    The Amerian gold medels are won by black people -- they are actually AFRICANS ATHLETS!
    Apart from that, yes, U.S have some non -- black players.
    Could you pls tell me how many of them are not BOUGHT player from foreign countries?
    Now, I won't embarrass you by asking: can you tell my how strong U.S is with sports....
    The only thing I would ask is: Stop bragging!

      This may come as a suprise to you- but black people are Americans too. Wow!!! Seriously, that is unbelievable. Does that mean white people are actually winning medals for European countries, since ya know, we weren't the original people either. White people weren't the orginal americans- THINK before you write something that sounds completely ridiculous.

      According to your logic.... the only people who can win a medal for the USA are the Native Americans.

    The Olympics is a meaningless event. It is totally commercilized, nationalistic and all about winning medals and money. There is absolutely no "spirit" or "sportsmanship". You try anything and everything to win a medal --- cheeating, doping, blood transfusion, you name it. If you come in fourth, you are a looser. We should abandon Olympics and use the money to develop green energy.

    Why most western media seems focusing on what is NOT than trying to give a balance outlook. Media hold more responsibilities now in this information age in trying to give a better world to us and the next generation. My reading about China in recent months focus on trying to downplay, denigrating China efforts. I am not saying China is a land of honey and milk, but give her a fair observation rather than a skewed of envy reporting style.
