A portion of this nation has clearly lost its mind. Wake up! Obama does not know a brigade from a platoon to a hole in the ground. This man is a scam artist who has no business being where he is. Give us a black President, no problem, but not this man. Here is the reality: Obama had a "close, personal, 20 year relationship" with a biggot named Reverand Wright......who is close friends with one of America's BIGGEST racists, Louis "I hate Jews and White Devils" Farakhan. This is the conversation at the water coolers of the nation, folks. Most Jews and many Hillary fans will NOT vote for Obama and the polls are showing it.
The Obama Fever is wearing thin. Gallop now shows a 6 point lead. Remember, John Kerry had a 6 point lead over George Bush in 2004.....and he lost in November. Same with Dukakis and Bush 1 in 1988....a double digit lead in July. And he got smoked in November.
This is the SAME nation that re-elected an unpopular President Bush during an unpopular war just 3 1/2 years ago. Translation? Watch it unfold and watch the accusations of racial bias when Obama loses. So predictable.- McCain will win in November.

Iraq: Lets See, Saddam and his Iraqi People were Isolated and Contained, Saddam kept the Peace amongst the Shiites & Sunni's, No Mass Murdering or Sectarian Killings.

Lets See, No WMD, No Over 4,095 (Honorable US Soldiers Killed Or Injured),

No Over (1 Million Iraqi Citizens Killed) based on False Pretenses (WMD's)

No Over Trillion US Dollar $$$ Spent on a Country not at Fault for (911)

No Devaluation of the US Dollar, until the Iraqi Occupation.

Saddam was Our CIA Selected Man, Our Government Supplied him, with all the Weaponry & Chemical Weaponry, he needed. And when Saddam Gased his Opposition, with Chemicals, Our US Government gave him, We did NOTHING, there were No US OutCries, until Far After the Fact.

When it was Too Late !!

Yet, Our Government makes Saddam's Chemical Gasings look like Child's Play, Compared to our Years of War Torn Carnage, Murder and Mayhem !!

This Government Sanctioned it and thats the way it is.

Now, Sen. John McCain - a (Longtime Chalabi Advocate) with MANY TIES TO THE MAN - finds himself on the receiving end of this bamboozlement.

On Tuesday, Eli Lake reported for the New York Sun that the recent decision of Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki to endorse Barack Obama's troop withdrawal plan was likely driven by Chalabi's hand.

"Maliki," Lake writes, "had been advised by the Iraqi politician Ahmad Chalabi to express public support for the Obama withdrawal plan. Asked for a comment yesterday, Mr. Chalabi, an old hand at working the American political process to the advantage of Iraq, conveyed a statement via his Washington representative, Francis Brooke: 'This is an honor I will not claim and a rumor I will not deny.'"

If the report, which is seen as a huge blow to John McCain's candidacy, is true -- and with Chalabi, skepticism is required -- it would symbolize a Shakespearean act of political betrayal. Few American figures have done more to advance Chalabi's cause and career than the presumptive Republican nominee and his closest advisers.

McCain welcomed Chalabi to Washington and "pressured the administration to GIVE HIM MONEY .

When General Anthony Zinni cast doubt upon the effectiveness of the Iraqi opposition,

McCain rebuked him at a hearing of the Senate Armed Services Committee."

When McCain made his first run for the White House, Chalabi called him his preferred candidate. Three years later McCain returned the favor, calling the Iraqi exile "A Patriot who has the Best Interests of His Country at HEART."

"HisTIES to McCain go back (18 Years)," Roston told the Huffington Post.

But it's not just McCain. The Senator's chief adviser, Charlie Black, has Earned HUNDREDS AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS LOBBYING on behalf of (Chalabi's Former Group), the Iraqi National Congress.

Another Chalabi advocate was McCain foreign policy adviser Randy Scheunemann, who promoted the exiled figure as "the new Iraqi Atatur," and championed the NOW -DEBUNKED CLAIMS that Saddam Possessed caches of WMD.

As president of the neoconservative Committee for the Liberation of Iraq, Scheunemann accused the State Department and CIA of distrusting Chalabi for "ideological reasons" (not personality concerns) during a 2003 NewsHour interview.

    OBAMA On Saddam Hussein

Now let me be clear. I suffer no illusions about Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal man. A ruthless man. A man who butchers his own people to secure his own power. . . The world, and the Iraqi people, would be better off without him.

