Funny how Israeli media doesn't have the little F@ggot up their ass like the media in the U.S. does. Israeli media publishes his FULL name, questions his father, and even tells about his "upbringing" in Indonesia. Israel sees him for what he really is, a double talking con. Even with the American press following the little pu$$ around, his poll numbers flat line. Wonder why he isn't taking micHELLe with him? Funny how the media don't show the protest in Israel where ever he went.

Hello H. Not very nice content in your comment, still, nice to 'see' you back. How are things going?

Hey Pia - Kinda sucking right now, been busy trying to sell off things, closing on my house, etc. I will try to catch you this weekend...
But you have to admit, "Barry" didn't do too good in Israel, they can see right through the wuss.

Hi H. A shame things aren't going well for you. You must be very busy these days.

Wrong about Obama in Israel. He did good and he is no wuss. He's tough! Trust me H, you wouldn't want to fight me lately!

          • Posted By: Huachuca @ 07/26/2008 5:15:10 AM

Obama doesn't have Michelle with him because he's not going to fall! Have you ever wondered why Cindy stands closer to McCain than a siamese twin? She's there to catch him. When they come down the stairs of Cindy's jet, it's like viewing a NASCAR race. One expects a crash any second! Too bad Cindy wasn't on stage the other day to prompt him, ala Nancy Reagan, about the Iraq/Pakistan Border.

The Obama show is beginning to look like a comedy!

    • Posted By: sjpersonal @ 07/24/2008 2:36:31 PM

Debunked how is Obama beginning to look like a comedy. I have only heard glowing reports from our press and the international press. If McCain is the best candidate then neither he nor his supporters should be upset about the fact that the world finds him extremely charming, informative, open, interesting and engaging. I do not understand all of the criticism for his travels, we are not paying for it his campaign is paying for this trip, which is being funded by his supporters.

As I remember McCain had been criticizing Obama for not traveling but now that he is and is being extremely well received by the rest of the world, why is this now a problem?

A tragedy. Let's hope it remains a personal one and does not become ours too.

      • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 07/24/2008 9:40:20 AM

The tragedy would be more young men and women dying for McCain.

    • Posted By: Bass Pro @ 07/24/2008 8:22:17 AM

There is certainly nothing funny about McCain's plan to send our young me and women to die just to realize his own selfish ambition. I can understand why you would support him. Your party is on the edge of extiction and you're bailing as fast as you can. how can you be an enabler to a man who would send troops to the slaughter just to be elected. Aren't you just as bad?

You did after all post about me voting for Pres. Bush as if I should be ashamed of it. How are you any different voting for McCain? At least I'm going a totally different route in this election. You? You like Hillary and you are voting McCain to get back at Obama because she lost. Yes, Hillary lost all by herself. Obama didn't cause it , she did it to herself so stop blaming Obama. Yep, voting for McCain out of revenge, that's smart.

Why isn't anyone talking about the white elephant in the room? McCain. Interesting that all the Republicans can do is attack Obama on either his religion or his race. Which is childish and dangerous when you consider his opponent.

    McCain:
    - Abandoned his disabled wife and 3 kids for a younger, richer beer heiress only to then abandon her after a stroke for her to learn to walk on her own. That's his character - always trading up.
    - Left his values behind to get into bed with the private contractors in Iraq: Haliburton, Blackwater, big oil, KBR. They will do anything to get and keep him in office. He will keep us in Iraq - and they are making a killing there.
    - Got into bed with Big Oil - because they can trust him to drill in our pristine areas - any talk of getting off oil is a lie.

I can go on -- the question I have is: To all you Obama - bashers, why would McCain make a great president?

    • Posted By: neocon @ 07/25/2008 2:26:19 PM

Because it's typical left wing slander.

  • Posted By: neocon @ 07/25/2008 2:25:07 PM

College-educated Obama supporters, when asked why they back him, nearly always insist that his election--as a mixed-race, mixed-heritage president--would transform America's image abroad which I could give a rats behind about. You almost never heard that argument from blue-collar voters, especially blue-collar men, who Pew polls show are the voting bloc least concerned about America's international standing and most supportive of GOP arguments that the best way to ensure peace is through military strength, not diplomacy.

