--Acceptance of torture, domestic spying by the government, and suspension of habeas corpus as the new "American morality"
--Ever-rising energy and food prices, coupled with stagnent or declining wages
...to name just a few examples of the EXPERIENCE we've had with the Republican regime.
Now I know that Republicans want so very much to try to dress their candidate up as something (anything) different than what he actually is...an entrenched, do-nothing Washington Insider who's shown no "leadership" at all during his 25 years of cashing taxpayer-funded paychecks as a Senator. The thing is, though, that the public realizes that the Republican candidate is just a part of "broken government" (as Mitt would say), and there's no reason for anyone to believe that he'll magically become some kind of "leader" now, since all he's ever been throughout his political career is just another Washington bureaucrat.
So yeah, EXPERIENCE will be the deciding factor in this election, up and down the ticket...and as a country, most voters recognize that our EXPERIENCE with Republican rule has produced negative results.
Because of that EXPERIENCE, it's easy to see why Republican supporters have been reduced to name-calling and negative campaigning against their opponents, rather than offering any reasons why the electorate should want to support them.-

The 1st thing Obama will do is raise the capital gains tax which we will then see an exodus from the stock market before the higher rate kicks in. This will negatively effect the world market and US confidence. Small businesses will get the jitters due to some of Obamas' non-business friendly policies and will stop hiring and spending. Higher taxes and government control reduces growth. These lower-middle class liberals will see their jobs go away. Overtaxing the rich and businesses who reinvest in the economy will eventually hurt the people they are trying to help. Anybody heard of "trickle down"? I am staying out of the stock market until the November dust settles.

Electing an intelligent, well educated, serious-minded candidate to be our president is the best path forward. Obama will be able to adjust quickly and ramp up fast to deliver solutions that for the most part will help, not hurt, the middle class Americans.
Vote with your brain, not with your sense of false Patriotism - the GOP loves to pull this on everyone and it's just such a crock - all their candidates want to do is get rich quick using the White House as a backdrop for their more insidious schemes.
