PART 1 - BARACK OBAMAs FRIEND: Rashid Khalidi (Palestinian Activist)

Obamas relationship with Rashid Khalidi goes beyond conversation. Khalidis ties to Obama were first exposed by WND in February in a widely cited article.

According to a professor at the University of Chicago who said he has known Obama for 12 years, the Democratic presidential hopeful befriended Khalidi when the two worked together at the University. The professor spoke on condition of anonymity. Khalidi lectured at the University of Chicago until 2003 while Obama taught law there from 1993 until his election to the Senate in 2004.

Sources at the university told World Net Daily (WND) that Khalidi and Obama lived in nearby faculty residential zones and that the two families dined together a number of times. The sources said the Obamas even babysat the Khalidi children.

Khalidi in 2000 held what was described as a successful Fundraiser for Obamas failed bid for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, a fact not denied by Khalidi, who spoke to WND in February.

As WND reported, an ANTI-ISRAEL Arab group run by Khalidi's wife, Mona, received crucial funding from a Chicago nonprofit, the Woods Fund, for which Obama served as a board member with William Ayers (the notorious terrorist from infamous Weather Underground (VIDEO).

In 2001, the Woods Fund, which describes itself as a group helping the disadvantaged, provided a $40,000 grant to Khalidis Arab American Action Network, or AAAN. The fund provided a second grant to the AAAN for $35,000 in 2002.

Speakers at AAAN dinners and events routinely have taken an ANTI-ISRAEL line.
The group co-sponsored a Palestinian art exhibit, titled, The Subject of Palestine, that featured works related to what some Palestinians call the Nakba or catastrophe of Israels founding in 1948.

When Khalidi departed the University of Chicago in 2003, Obama delivered an in-person testimonial at a farewell ceremony reminiscing about conversations over meals prepared by Mona Khalidi.

According to a Los Angeles Times account, Obama said his talks with the Khalidis served as consistent reminders to me of my own blind spots and my own biases. It is for that reason that I am hoping that, for many years to come, we continue that conversation ??? a conversation that is necessary not just around Mona and Rashids dinner table, but around THIS ENTIRE WORLD.

Add the Reds and give McCain all of the up for grabs and he gets 221. By the way McCain's count includes Florida. Add the Blues and Obama gets 317. I can't see McCain improving his count, especially with the Obama registration machine adding thousands of voters every day. Have you ever been impressed by any of these self proclaimed geniuses that support Mccain on the blogs. All they seem to offer is some sort of Obama's a muslim or nobama or barry or Hussien comment. This is the state of the G Old P. Reduced to using Limbaugh type attacks because they lack the ability to thimk for themselves. On another news front. Our old friend Robert Novak was cited for hitting a pedestrian He said he didn't realize he had hit someone until a bicyclist flagged him down. the Bicyclist who wttnessed the hit and run said he had seen the pedestrian laying across Novaks windshield. Maybe they can give Novak a plea deal if he gives up cheney and Rove as the outers of Valerie Plame.

On Katie Couric tonight McCain says:

Kate Couric: Senator McCain, Senator Obama says, while the increased number of US troops contributed to increased security in Iraq, he also credits the Sunni awakening and the Shiite government going after militias. And says that there might have been improved security even without the surge.

What's your response to that?

McCain: I don't know how you respond to something that is as -- such a false depiction of what actually happened. Colonel McFarlane [phonetic] was contacted by one of the major Sunni sheiks.

Because of the surge we were able to go out and protect that sheik and others. And it began the Anbar awakening. I mean, that's just a matter of history. Thanks to General Petraeus, our leadership, and the sacrifice of brave young Americans.

I mean, to deny that their sacrifice didn't make possible the success of the surge in Iraq, I think, does a great disservice to young men and women who are serving and have sacrificed.

One problem.

The surge wasn't even announced until a FEW MONTHS AFTER the Anbar Awakening.

Question of the Day. Will George Bush and Dick Cheney have to grow a beard like Karadzic or hide in a hole like Sadaam to avoid prosecution?

Quite frankly debunked. no one anywhere is taking Mc Cain as a serious candidate except that soon to be forgotten 23% of the G Old P. All predictions for the electoral vote has obama with 300 + and McCain with a little more than 200. You mouth-breathers have lost your party to someone you swift boated when he ran against Bush/Cheney and this year again. In South Carolina the Bush/Cheney group spread the word that McCain had fathered a black child. This year Huckaby's group said he ratted out his fellow POWs . Romney said he is out of touch with the economy, something McCain confirmed himself. Now you love this guy. Why? simple, he will continue to send our finest and bravest young women and men to die in Iraq. He is willing to sacrifice our troops to gain the support of out of touch losers like yourself so he can realize his own ambition to e president. How pathetic you and your party are.

Why are you Republicans so mad at Obama? He didn't get you into a war where over 4000 of your children have been killed. He wasn't in business with the people who caused the mortgage breakdown. He didn't promise that no child would be left behind, and then leave every child behind. He isn't the reason Thousands have lost their jobs simply because the company can't afford to survive. The Dallas Cowboys are loosing to an opponent by 45-points and it's the 4th-quarter. Although the team made nice plays, the head coach and team managers made bad calls leaving the players embarrassed to be losing 45 - 0

Now star wide receiver makes a catch and scores with 0:28 seconds to go, but follows that up with a victory dance and trash talk in the end-zone as the score goes to 45 - 7. Next the managers claim victory. You and everyone know this is foolish and know the Cowboys need a lot more than a touch down to claim TRUE VICTORY.

Ditto-heads, it is the same way when Molasses McSame claims the surge worked and won the Iraq war. Americans fought and died for WMDs that were never there, and fought terrorist that were never there until the Americans got there. We lost 4,100 precious soldiers; 30,000 maimed Americans, and 700,000 Iraqi's dead, with 8-million Iraqi's displaced. $700-billion taxpayer dollars also up in smoke.

Now McSame claims the surge has won a war he hawkishly but naïvely voted for. This is "CYA" at its highest! I would not trust this guy with a troop of boy scouts. When McSame cannot tell the truth about what we Americans see in front of us, how can we possibly trust this cat when America's back is turned?