European cheers may strengthen Obama at Starbucks, but it remains to be seen whether they will sweeten his prospects at Dunkin' Donuts.

Obama never broke a sweat because the American media was fanning him off the entire trip...
      I remember things like this...
Senator Clinton, Just how exactly are you going to reform the healthcare system?
How are you going to get the troops out of Iraq?
How are you going to improve the economy?
      Senator Obama,
You look uncomfortable, may we get you a pillow?

Almost like Affirmative action for the presidency isn't it?

You still fail to comprehend what consequences could follow so your dumb. Bout cover it? BTW I thought mommy was a white lady from Kansas. Most here, as you have read, view you as a wife-beater, blow-hard, low-life with little moral and less standard. You have yet to write anything with any meaning or truth. Most here would assume you are "trailer" just by the immaturity of your words and lower education bully-tactics. Maddie has been a good Republican poster, and Pia has been honest in her emotion and excitement. You have been just an uncommon failure.

And it came to pass, in the eighth year of the reign of the evil Bush the Younger (The Ignorant), when the whole land from the Arabian desert to the shores of the Great Lakes had been laid barren, that a Child appeared in the wilderness.

The Child was blessed in looks and intellect. Scion of a simple family, offspring of a miraculous union, grandson of a typical white person and an African peasant. And yea, as he grew, the Child walked in the path of righteousness, with only the occasional detour into the odd weed and a little blow.

When he was twelve years old, they found him in the temple in the City of Chicago, arguing the finer points of community organisation with the Prophet Jeremiah and the Elders. And the Elders were astonished at what they heard and said among themselves: ???Verily, who is this Child that he opens our hearts and minds to the audacity of hope????

    • Posted By: neocon @ 07/25/2008 9:35:47 AM

And so it was, in the fullness of time, before the harvest month of the appointed year, the Child ventured forth - for the first time - to bring the light unto all the world.

He travelled fleet of foot and light of camel, with a small retinue that consisted only of his loyal disciples from the tribe of the Media. He ventured first to the land of the Hindu Kush, where the

Taleban had harboured the viper of al-Qaeda in their bosom, raining terror on all the world.

And the Child spake and the tribes of Nato immediately loosed the Caveats that had previously bound them. And in the great battle that ensued the forces of the light were triumphant. For as long as the

Child stood with his arms raised aloft, the enemy suffered great blows and the threat of terror was no more.

From there he went forth to Mesopotamia where he was received by the great ruler al-Maliki, and al-Maliki spake unto him and blessed his Sixteen Month Troop Withdrawal Plan even as the imperial warrior Petraeus tried to destroy it.

And lo, in Mesopotamia, a miracle occurred. Even though the Great Surge of Armour that the evil Bush had ordered had been a terrible mistake, a waste of vital military resources and doomed to end in disaster, the Child's very presence suddenly brought forth a great victory for the forces of the light.

And the Persians, who saw all this and were greatly fearful, longed to speak with the Child and saw that the Child was the bringer of peace. At the mention of his name they quickly laid aside their intrigues and beat their uranium swords into civil nuclear energy ploughshares.

From there the Child went up to the city of Jerusalem, and entered through the gate seated on an ass. The crowds of network anchors who had followed him from afar cheered ???Hosanna??? and waved great palm fronds and strewed them at his feet.

In Jerusalem and in surrounding Palestine, the Child spake to the Hebrews and the Arabs, as the Scripture had foretold. And in an instant, the lion lay down with the lamb, and the Israelites and Ishmaelites ended their long enmity and lived for ever after in peace.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows a bounce for Barack Obama. The presumptive Democratic nominee attracts 46% of the vote while John McCain earns 41%. When "leaners" are included, it's Obama 49% and McCain 44%.