But I also know that Saddam poses no imminent and direct threat to the United States, or to his NEIGHBORS (HUH? Obama ignores for eg that Saddam fired scuds at Israel and was paying $25k to the family of each PLO suicide bomber!!). . . .

...and that in concert with the international community he (Saddam) can be contained until, in the way of all petty dictators, he FALLS AWAY INTO THE DUSTBIN OF HISTORY.(HUH? Obama steeling words from speeches again! This one is a lift from Bush Sept 01 speech to congress)

Lets see where would Iraq be if Sadam Hussein were still around??? Oh yea the tyrant and his stockpile of uranium is gone thanks to lets see______

Progress in Iraq was not a (Sole U.S. Military Surge Success)

Majority of the Success goes to the Collective Iraq Citizens and the Sunni's Collective in Iraq.

That could CHANGE at any MOMENT !!

look at the Length that it has taken to get to this Touch & Go Moment.

McCain said "The US Troops should Stay there Indefinitely"

"For 100 Years, a 1000 years, for as long as it takes" !!!

He then Clarifies and Follows up his statements with....

"Were still in Germany, Japan & France"

He does not Clarify by saying those Countries have Enemies All around them and CHOOSE to have our Presence there....

Key Word: CHOOSE, Meaning their CHOICE

Iraq Leaders, President & Prime Minister and the iraqi People want Us Out !!!

The Bush Government is already Downsizing Troops (5-Brigades) ahead of Schedule.

    Were Withdrawing Anyway.

Bush has his Infamous "Time Horizons" and

Obama has his Timetable, Timeline and Time of Exit Strategy.

Obama has said in the past that we Needed More Troops in Afghanistan and John McCain Shot that fact DOWN !!!

Last Week Obama says send (2 Brigades) to Afghanistan and later John McCain says Send (3 Brigades)

Obama says we should have Direct Meetings with opposition Countries (Direct Diplomacy) and Now the Bush Administration, is Iniating Direct Diplomacy-talks with Iran & N. Korea.

Let John McCain have his One Moment of Solace...Thats all He'll be getting and he's Wearing that One plus he has into the GROUND !!!

McCain has Not been in Afghanistan in (2) Years and he Talks about Obama...Ha !!

McCain sure as Hell did Not back the Jim Webb Sponsored and Extensive, VA-GI Bill, that was Supported by Obama and Others, Crossing Both Political Parties and Rightly so.

    McCain what a Great Veteran

Obama is talking about the progress in Iraq like he had anything to do with the progress, he was against the surge!! The Bush administration is responsible for the progress in Iraq. McCain supported the surge that made things better in Iraq. Obama is nothing but a joke!!!

The following report was written for TD/NQ by Techdude, who hurried to complete it after his tires were slashed and a mutilated rabbit was found hanging by his front door. He is currently working on another exclusive follow-on report.

Who threatened Techdude, and why? And if his findings are correct, why did Barack Obama publish a fake Certificate of Live Birth (COLB) on his own website, FightTheSmears, and on DailyKos?

The media is doing everything possible to try to shove this man down our throats! Personally, I think this tactic is going to result in a big back lash but we will see!

    • Posted By: sjpersonal @ 07/21/2008 2:02:33 PM

      Hi Debunked,

Are we going to arguing again, we were getting along so well LOL! Hope you are having a nice day so far.

      • Posted By: Debunked! @ 07/21/2008 2:12:46 PM

Hey SJ, we don't argue, we express our different point of views and I think that's good. We may feel differently about this but to me, it seems like the media is working over time to shove Obama down our throats and from my experience, when you work over time to try to FORCE something, there is usually a back lash!

        • Posted By: Kboogie @ 07/21/2008 3:57:47 PM

Backlash? You mean what happened to FOXNEWS after trying to force Rev Wright down our throats....?

Hmmmm......kinda backfired didn't it? If I was HRC, I'd be more pizzed at FOX, then w/ the DNC.

