Wow these women are amazing! They are heros and examples for all women to follow. We shouldn't make excuses for ourselves and beat the odds like these women have. These women have inner strenghth, and we as women naturally have that inner strength. Like these women we shouldn't let life or anything get in our way of what we love doing; there are trully possibilities not impossibility. Let's all be strong and teach our children that anything is possible like these women have. I for one am going to do the same.

You forgot Pat McCormick. She did it first and she did it best. She was the first to win back to back gold medals in platform and springboard diving -- the double double (the only other person to do this was Greg Louganis). She did it in 1952 Helsinki and again at the 1956 Melbourne games. She gave birth between the games. Her practice regimen was 100 dives a day, 6 days a week, 52 weeks a year. When she became pregnant, she stay in shape by swimming 5 miles a day, almost up until her due date. Just thought you'd like to know.