I have no interest or care about McCain or to go into detail to defend McCain. Im voting for Hillary if she is on the ballot Depending what happens at the DNC, I may end up voting for McCain, lesser of evils. . At least not until after the DNC. Obama does have a long list of hair raising associations. all of which Obama acknowledged as being the case that I have presented in this site so far. . He just doesnt get into detail with the media as to the extent the relationships went. And they didnt ask. Shows that he will make connections with any unsavory people all in support of political expediency. You say, go ahead and make another list. Okay. Number three friend will arrive today or tomorrow depending how time I have today.

I can't wait for the era of American Pompousness. Surely this is the correct way (not like that other way) for you to pursue your manifest destiny, as the world watches on in awe.

    • Posted By: Galasso @ 07/23/2008 9:08:05 PM

Pompousness? How soon we forget. I remember when DeGaulle demanded that ALL American soldiers vacate France immediately and all US Bases be closed. Lyndon Johnson asked him if that included our dead in Normandy. There was no response. There was the Berlin airlift after WWII that saved thousands from a life in despair from the scurrilous Russians. The Kuwaits have already forgotten that we saved their worthless hides after Saddam thundered into Kuwait like Ghegnis Khan and raped and pillaged the country. When asked about the "American Empire" Colin Powell said that we have never used an Army to seize ground for but have only asked for that small space to bury our dead if necessary. That's not pompous by any measure. I don't think the sacrifice of the people in the military who stand on the wall and say no one is going to hurt you on my watch is "pompous". The Europeans are living fat and large today because of the billions of dollars we poured into the European Reconstruction programs via the Marshall Plan that jump started their economies after the war. And today we shovel out foreign aid like Halloween candy. The Philippinos have a saying "Yankee go home - but take me with you." Pompous indeed!

Not kidding and Obama is not presenting himself as already elected. He just happens to be the popular candidate while McCain is taking yeat another of his senior citizen nap. No offense to senior citizens btw.

        • Posted By: Galasso @ 07/23/2008 11:42:15 PM

Obama believes it is his destiny to become president. Scary if you think about it.

      • Posted By: jnakhoul @ 07/24/2008 11:03:14 AM

i should be used to this, but not yet. There are some serious flaws in your arguement. We put saddam in power, we invest "aid" in countries to ensnare them in permenant debt and squeeze them when we need something. the Philipines is a perfect example. When we need doctors we issue hundreds of thousands of visas to their doctors and now they don't have enough to care for their own citizens. the US does not just give and give without conditions and even if its not overt the us is still engaged in imperialism

        • Posted By: Galasso @ 07/24/2008 6:08:38 PM

Here's some flaws in your response. Those doctors vigorously apply to come here. No one goes out recruiting doctors. Having worked in embassies and watched the consular section in action, I can tell you about the lines outside the building. We did support Saddam against the rabid Iranians and I'm not dure that was as grand a mistake as one might believe nowadays. We have poured billions into foreign countries in the form of aid and loans. Many of those loans are written off. And Yes we do expect something from those (third world) governments that we send huge sums of taxpayer money to - we expect no human rights violations, we expect them to comport themselves accordingly with their neighbors, and we expect them not to form alliances or accept sustenance and military armament from rogue states -- and for those nations who don't agree - there will be no aid. Richard Nixon said that 75% of the world's governments are run by gangsters. The US has a balancing act to maintain - and use the aid on an individual basis. As far as "ensnaring and squeezing" governments - that is an absurdity and a fantasy. The Philippinos elected a radical Congress and expelled the US in one fell swoop - and sorely regretted it afterwards. The income they lost from Clark and Subic was substantial. Give me one example where the US has shown itself to be an "Imperial Power".

Because you cant figure this out on your own I will dumb it up for you.
I use the word poor because I am sympathetic to how naive you are to the way the world and politics actually work in this country. You may commit suicide once you find out how things are done here. And yes, you massiah included. No referrence to your financial background. Get it? Easy enough for you?

And yes dear pie face, you are one of the most gullible people to ever grace the internet I have ever seen. Why do you think everyone other then the ones using this blog as a sort of "chat room" Call you gullible and naive? I'd suggest both of you (bass pro) figure out how to use a phone or e-mail each other. Sorry that they shut down Yahoo chat but this is not the place to find the new love of your life. Take care and I hope I explained the obvious clearly enough that even you could understand it.

no worries Pia, he has been hit in the head one time too many and so he rants and raves and thinks he knows everything about everything, quite the contrary. The guy is probably on roids.

