    The funny thing is, the homosexual person is BACKED by many women who say things like "he dresses better than I do". As if to say, He is EQUAL. He is NOT. And if it were TRUE he is BORN that way, Which its not, Then take him out the Men's Bathrooms and locker rooms and let him go in the girl's.....NOT GONNA HAPPEN right? Homosexuality is a great LIE in the phychological world

    The American society is full of double standards. There is a right winged christian church that does not preach love and peace but hatred and war. At the same time the American sex industry is in full swing massproducing sex videos for world wide export.
    In some states gay people can marry, in others there is a crime sleeping with someone of same sex.
    In the USA the crime rate is among the higest in the world and death penalty still exists (one of the highest in the world - and that is in a democratic country). Death penalty does not have any impact on the crime rate and murders.And what is the solution to the high crime rate? To be able to buy, wear and use (read shoot) weapon.
    How can a 10 year old guy have a gun and use it? How can all the massmuders happen in American schools? Because it is easy to grab a gun and use it.
    And when bigotry, hatred and prejudices result in a murder of a gay young guy, the double standard is clear and obvious.
    It is so tragic to see this happen in a country which says to be the democratic frontrunner.
    But is it?
    How can a constitutional state hold people in prison for 8 years without a fair trial in Guantanamo?

    Okay, firstly you must accept that people are allowed to be who they are, just because someone is gay or bisexual doesn't mean they are "evil" as this person commented: "help solve this evil of Homosexuality"
    Solve it?
    Solve what? Like you're going to get anywhere running around with posters saying "GAY IS EVIL" or something.

    Do you really think that is going to change people?

    Anyway, i think what that kid did to larry was awful, and i don't understand why most kids feel so strongly about homosexuality. It's not exactly doing much harm for them is it? All it is, is someone expressing that they like the same gender as what they are.

    There's nothing wrong with that.

    oviously the boy felt "harassed" by this student and nothing was done about it. It dosent make it right. But something should of been done with this larry to put his action in order. to go flaunting it in people faces and harassing people who obviously want no part of it of coarse somethiung bad gonna happen. I feel bad for the kid that was harassed.

      I dont know if we were reading the same story here, from what I understand they both were being taunted and harrassed. Maybe I read it wrong but to me it look like Larry just pushed back. There are many more issues here than just the fact that one child had gender issues and the other did not. While this was happening why were the two boys not refered to professional help, why did the one parent not have the hand gun more safely stored. Why when he did not have anything to do with the class was Brandon just sitting there. There are many ways to look at this . There are more questions right now than there are answers. To pass it off as anything but a complete breakdown of the very systems we have for children outside the home is totally irresponsible. The whole system failed both of these children. When Larry was being taunted something should have been done, when he started taunting back something should have been done , Whe Larry started to show gender identification issues something should have been done. To sit idlly by while this happened and not refered these two children to someone in a professional field who could help them was wrong. As far as I am concerned the whole school staff should be fired as they are unable to perforn the jobs the way they should be.

    This is so sad.2 lives lst because noone could hear these childrens cry for help..They wanted attention craved it..but did they get what they needed..They both must have felt so alone..And the world keeps turning,without a stutter a flutter or a pause.2 families eternally changed forever..This is so sad

    the school is accepting people in drag as teachers. Women that are dressed in Butch style are accepted. JUST BECAUSE YOU CHOOSE to sleep with a certain sex DOES NOT MEAN you should CROSS DRESS~ for you who think its biological, there is NO test ever retested with matching results by NON homosexuals ever done proving biological homosexuality. they want to influence our children RIGHT IN SCHOOL!

    WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? Just because someone is gay doesnt give someone the right to kill them. And how DARE you read this and suggest the type of gun someone should use to kill someone else. Im not sure if you were raised to be against gay people but you should accept people for who they are. Its not like they had a choice whether they were straight or gay....its how they were born. And its people like you that makes coming out the closet hard for some people. Ok im not gay or anything but still im gonna stick up for them because Larry didnt deserve to die at 15! He didnt even get to live....nobody...absolutely nobody has the right to take someones life. And one day I hope that someone you love so dearly and so much comes out and tells you that their gay. Maybe then you'll learn to accept people for who they are.

    Amazing how narrow minded the Americans in the land of the free are. Tssssss. A kid should be allowed to wear, what it wants, anybody should be allowed to freely express him/herself through clothing. Gay or not gay. Being a teenager is about experimenting and finding yourself.

