    all the money wasted in goverment bailouts.. airline banks. Incentives given to oil companys ect.ect ect. every amercan could get a million dollars .. what astimules check that would be.once again the average american will get nothing .and the top feeders will get it all ..greed will eventually be the down fall of us all.Now the russians are coming. I feel so much better.

    after watching the interview with the iranian leader and brian williams, then matt lauer's comment about it making a difference in the election outcome, I wondered why they just don't say "VOTE FOR OBAMA"?

      makes you wonder when the iranian clown prince seems so in favor of obama....hmmmm....I am sure that he feels he could slap him from one corner of the room to the next. easy to push around not like Mccain who would feel no pain having had the experience before. Experience such an elusive thing....obama is on an educational tour trying to get knowledge he admittedly doesnt have. what a joke he is.

    our current xenophobia and isolationism under bush has worked so well, right??? Media is all bullshit so make up your own mind......when mcbush drafts your punk #()*( like he told some teen who dared to point out mcbush' incompetence, you will have a different opinion...MAYBE.....but I guess it is all media's fault, anyway!!!! if mcbush actually knew anything about anything, maybe media would have something to report...so far, he admits he is not familiar with this "email" you speak of, the internet, the economy...he would really have nothing to talk about with foreign leaders, yet pushing a red button he mistook for viagra (which he would cover until his health care) but not birth control, is much easier, apparently!!!

    The most "news" has come from right-wing douchebags like rush and my local paper has daily column of vile spewed by o'reilly.......right-wing is conflicted, they want to hate others, but they hate themselves more.....evolution usually takes care of this.....we just don't have the time......however, in twenty years we can have oil from offshore drilling, instead of promoting or at least treating equally "alternative" energy which we could have now....instead of subsidizing oil/coal......but I guess this is "fair" too????? in a right-wing alternate universe....oil prices are high to make money for rich oil barons...if you are not one of them, why are you serving as their lackey, EXCEPT for media brainwashing?????

    Bottom line: a lot of neanderthals can spout rhetoric, and mcbush can get led around by his handlers, but unless you have actually DONE something for your country, then shut the h e l l up???

    Obama was a community organizer for many years, and McBush got captured by being dim-witted when he was trained in evasive maneuvers??? he has psychological issues which were brought up by bush in 2000 when he was running against them?? now these have apparently been shredded......just like people's common sense....90% of current active duty military think this war is a mistake but they have to do what the commander in chief says, and thanks to the bush recession, many people can't find jobs and even felons are now serving in the military...not a stretch to hear us military is abusing iraqis??? they can't even read the Geneva Convention, not to mention comprehend it.....and bush continues shredding our Constitution....so just jump to this moron's defense......while he spies on you.....and drive your SUV twenty miles to "save" money at wallyworld while they ship your jobs overseas and ship all their chinese made merchandise across the country, wasting energy....close all the walmarts and targets and MAYBE we could gain back some quality of life...otherwise, just regurgitate some vitriol force-fed by media....AND THEN....complain about it!!!!

    Gone are the days when news shows didn't give their poorly disguised editorials. Referring to Matt Lauer's comment this morning after the Brian Willaims interview with the Iranian president. Matt said that maybe this would influence the voting in our election for president. Since when do we care who other countries want us to vote for? Do we have a say in who their leaders are? Wake up and smell the coffee NBC!

    Just another poorly written article to try and make the Americans who are already suffering from the economy, see Obama's big bright picture, hoping that Americans are too stupid or scared to see the real reason behind the nothing article. Promotion of their "God" Obama under the guise of a news worthy article.

    This could be one of the most poorly written stories in Newsweek in a long time. Where's the news here? It's not just Russian's buying up homes, almost any country in the developed world has a stronger currency then the U.S. at the moment. This story is short on facts and long on fear mongering.