Obama loves Farrakhan? There is not even an association between the two. Except for they both live in Chicago. Farrakhan did "endorse" Obama and Obama pretty much told him to f**k off.

An Open Letter to the Jewish Community:

As leaders of the Jewish community, none of whose organizations will endorse or oppose any candidate for President, we feel compelled to speak out against certain rhetoric and tactics in the current campaign that we find particularly abhorrent. Of particular concern, over the past several weeks, many in our community have received hateful emails that use falsehood and innuendo to mischaracterize Senator Barack Obama???s religious beliefs and who he is as a person.

These tactics attempt to drive a wedge between our community and a presidential candidate based on despicable and false attacks and innuendo based on religion. We reject these efforts to manipulate members of our community into supporting or opposing candidates.

Attempts of this sort to mislead and inflame voters should not be part of our political discourse and should be rebuffed by all who believe in our democracy. Jewish voters, like all voters, should support whichever candidate they believe would make the best president. We urge everyone to make that decision based on the factual records of these candidates, and nothing less.

      Sincerely,

William Daroff, Vice President, United Jewish Communities

Nathan J. Diament, Director, Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America

Abraham Foxman, National Director, Anti-Defamation League

Richard S. Gordon, President, American Jewish Congress

David Harris, Executive Director, American Jewish Committee

Rabbi Marvin Hier, Dean, Simon Wiesenthal Center

Rabbi David Saperstein, Director, Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism

Phyllis Snyder, President, National Council of Jewish Women

Hadar Susskind, Washington Director, Jewish Council for Public Affairs

It's good to know that CBS, ABC, Politico and bunches of others are getting together to report how simpletons try to smear Mr. Obama. You're not new Mr. Sportslock09, you're predictable and coarse. None of what you say will be believed by the masses, and you focal group is dwindling with every hurtful comment. Maybe you are hear to do nothing but cause hurt and injury. Mr. Obama did well, the news reported it, and it hurts you. The Jewish community in Politico came out against Obama blog smear campaigns and warn those who would attempt to believe any of the outrageous accusations to stop and think. What does that tell you about your insecurities and envy? At one time GWB was hot, Gore was hot, the Clinton's were hot, Kerry was hot, Mondale was hot, Ferraro was hot. The reason you guys post so hard and so angry is because McCain is the only presidential candidate in history to never be hot. Obama is, and that's who will get the coverage. I think you should stop and re-think who is gullible.

Fabulous post, thank you. Of course those to whom you are directing it are unable to mentally absorb your message. They are warm and cozy in their hate and yes racism.

Oprahma does not even remember what Senate committee in which he sits? Tired? Nobody is that tired. The media has officially become an 'Oprahma' apologist. Canada is looking better every day.

Go ahead, be my guest, move to Canada. More room for the true Americans.

Pia, you claim that a vote for Obama is less war? Have you read or heard his recent statements concerning Afghanistan....he wants a Surge there! What do you think the additional troops will do in Afghanistan, Barbecue? No they will fight and some will die....Obama will send troops to their deaths.

    • Posted By: befair @ 07/24/2008 2:25:11 PM

Sen. Obama has made a very smart assessment of the situation in Afghanistan and commanders on the ground in that region are and have been asking for an increase in troops on the ground for a long time. The situation in Afghanistan continues to deteriorate and had Pres. Bush not taken his eye off Afghanistan in the first place, to invade Iraq, the picture on the ground there would most likely be a much better one than we are seeing now. The next president, who ever it is, will be charged with cleaning up the mess that the current president has created.

      • Posted By: SPORTLOCK09 @ 07/24/2008 7:20:44 PM

        Correction,
Senator Obama's ADVISORS made an assessment. Obama has no experience therefore he doesnt assess anything. He asks what he should think. Kinda like, you!

        • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 07/25/2008 7:06:55 AM

He has his 300 spartans you know.

