    Nesreen your comments are rather close minded and most certainly not based upon a clear understanding of the positive influence of oil (which was negative as well in some ways) and especially Islam had upon an otherwise backword people. I take it you you must be one of those backword people.

    These mind control cults are just like the cigarette companies. They know that if they can get you when you are young (vulnerable and impressionable) they will most likely have you for the rest of your life. On the other hand, if you can make it to adulthood without falling into one of their traps then you most likely never will. Perhaps we need some laws on the books to make indoctrinating anyone under 18 years of age into one of these mind control cults a form of child abuse.

    Remember, "god" is nothing more than a nonsense word created by man to explain away all of the things we can't yet understand.

      Religion based upon the truth is not born of fear but of a brokeness inside each of us. Fact: Jesus lived the life we should have lived and died the life we should have died. God gave his only Son as a sacrifice for us so that we would have eternal life in Christ Jesus. What has brought "untold misery down upon the human race"? Sin. Plain and simple.

      You have a choice my friend, invest in the dress that nuns wear. it is very close to "burqa" (:-(, not happy ?!) - it has a headscarf which resembles what Muslim ladies wear. You MUST thank God, HE lets you and me LIVE no matter what we believe and WHAT we do. In one way or the other we are slaves of "something" or "someone" - the #1 priority in your life is your master, these women chose God to be #1 in their lieves, what have you chosen ?? Peace...

    I am glad that people can make money by investing in companies that are beneficial to humanity unlike tobacco, weapons and alcohol companies. I am 35, and will start investing based on my faith! Profit and loss aside - it gives peace inside your heart when you do the right thing. Some are void of this, so cry foul when others follow their faith - have some respect, you follow what you like, are'nt you happy ? If you have not attained peace in your heart by following whatever you are following , you are missing something, go spend your energies finding it. Just don't follow something because someone said something about someone (there is a lot of this in history BTW), use your wisdom. Peace....

    The title was chosen to induce curiosity, otherwise the article is simply put an article about faith-based selection of funds.

    I am glad that these funds exists, because it allows us to act upon what we believe in.

    As for all those comments about "my faith is better than yours "... grow up because world leaves you behind.

      It can grow as big as it likes...for A SEASON. Seems to be a recent attraction to demons and devils. Like bugs to a light. Will not last, very long, though. WHERE SIN ABOUNDS, SO MUCH MORE GRACE.

      Mohammed is now COOL. A few public stonings and beheadings will reverse that trend, however.

    According to energy investment banker Matthew Simmons, global oil production is now declining, from 85 million barrels per day to 60 million barrels per day by 2015. During the same time demand will increase 14%.

    This is like a 45% drop in 7 years. No one can reverse this trend, nor can we conserve our way out of this catastrophe. Because the demand for oil is so high, it will always be higher than production; thus the depletion rate will continue until all recoverable oil is extracted.

    Alternatives will not even begin to fill the gap. And most alternatives yield electric power, but we need liquid fuels for tractors/combines, 18 wheel trucks, trains, ships, and mining equipment.

    We are facing the collapse of the highways that depend on diesel trucks for maintenance of bridges, cleaning culverts to avoid road washouts, snow plowing, roadbed and surface repair. When the highways fail, so will the power grid, as highways carry the parts, transformers, steel for pylons, and high tension cables, all from far away. With the highways out, there will be no food coming in from "outside," and without the power grid virtually nothing works, including home heating, pumping of gasoline and diesel, airports, communications, and automated systems.
