He wants to go against the democratic will of the people and Iraq by not honoring their wishes for the US to pull out their troops. It's not too surprising that Latinos would vote in greater numbers for a Democrat than for a Republican but is there any real enthusiasm for Obama among Hispanics? I doubt they will come out in larger than usual numbers for him than they would for a white candidate. In the primaries the Latinos were strongly for Hillary against Obama and I'm sure Obama's race had something to do with that. Historically in America there has not been a very good relationship between blacks and Latinos.

Unfortunately, Hispanics don't have much to choose from. It's between " bad" and " worse". Mr. Zoid. I live in Texas. There are lots of immigratns from Mexico and Latin American here. They work very hard, and they support our economy. They are largely respected by the Democrats. I can't speak for all Republicans, though I imagine many business-minded folks do appreciate their contribution to the backbone of the economy. They deserve respect, and yes, a few food stamps.

I can't even think of a single minority that tends republic an. Even Indians and Chinese who are well off and conservative minorities still vote democratic. As a minority in the republican party it's easy to see why. We have a few people who say the most offensive things and we let them get away with it. Most don't support gay marriage or abortion... And many in the African American community are notoriously homophobic... I get up everyday and work my butt off so I'm all for welfare reform, as are many minorities. Like I said if you were to sit down with any dem or minority, I'm sure you'd see that our values are just like yours, we just can't see being apart of a party that cares nothing for those who are less fortunate. First, How do you know I am not a monority? I do support your ideals and do my part in my community to help the poor. The problem is though the true poor cannot in many cases get the help they truly need because of the dead beats butt in line ahead of them. What I mean is the sub culture of "Needy" is sucking our country dry. They spend their time trying to find a way to milk the system. Meanwhile the poor little old lady down the street that has no one to help her is overlooked because she doesn't know how ask for help or has to much pride to do so. Go to your local social service office and observe. You will see lots of young men and women there aplying for free handouts for one reason or the other. Many of these people are able to work but refuse to do so. Having had some experence in these areas I can tell you the system is broken big time and is being used to support a subculture of people who will not work. In a ideal situation I would be more like you. But I think most people are totally in the dark about the misuse of the social welfare system. It is 1000 times worse than you think it is.!!

If you were to listen to Barack's policies, he's extremely progressive when it comes to welfare reform and making people accountable. He is laying out a new democratic party that excludes the "poverty pimp" politicians that we've seen in the past... So I say, give this candidate a chance as I believe everyone should carry their own weight also and I think he's just that man to make that change...

The main reason why minorities vote Dem is that when trying to join the GOP, the first thing they are asked to do is, "Leave your ideology outside the door, and follow ours." That's called being exclusive.

Free healthcare for illegal aliens, and free food stamps to support their kids who are citizens what is the problem..They continue to do jobs that we know you are not going to do. The system might be brokent but we can not continue to starve peoples' kids just because we do not tend to agree with the policy. Who are you to judge who is and is not Republican, are you sure that you are Republican. Is it that Goingatit is a minority that offends you so much or that they can be a stand up republican which there are so few of and admit that there are racial issures that exist within the party.

I commend McCain for taking questions after his opening speeches, Unlike OBAMA. Easy to make a mistake when you fly by the seat of your pants and answer all questions. Kinda easy not to make mistakes when everything you say was written for you and edited to the demographic your lecturing. Why cant you understand that? Compares to taking a test with the answers already filled in for you wouldnt you say?