          • Posted By: Debunked! @ 07/21/2008 4:38:03 PM

Rev Wright DID NOT back fire at all. The media allowed Obama to flip flop. At first he said he had no knowledge of Wright saying anything incendiary, then he said he did but would not be specific. Then he gave a phony speech explaining why he won't denounce him but when it became politically convenient, he DID denounce him. When it became politically, necessary, he left the church and the media let all of this slide BUT the voters didn't! As you noticed, after Rev Wright, Hill was starting to kick butt so the leaders of the DNC had to step in QUICK. FIRST, they TOTALLY dissed Hill and her supporters at the RBC hearing. They even TOOK delegates from her and gave to Obama. They made their feelings KNOWN LOUD AND CLEAR! And just to make sure he locked the nomination up, they pretty much worked over time to get enough superdelegates to endorse him so he could win!

There was absolutely NO BACK LASH with Wright, the leaders of the DNC along with Obama's campaign just worked behind the scene to ensure that he would be SELECTED!

Also, I don't think we've heard the end of Rev Wright, but we will see!

            • Posted By: Kboogie @ 07/22/2008 1:00:50 PM

Who cares what the media did? The Rev Wright story was in full force by Feb-March. The VOTERS and SUPERDELEGATES were still strongly backing Obama and he continued to win primaries. Yes, HRC began doing well at the end. But, NOT b/c of Rev Wright. She finally overcame her arrogance, changed her campaign strategy, and adopted the "fighter" mentality. It worked for her....too little, too late. By the time the DNC met in DC, it was over....we all knew it. (Well, those not motivated by delusion knew it)

Anyways, even if 100% of the delegates were seated in FL and MI, she would still be trailing. This is the point that folks like you don't want to admit. IT DIDN'T MATTER!!! HRC, MATHEMATICALLY, WOULD HAVE NEVER TAKEN THE LEAD. This left her w/ one last hope....the popular vote. But after the final poll closed, in Montana, she even lost that.

Popular Vote Total= Obama 17,535,458 vs Clinton 17,493,836
              http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/democratic_vote_count.html

              Geeeeeez....get over it!!!!!!!!!!!

              • Posted By: Debunked! @ 07/22/2008 1:27:41 PM

Actually, it was the PARTY LEAD and the MEDIA who was still backing Obama in full force and put him in the position he is in.

Obama DID NOT get more popular votes than Clinton. The source you presented does not include ALL of the votes Clinton received. And actually, you prove my point. Clinton would NOT have been trailing had they had a revote but of course the party leaders weren't going to let this happen.

Why am I even debating with you! All you do is irritate me like a fly!
Go respond to someone else's post!!!!

Poor DB, still delusional amidst the obvious proof, source, references being shoved in your face. It's an antidote to the KOOL-AID you're drinking. Just take a sip. LOL!!!

"Only the PARTY LEAD and the MEDIA"?!?!?! I said HRC began to rally, but Obama still crushed her in half of the remaining primaries. And please, oh please show me your source showing the final tally of Democratic votes. Numbers don't lie. You have no idea what the effect a revote would have had. You have no proof of what popular opinion would have been.

BUT, even if she was awarded the victories in FL and MI, MATHEMATICALLY, SHE STILL WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO OVERCOME OBAMA'S DELEGATE LEAD.

                  You're an idiot!

To be honest, I do tend to see more negative segments on McCain than on Obama, but that just maybe McCain's fault. I mean I am sure thant when I watch Countdown tonight there will be some joke about McCain blaming Obama for the gas prices. I mean seriously Debunked, that is rather silly, as I would blame the Bush and the ineffective Congress, but to blame Obama??????

Everyone who gives to United Way......Note this....The Democratic Party has a ploy to sanitize the Denver streets of the 4,000 homeless people during their convention. With funds from the Denver Road Home, a branch of the Democratic mayor's office combating homelessness USING UNITED WAY MONEY, the Democratics will drive the homeless to movie theaters, the Denver zoo, the Museum of Nature & Science, or to bingo games to rid them off the streets from TV cameras and the media, ALL THE EVENTS WILL BE FREE TO THE HOMELESS (wow!!) funded by your gift to United Way.........The Democratic Party and Obama really have some wonderful ideas, huh?

It is actually a creative way to get them off the streets. Makes sense. Especially with the homeless Vietnam vets that Denver has alot of who they say get distressed by a big hubbub of people coming into the city, flashing bulbs, etc.

Obama reminds me of the emperor in "The Emperor's New Suit". He has nothing, but his aides have convinced him and others that he has. In the end, everyone will see right through the empty rhetoric.

