You are racist and therefore sick as H-LL
Dobson should get off his high-horse and endorse McCain. I am a moderate Republican and totally support McCain, but understand that if McCain has a shot, he must drag those on the right with him. The prospect of Obama in office is frightening--that should be enough to get anyone on the right to vote for McCain.
stop judging others and get the log out of your own eye first.
Dobson is a flip-flopper!

As Obama said in the Faith Forum, his "entire trajectory...has been to talk about how Democrats need to get in church."
It isn't about him living in faith, it's about reaching out to those who live in faith. He appears to be one of those "big-city elites" who think small town people's religious beliefs and lives are stupid, something they "cling to" instead of moving forward and embracing change, and he said as much in that California fundraiser when talking with those left coast elites. His effort to get democrats talking about religion has certainly worked, but perhaps not in his favor.
Senator McCain as well as other candidates for national as well as state and local office would do well to decline to seek, and reject when offered, endorsement from the likes of this Dobson and his ilk. These individuals are poster-children for what has turned our nation into a pariah on the international scene and filled our political discourse with hate, division, and mean-spiritedness.

Dobson is a weasel.
Dobson is an unchristian political mis-leader.
Support the seperation of church and hate.

Since I don't really know how to write the sounds of throwing up, I'll leave it to the imaginations of the other posters and readers.....Yucko!!
Dobson is cut from the same cloth as all religiously motivated hate mongers in the world - regardless of their belief system. If he were a muslim he would feel at home in any of the stricter theocracies in the middle east. He would probably have a job running some kind of vice squad that goes around arresting people for being gay, out without a male escort, listening to music, painting, or selling alcohol. He is a member of a religious extremist group right here in America. Focus on the Family is nothing more than that and good christians an good Americans should see it for what it is. Groups like his are in large part responsible for the kind of politics we have been suffering in this country for at least the last decade. Tolerance of people like this in the middle east by middle eastern communities led to the growth of terrorism there. Do not tolerate his kind in America!
Dobson can't stand the thought of being out of the attention of the media. He will suck it up and support McCain because the alternative is to be irrelevant and unnoticed. He lives for his ego.
republicans are against big, intrusive government. unless it involves stuff like abortion or gay marriage. then they are happy to let the gub'ment tell people what is right or wrong. repubs value life - unless they are arguing for the ability of government to kill prisoners. the separation of church and state has crumbled under bush. teaching creationism is a joke. people like dobson are dangerous.
Dobson can't stand anything that is not Republican. He is going to endorse McCain, he is just waiting for McCain to come crawling before him. He will never in his life say any thing good about a democrat . Obama does not stand a chance because he is not in Dobson's book of life.
Dr. Dobson loves the Lord and we Christians are very thankful for his comments. In this murky sea of politics, we appreciate his efforts to help us make the right choices.
It's a shame that non of his choices are right. Just sight wing. And a nut job at that.
I think Dobson should look at himself before looking elsewhere. He is suppoose to be born again christian.
We christians have this ability because of the millions and millions of protestants who have given there lives to be able to seperate us from the catholic church.
So what does Dobson do? He accepts a "doctorate" from a catholic university. He is helping them to legetimize the catholic faith. How 2 faced is that? H makes me sick to my stomach. And Dobson, if you're reading this, you know what you did was wrong. Don't try to justify it you worm. Just know that you will be responsible for the damage to the cause that millions of protestants have died for.
I've never been a fan of Dobson. He's a virurlent homophobe and a strange mix of bully in terms of how he deals with those to don't cowtow to his beliefs and wimp is terms of how he makes controversial statements and is defensively whining or backtracking days later. I wish he didn't have the influence he does; it a said fact.
Beyond that, Obama and McCain are the worst two choices I've faced as a voter since I first cast a vote for president in 1980. Usually I can go the lesser of two evils route, but with Hillary out of the picture (who I could have supported easily), I'm left with an empty shirt and an increasingly uncomfortable looking old man.
I was so very disappointed in Dobson's twisted and irrational "review" of Obama's speech that I am not surprised he would do this. The man is seriously unbalanced! I reviewed the speech and respons with a coworker who has listened to Dobson for 20 years, and even he found it disturbing. You are right about him grasping at straws in supportin McCain. Sadly, Obama seems to me to be far and away the more Christian of the two candidates! He just does not support the extreme vision of "Old Testament Christians" like Dobson.
Dobson lost out big time by not giving rousing support for Mitt Romney. He didn't like the fact that Romney wasn't his brand of Christianity, but now he needs to support someone who is less Christian on the issues than Romney. Romney was the best choice for America - perhaps in 2012 we will wake up as a nation and vote Romney into office.
Mr. McCain is the only choice for conservative people. A non vote is a vote for Mr. Obama. Mr. McCain will work with people on both sides of the aisle. That is probably why some think he is too liberal. Mr. Obama hasn't worked with anyone on any side of the aisle. Look at his "Present" votes on all major issues.
