Just imagine what George W. Bush would have put to canvas....Or for that matter, Dick Cheney, we are better for the loss.

An Italy, the last politician arrested for corruption, has asked to paint in cell.
The President of the Abruzzo Region, Ottaviano Del Turco, arrested in the investigation for alleged corruption of Health, can not paint in the cell, but only in the laboratory of prison: his request to that effect was rejected by the management of prison of Sulmona (L'Aquila), because the regulation of the penalty that prohibits a prisoner guard corps Instruments in the cell.

It isn't that commonly known but Churchill actually published a book about painting and why everyone should take up the hobby.just after the war. At the time anything to do with Churchill would sell in large numbers (it still does today). The book was actually a couple of articles he wrote in the 1920's cobbled together into a book with some excellent colour plates of some of his famous paintings at the back. I bought an original copy for mate of mine for Xmas last year and he loved it.
I came across this entirely useless fact whilst reseaching Churchill for my own book called WHAT WOULD CHURCHILL DO? - BUSINESS ADVICE FROM THE MAN WHO SAVED THE WORLD.