Obama's previous statement that he was against the war, a war that he did not have to vote yes or no for since he wasn't in the Senate comes to mind. Now, after criticizing the surge, he moves slightly center by saying that it had some successes, but criticizes the costs. What are we to believe? His speech today was more of the "What have my advisers told me the people want to hear?" baloney. I'm not buying it, and I don't believe most Americans are either. This is the kind of change Obama talks about, changing his mind that is!!!

    • Posted By: Kboogie @ 07/22/2008 1:12:33 PM

Actually, MOST Americans are buying it. He's leading by an average of 5 points in the polls, and the Electoral Map shows a 255 to 163 vote lead in OBAMA'S favor.

Obama has ALWAYS acknowledged that the surge has minimized American troop's deaths. He's never denied that. His criticism has been the costs from the very beginning. How many surges are we going authorize? How much more money are we going to throw at this war where there's STILL NO EXIT STRATEGY?........and our financial position, domestically, is weakening? Why are we in Iraq anyway, and not focusing on the military campaigns in Afghanistan and Pakistan? THESE ARE HIS POSITIONS, AND HE'S NEVER SWAYED FROM THEM.

So, Obama mentioning the success of the "surge" is a factual acknowledgement; NOT a "move to the center".

      • Posted By: citron16 @ 07/22/2008 1:34:34 PM

The fact is Obama was against the surge and now he agrees it was a good thing!! Obama is always changing his mind, that is the only change he is good for!!!!!!!!!!

        • Posted By: Kboogie @ 07/22/2008 2:22:25 PM

"A good thing".......? Please, oh please, provide the source for that quote. He acknowledged that the surge made the territory safer for the troops, but NEVER "a good thing".

          C'mon now....don't get carried away.

        • Posted By: Bass Pro @ 07/22/2008 1:49:42 PM

Totally wrong, Barack simply said put 30,000 of our well trained troops in and there will be improvement. Not long range improvement! It's not unlike what the State Troopers do over the holidays when they are out in force and drivers react by obeying the speed limit. Come Tuesday morning it back to pedal to the medal. Bottom line, any action that is unsustainable is window dressing and doomed to failure. McCain's plan is actually workable, total commitment for 100 years. Only an imbecile could support that plan.

Fellow Viet Nam Vets Chime in on John McCain and his so called "Torture" at the hands of the N. Viet Namese !!!

A declassified DOD document reports an interview between POW McCain and Dr. Fernando Barral, a Spanish psychiatrist who was living in Cuba at the time. The interview was published in the Havana Granma in January 1970.

According to the DOD report, the meeting between Barral and McCain (which was photographed by the Vietnamese) took place away from the prison at the office of the Committee for Foreign Cultural Relations in Hanoi. During the meeting, POW McCain sipped coffee and ate oranges and cakes with his interrogator.

While talking with Barral, McCain seriously violated the military Code of Conduct by failing to evade answering questions "to the utmost" of his ability when he, according to the DOD report, helped Barral by answering questions in Spanish, a language McCain had learned in school.

1973 - McCain was released from the Hilton on March 15, 1973.

Two Former POWs Say They Doubt McCain Was Physically Abused

1999 - March 25, 1999, The Phoenix New Times: Ted Guy and Gordon "Swede" Larson, two former POWs, who were McCain's senior ranking officers (SRO's), at the time McCain says he was tortured in solitary confinement, told the New Times that while they could not guarantee that McCain was not physically harmed, they doubted it.

"Between the two of us, it's our belief, and to the best of our knowledge, that no prisoner was beaten or harmed physically in that camp [known as "The Plantation"]," Larson says. ". . . My only contention with the McCain deal is that while he was at The Plantation, to the best of my knowledge and Ted's knowledge, he was not physically abused in any way. No one was in that camp. It was the camp that people were released from."

Big Note: In 1993, during one of his many trips back to Hanoi, McCain asked the Vietnamese not to Make Public the Records they hold Pertaining to Returned U.S. POWs.

      Omaar:

To be fair, Granma is the official press organ of the Cuban Communist Party. So anything published in there has to be taken with a grain of salt.

Doesn't it seem like Al-Maliki is pretty muck endorsing Obama? He acctualy said that he thinks that Obama's time frame for withdrawl is the correct one. This is amazing.

