    Comment: I am a common chinese pepole, I find there are many wrong with china! West country alaways like to uglify China, I don't know why? and the reports are always not accurat, I feel so pity about it!
    One of my Pakistan friend told to me that he hate west country, because they consider theirselves always right, and just criticize others, don't you see your shortage?
    Ok, you can ignore your faults, but you cann't critisize other countries improperly...

    But the farce staged in the west around the Olympic has told the Chinese:
    the biggest misunderstanding about this planet is "The west is civilized"!

    With regard to treatment to minority people, The Chinese government has a lot to learn from its American Peer: The Amerians have done a clean job by robbinng and Killing all American Indians, keep only a few in zoo -- Conservation places as live sample.....

    Lets see what has the Chinese governmnet done to the minotities:
    No birth control to minorities while the Han Chinese can have only one child;
    No tax of any kind imposed on minorities while billons of government subsidy given to them;
    Local languages are compulsory in shool and TV.....

    Comment: some pictures are lack of acuracy. The motorcycle riders are policy offices not the army. Most of the cars got burned in Tibet by the Tibetens in March are belong to the "Han" residents and some of my family friends are the victims.

      Comment: I'm an American living in Beijing. A friend who works for a major news organization agrees with this. They said that initially, the violence was by Tibetans against anyone non-Tibetan. Both the Han Chinese and the Muslim minority.

    Comment: Radio Canada International present a unique, innovative web series 'A NEW FACE FOR BEIJING'.

    The series is about a 25 year-old Chinese-Canadian, Jennifer Hsiung, who moved to China to work for CCTV international as their sports anchor 2 years ago. The series documents her integration into the Chinese community and the transformations of Beijing in the last few months.

You also forget to mention, it's American government behind this chaoes in order to demonize China . Aamerics and CIA have been deeply involved in the Tibet affairs although American government offcially recgonize Tibet is part of China. The words also dont mention one thing, Ameircan gov and CIA have been behind the motion in Lahsa, since they been involved in Tibet affiars over 50 years although American gov officially recognize Tibet is part of China. Onme month after the Tibet motion, some Hawaaiii abrigenes occupied Hawaii old king palace to demand Hawaii indenpensence, this shocking news has never been reported by American media including NEWSWEEK HERE. shame on you America, the hypcrite in the word . nEWSWEEK ,please continue to demonizeChina as you have done until you lose all your trsut in Chinese readers. just answer, NEWSWEEK , why dont you mention the HAWAII people 's dmeand but keep taling about Chinese internal affars?
