Comment: I too am looking for the family connection to W Churchill. In fact my youngest brother's middle name is Winston after him. We are Phillips, but I believe the connection is on my paternal grandmother's side. She was a Kittredge and it further went to her father's side I believe. He married Laura Adelaide Webster, niece of Daniel Webster (the "Dictionary" guy) But it could be from the Phillips side. I'm trying to find the line. I work with our family's geneology. It's quite fasinating the way it ties in with history.
Comment: I agree with Celia Sandy's having recently written a book myself that takes the basic principles of how Churchill managed WW2 and applies them to modern business, it is surprising how relevant his methods of managing the war apply to modern business. My book is called What Would Churchill Do? - Business advice from the man who saved the world. During a recent book signing tour of England it was truly gratifying to see how much people still cherish the memory of Churchill.
