You're Just the opposite ......Most Americans are REALLY sick worried about SENIOR SENATOR being President......Senile,Drop Death in Ceremony,Alzheimer,Mentality Break-Down,Sturborn,Health-Cancer, blah-blah.

While i agree that these errors McCain makes are not as important as the overall message he puts forth, he is still the man trailing in this race. When you're trailing, you can't afford mistakes, and McCain seems to make a fair amount of them.

Those by "nature" really againts a good canidate as Obama can still get Republican candidate by attending Ron Paul convention and Vote for him in fall,i think Ron Paul is much better Republican than John McCain itself.

Maverick GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul has booked an arena in Minneapolis for a "mini-convention" that could steal some of John McCain's thunder just days before he accepts the Republican nomination.
A Paul campaign aide said the Texas congressman hopes to pack about 11,000 supporters into the Williams Arena at the University of Minnesota on Sept. 2, which coincides with the second day of the Republican National Convention at the Xcel Energy Center in neighboring St. Paul.

Paul, 72, will announce details for the rally Thursday at the start of the Texas Republican Convention in Houston.

The campaign hopes the daylong event will "send a message to the Republican Party," Paul campaign spokesman Jesse Benton tells the Tribune-Review.

In swing-state Colorado, the Republican Secretary of State conducted the biggest purge of voters in history, dumping a fifth of all registrations. Guess their color.

In swing-state Florida, the state is refusing to accept about 85,000 new registrations from voter drives ??? overwhelming Black voters.

In swing state New Mexico, HALF of the Democrats of Mora, a dirt poor and overwhelmingly Hispanic county, found their registrations disappeared this year, courtesy of a Republican voting contractor.

In swing states Ohio and Nevada, new federal law is knocking out tens of thousands of voters who lost their homes to foreclosure.

1961: John F Kennedy sworn in as US president

The Democrat John F Kennedy has been sworn in as the youngest ever elected president of the United States.

The (43-Year-Old) Roman Catholic was inaugurated as the 35th president on a snow-covered Capitol Hill in Washington. He takes over from the oldest president in American history, General Dwight Eisenhower, who is bowing out aged 70.

The president's Republican rival, Richard Nixon, who came a close second in the race for the White House, also attended the inauguration ceremony.

Millions watched the swearing-in of the new president on television. He chose to wear formal dress, including a top hat, for the occasion.

President Kennedy began his speech by addressing "my fellow citizens" - the term first used by President George Washington but rejected by later presidents in favour of the less formal "my fellow Americans".

His ten-minute address appealed to Americans to unite in the fight against the common enemy of man: tyranny, poverty, disease and war itself.

For the people of the world struggling against the "bonds of misery", the president pledged, "our best efforts to help them help themselves".

He continued: "If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich."

He also appealed to the Soviet Union to begin a new quest for peace.

"Let both sides for the first time, formulate serious and precise proposals for the inspection and control of arms and bring the absolute power to destroy other nations under the absolute control of all nations," he said.

President Kennedy closed his speech with the words: "Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world, ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man."

His words were greeted with rousing applause.

McCain's New Ad and McCain's hypocrisy

McCain is using Obama's canceled trip to a U.S. militay base in Germany as a reason to claim that Obama is anti-troops, even though Obama's trip was canceled by the Pentagon, not by Obama. Now with McCain going on and on in a political attack ad about what a horrible and un-patiotic thing it was for Obama not to visit those troops, come to find out, McCain knows better. How does he know? Follow me after the jump.

Barack Obama canceled a pre-planned visit to the troops in Germany yesterday after being told by the Pentagon that the trip would violate a Pentagon policy prohibiting campaign stops on military installations. No problem there.

However, the McCain campaign is now blasting Obama:

The McCain camp has nonetheless been using Obama's canceled trip to insinuate that he's anti-troops. "Barack Obama is wrong," McCain spokesperson Brian Rogers said in a statement yesterday. "It is never 'inappropriate' to visit our men and women in the military."
It turns out the same thing happened to John McCain himself back in April of this year. But of course when it happens to him, he brags that it "was a good thing" that HE didn't visit the troops, "because he always follows the rules."

The problem here is that the McCain campaign was denied a visit to a military base under the same policy back in April. Of course, there was no outcry or false outrage from Brian Rogers at that time.

With Department of Defense rules prohibiting political campaigning on military bases, it was determined that in some cases McCain could visit the installations as a senator but could not engage in any political activity or have news media present.
McCain campaign officials said Thursday they intentionally did not campaign on military property.

"We follow the rules," said senior McCain adviser Steve Schmidt.
I have to ask, just how much lies, hypocrisy, and double-talk is this man willing to resort to in his quest for the presidency?

I am afraid of John McCain. I don't think he's mentally able to be president. I think John McCain in any given moment can go postal !!

During my time in school, I was always told not to try to define a term by using the term. McCoo-Coo's statement on the issue of drilling is simply asinine. "Because the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge." That doesn't explain why we should not drill there over off-shore drilling. His response has no substance at all and how can people be so partisan that they would vote for this idiot over voting for the good of our country.

Yes, America and the World knows this idiot for President candidate. Why doesn't anyone confront McCain about his lies, and distortions? Why when a candidate cries fowl with the press, the press loses it's responsiblty in interviews? His foreign policy is dangerous, he is unworthy of the presidency and McCain is disliked around the World.

On the Surge
The success of the surge......began before the surge....... In other words is isn't from what John MCain said by the American Troops, before the troops was there the surge already been going on many months much earlier in IraQ. John McCain it seems doesn???t know the difference with regards the Sunni and Shiite.

One of the top commanders in Iraq indicated it was not the surge per se and that it was the political compromises and agreements among the Iraqis. The fact that the "Sunni Awakening" or "Anbar Awakening" switched them from supporting Al Qaeda to fighting them began BEFORE the surge (contrary to McCain's false claims) also backs this up.

And the big one of course, the Sunnis ended their boycott of the Malaki govt. and have now teamed up with the Shiite in governing. Very little of this was achieved militarily as McCain and Bush would have you believe.
Just to be clear: Obama visited wounded troops

I can't stress this point enough: during the portion of his trip that was official Senate business -- the portion in Iraq and Afghanistan and Kuwait -- Barack Obama visited with wounded troops, and he did so without any fanfare.

Nonetheless, John McCain is criticizing Barack Obama for not seeing wounded troops at Landstuhl, even though during McCain's most recent Europe trip, he didn't visit them either, despite being just a short drive away.

The funny part is that McCain's trip to Europe was official Senate business, funded by taxpayers. Barack Obama's trip was under political, not as ???Official Senator Visit??? as ???Government Employee??? and his trip was funded by the campaign therefore not ALLOWED . Now, I would never suggest in a million years that John McCain whose several decades of service I can deeply honor he doesn't care about the troops. But it's simply remarkable that he sees fit to make such an attack on Barack Obama.

"John McCain is a dedicated impulsive hard-core gambler who enjoys few things more than a 14 hour session at the craps table, he???s more than capable of ???SELLING COUNTRY SOULS??? to recover his personal Loses???

McCain is acting like a 5th grader. Name-calling and sneering is juvenile, immature and shows more about him than his opponent.
