHEAD... YOU...YOUR FRIENDS...AND YOUR HERO NANCY PELOSI if given an opportunity. Or maybe just STONE YOU TO DEATH. Like Iran just sentenced a bunch of "adulterers", to?

God Bless America. Thank God, I'm an infidel.

A mohammed in the White House??? GOD Forbid....And HE has......

    NOBAMA!!!

Comment: You have a choice my friend, invest in the dress that nuns wear. it is very close to "burqa" (:-(, not happy ?!) - it has a headscarf which resembles what Muslim ladies wear. You MUST thank God, HE lets you and me LIVE no matter what we believe and WHAT we do. In one way or the other we are slaves of "something" or "someone" - the #1 priority in your life is your master, these women chose God to be #1 in their lieves, what have you chosen ?? Peace...

Comment: just as a point of scriptural difference with the honorable lisa miller:
there are more New Testament scriptures dedicated to financial stewardship than faith and prayer combined.

Those whom ye worship beside Him are but names which ye have named, ye and your fathers. Allah hath revealed no sanction for them. The decision rests with Allah only, Who hath commanded you that ye worship none save Him. This is the right religion, but most men know not (40) yusof

Comment: It can grow as big as it likes...for A SEASON. Seems to be a recent attraction to demons and devils. Like bugs to a light. Will not last, very long, though. WHERE SIN ABOUNDS, SO MUCH MORE GRACE.

Mohammed is now COOL. A few public stonings and beheadings will reverse that trend, however.

Then there will soon, be a re-energences of the CRUSADERS. Ya'll think one is underway. Not even close. The REAL DEAL, however, is not far away Allah will soon feel and fear, the wrath, of the most high GOD.

If your a mohammed, or a wannabe....You should sell your convenience stores and hotels. You are gonna need your cash.

      NOBAMA!!!

Comment: All of these investments will soon decline in value as the Peak Oil energy crisis deepens:

According to energy investment banker Matthew Simmons, global oil production is now declining, from 85 million barrels per day to 60 million barrels per day by 2015. During the same time demand will increase 14%.

This is like a 45% drop in 7 years. No one can reverse this trend, nor can we conserve our way out of this catastrophe. Because the demand for oil is so high, it will always be higher than production; thus the depletion rate will continue until all recoverable oil is extracted.

Alternatives will not even begin to fill the gap. And most alternatives yield electric power, but we need liquid fuels for tractors/combines, 18 wheel trucks, trains, ships, and mining equipment.

We are facing the collapse of the highways that depend on diesel trucks for maintenance of bridges, cleaning culverts to avoid road washouts, snow plowing, roadbed and surface repair. When the highways fail, so will the power grid, as highways carry the parts, transformers, steel for pylons, and high tension cables, all from far away. With the highways out, there will be no food coming in from "outside," and without the power grid virtually nothing works, including home heating, pumping of gasoline and diesel, airports, communications, and automated systems.

This is documented in a free 48 page report that can be downloaded, website posted, distributed, and emailed: http://www.peakoilassociates.com/POAnalysis.html

I used to live in NH, but moved to a safer place. Anyone interested in relocating to a nice, pretty, sustainable area, good climate with much rain and good soil?