    Dresscodes? Who's dresscodes? Follow the flock? People are individuals, and sueb330, if you u are happy to give up your individuality, you are free to do so. But do not try to make other people hostages of the masses' ideas of normal attire.

      Agreed, but do not force your ideas on everyone else. It is very amazing how many will cry ":personal freedom of expression" and moan about society not forcing its standards on them, while in the same breath make the comment that it is ok if they force their ideas and standards on everyone else.

    It is sad when we as a peoople advocate homosexuallity in our homes and schools. TV promotes it, along with everyother aspect of media. There is no area that has not been touched by it. Where does it stop... As a teacher I see many sub-cultures within the school, but when the school has GAY days..come on, now we add to the problems of identity crisis. We (through media) tell the world it's ok...but is it ,if this is the result??? Our kids are in trouble and we need to reconize it! Think about it...

    this is so sad. 2 lives lost..because people dont undertsand..both children were crying out for attention and noone heard them. 2 families must suffer now..And the world keeps turning without even a blink a flutter or a pause..This is so sad

    you know what? a kid coming to school in friggin DRAG is inappropriate. PERIOD. If some Minor who wants to have sex with people of the same sex feels he also has to DRESS UP like a female, is obviously psychologically warped. The bad part is, the schools EMBRACE this crap with lesbi-gay clubs started by NON school members going from school to school starting them! eEDUCATION

    It is atragedy for the 2 families but please stop using any story to make sound like the majority of us americans are anti-homosexuals , lesbians etc. we only do not agreed wit this life-style specially in from of our families in public ,malls it is dificult to explain to kids their kissing , touching in public .Do your thing in private ,hey after all is your life, but do not pretend to push it on everybody else face, we can use our freedom of choice after all you guys "preach 'open mind, freedom of choice and acceptance but when one heard you talking all that come out is venon ,name calling, intolerance ,only because we disagreed with you all. It sound so hypocritycal and close minded. There is a lot of help out ther :Exodus International, Love won out and many more if they really want to change their life-style thre is plenty of help.     I feel that some children don't always choose what their sexuality is. I feel that society needs to understand that! Some children ARE sexually abused as children by the same sex which in return is the only sexual pleasure (i say pleasure because most children don't know anything different) that they can relate to. I also agree with the comment "they aren't causing any harm to anyone". It doesn't make them bad people just because they choose a different life-style than most of us are used to. As far as lethal weapons, I feel like schools and parents need to pay more attention to children to what children can or do have. They are suppose to protect our children no matter what their sexual preferences are!!!!

    I agree with everyone who says their parents are at fault, because They Are!! I think the school also has a responsibility to the students as well. Homsexueality is wrong,as is murder, however it is not our right to judge. It is our makers. I think as parents, It is our responsibility to educate our children, not society. Don't allow them to be influenced by, tv & media( where society can talk about gay rights, gay marriages, and general acceptance.etc),, friends and sometimes extended family. Teach them OUR LAWS AS WELL AS GODS LAWS. Quit blaming everyone one for our failures as parents and role models.

The kid was 15! He didnt even get to live his life. And its people like you that make it so hard for someone thats gay to come out and tell their family and friends. I really hope that when or if you have kids that they end up being gay because maybe thats the only way you will understand especially since you cant abandon your child just because theyre gay.

    All you people should be ashame of yall selves just because Larry King was Gay dosent mean for Brandon Mclnerney to go and kill and innocent person......ok he did go over board with the nail's and make up but that still dosent give him the right the kill...ok yall all saying that Brandon was harrased by Larry why didnt Brandon's parents notice that something was wrong with there son...what if Larry King was your son and just because he was gay and a boy just shoots him...how would yall feel?people are sayin that god wants men and women together,but also in the good bible it says thye shall not kill...

    There's a reason why sodom and gomorrah were destroyed by God and homosexuality was one of the explicitly mentioned ones in all Abrahamic religions. I believe in God and his miracles even though the pessimists say tht none of these events ever happened. Personally I dont approve of homosexuality but i don't hate them either. however it is very unacceptable and rude if the gay ppl decide to flaunt it openly as not everyone thinks and feels the same way abt homosexuality. in case of larry, if he was he was old enough and aware enough to understand what it meant to be gay, then he must've been old and mature enough to be aware tht there are those who dont tolerate the kind of behavior tht he displayed and tht to taunt those ppl will provoke retribution in some form or the other. moreover the adults in these two boys lives were decidedly either selfish or ignorant or just plain cowardly to have not acted in time which just might have prevented this incident.