        • Posted By: raddave @ 07/24/2008 7:41:02 PM

Uhm, that is the JOB of advisors, to assess and advise. At least Obama did not have to have one of his advisors lean into his ear during a press conference and remind him that Al Qaeda is not going to Iran and being trained.

      • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 07/25/2008 7:03:37 AM

My comment was to Pia's assertion that if Obama was POTUS there would be no more troops killed. Read her comment and see for yourself.
It's absurd to think that Obama, who now wants the Surge Implemented in Afghanistan, will have no troops fatalities. Troops will die under an Obama administration just like in a McCain administration. Or do you think Obama's mythical powers of talk will save all those dead Marines?

You people need to remember that our mission for Afghanistan was to overthrow the Taliban, which we did. Then it was up to NATO to help with the rebuilding efforts.....they failed. We need to send in more troops because NATO not the US failed its mission in Afghanistan.

For a No War candidate like Obama, he sure seems willing to go to war lately, Afghanistan, Pakistan and now seems like he will with Iran.....Obama is a fake and will tell you anything you want to hear....a typical politician nothing more.

  • Posted By: MartinCarmel @ 07/24/2008 8:34:55 PM

Oooops! Obama's "HUGE" lead is now down to only 3 points! Gallop polls are much accurate. And remember....Kerry had a 6 point lead over Bush in July 2004....and lost in November. Dukakis had a 10 point lead over Bush-1 in July 1988....and lost. This is the same nation that elected an unpoular president during an unpopular war just 3 1/2 years ago.
    - McCain will win in November. Sit back and watch.

    • Posted By: no bigots here @ 07/25/2008 1:01:09 AM

Have you ever been to the horse races? Well this horserace has not even started yet, and everyone is hooting and hollering as if the fat lady has sung. Who gives a fudge about the stupid polls because today I like McSame, tomorrow I like Billary, and next week I like Obamanite. Lets see what happens after the conventions, the rest of this is all chest beating bs that we all have to endure until November.

  • Posted By: MartinCarmel @ 07/24/2008 8:37:35 PM

Much (more) accurate than Newsweek's biased polls, should I say....

  • Posted By: Zombiehero @ 07/24/2008 10:28:57 AM

Cute Pia, Drillin and Killin....yes McCain is a mass murderer....and Obama is a Hamas terrorist too...I think your getting desperate now....a little buyers remorse?

    • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 07/24/2008 12:40:26 PM

No remorse, no desperation. This is how I feel and so do many others. Zombie, you and other Mac supp. posted negatives about O for months now. Some have posted all kinds of smears and lies about Obama. He has been accused of everything under the sun, he, his name and his wife have been dragged through the mud! When I post anything negative about McCain you get all bent out of shape. This is politics, don't take it so personal. You told me this yourself not too long ago.

      • Posted By: SPORTLOCK09 @ 07/24/2008 7:21:20 PM

And the desperate sheep goes baahhhhhhhhh

        • Posted By: Pia1981 @ 07/24/2008 7:32:43 PM

Sportlock, if you were a woman I'd call you putana. Don't know the meaning? Google it. Oh wait, maybe you are a woman. Real men don't bully women. BTW, Alvy says hello. He asked me if you miss him. If you do, he wants to visit you here this evening.

      • Posted By: sjpersonal @ 07/24/2008 2:30:59 PM

        Great post P,

It would really be nice if there wasn't so much anger and hate being spewed on these site. I too find myself becoming angry and responding likewise. I am really trying to curb that, but it is hard because it is not just Obama's politics or gaffes that these people are criticizing, they are treating him as though he is some sort of monster something less than human, which I find intolerable.

Why the infatuation with Israel? The U.S. has its own problems right now...

    • Posted By: Bass Pro @ 07/24/2008 4:21:11 PM

escape76, if you don't know why israel is important in today'sresidential politics, you must live in a cave.

      • Posted By: Escape76 @ 07/24/2008 7:28:16 PM

Ok, then I live in a cave for which I am defaulting on my mortgage and spending a lot of gas money getting to. But alas, we are more interested in how we can help Israel at this time. Do you think they would do the same for us?