McCain indicates U.S. troops could withdraw in 2 years

    http://www.reuters.com/article/newsOne/idUSN2136345520080722

McCain now says We can Leave within (2 Years) because the SURGE has WORKED, when McCain knows Full Well, that the (WHOLE) Overules the (SUM) and the SUM is the Iraqi Sunni's and Iraqi's Citizens that Stopped the Violence. Plus the 5 Brigades are leaving Iraq today, ahead of schedule, with More Downsizing to come.

BUFFALO, New York (Reuters) - Republican presidential candidate John McCain appeared to leave a door open on Monday to a large-scale drawdown of U.S. troops from Iraq in the next two years.

McCain, who has wrapped up his party's White House nomination, has long argued against setting a timetable for U.S. troop withdrawal.

But the discussion on troop levels has shifted in recent days after Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki seemed to endorse Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's call for troops to be gone within 16 months of his taking office.

Obama met with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad on Monday, and an Iraqi government spokesman said Maliki told the Illinois senator conditions on the ground should dictate troop withdrawals.

After a meeting with former President George H.W. Bush, McCain was asked whether it was conceivable for U.S. troops to be fully pulled out of Iraq in about two years.

"I think they could be largely withdrawn," the Arizona senator replied, citing the success of the "surge" strategy of increasing U.S. troop levels in increasing security in the country.

"As I've said, we have succeeded. This strategy is not (just) succeeding, we have succeeded. And of course as we all know it has to be based on conditions on the ground."

McCain said U.S. military success had made it possible for troops to return. "When you win wars, troops come home. And we are winning," he said. Continued...

Not being a McCain fan here is my answer of why he may appear to be changing his position on a draw down. There is a large segment of the voters that want to hear certian things. If you do not tell them what they want to hear then they will not support you. Being in sales I've always said "if I could just tell people what they want to hear then I could sell everyone". I still believe that. Some people refuse to face the facts about a subject. The facts just make them mad because it does not fit their template. Obama has done this from day one. He is smart enough to realize that people are unhappy with the war as am I and he is feeding them what they want to hear. It appears that McCain may be trying this same approach. I do not think it will work for him because he is not slick enough to pull it off. He also knows to much which works against him. I can take a new salesperson and feed them what I want because they don't know any better. They will do much better at selling it because they are so uninformed about the subject that they pitch what they've been fed without question. Bill Clinton was very good at doing this same thing. His wife on the other hand was not because she actually understood the issues in more detail which like McCain worked against her. I know this will make you Obama supporters mad and maybe even some McCain supporters. Oh Well!!!

That referred to an ABCNews.com posting asserting that McCain appeared to confuse Iraq and Afghanistan in a ???Good Morning America??? interview with ABC???s Diane Sawyer, who asked whether the "the situation in Afghanistan is precarious and urgent.???

McCain responded: ???I'm afraid it's a very hard struggle, particularly given the situation on the Iraq/Pakistan border," McCain said. The ABC posting added: ???Iraq and Pakistan do not share a border. Afghanistan and Pakistan do.???

Unfortunately for McCain, that wasn???t an isolated slip. Among the other lapses:

??? ???Somalia??? for ???Sudan???: As recounted in a reporter???s pool report from McCain???s Straight Talk Express bus on June 30, the senator said while discussing Darfur, a region of Sudan: "How can we bring pressure on the government of Somalia?"

Senior adviser Mark Salter corrected him: ???Sudan.???

??? ???Germany??? for ???Russia???: A YouTube clip from last year memorializes McCain referring to Vladimir Putin of Russia ??? following a trip to Germany ??? as ???President Putin of Germany.???

??? This spring, McCain said troops in Iraq were ???down to pre-surge levels??? when in fact there were 20,000 more troops than when the surge policy began.

??? Also this spring, McCain twice appeared to mistake Sunnis and Shiites, two branches of Islam that split violently.

??? In Phoenix earlier this month, McCain referred to Czechoslovakia, which has been divided since Jan. 1, 1993, into the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He also referred to Czechoslovakia during a debate in November and a radio show in April.

??? In perhaps the most curious incident, McCain said earlier this month that as a prisoner of war in Vietnam, he had tried to confuse his captors by giving the names of Pittsburgh Steelers starting players when asked to identify his squadron mates. McCain has told the story many times over the years ??? but always correctly referred to the names he gave as members of the Green Bay Packers.
