    Impact of Obamas Oversees Tour with People:

    63% of voters told us the trip didn???t make him more fit to be president.

    Military veterans also still support the Republican candidate more -- by nearly 20 points -- 56% to 37%.

    But 55% of voters gave good or excellent marks to Obama???s high-profile speech in Berlin .

    63% Say Trip Does Not Make Obama More Fit to be President

    While Barack Obama has touted his travel to Afghanistan and Iraq as a FACT-FINDING trip, 63% of Americans DO NOT BELIEVE it makes the Democratic candidate any more qualified to be president.

    A new Rasmussen Reports national survey, taken Monday night, also finds that LESS THAN a third (32%) think Obama will learn from his trip to Iraq. Forty percent (40%) say his mind is already made up about policies to deal with the war there.

    Another Rasmussen Reports survey this week finds that while voters trust Obama more on most issues, McCain has a double-digit lead on his rival when it comes to national security and the war in Iraq. Overall, Obama and McCain remain very close in the popular vote contest as measured by the Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll.

      SN...you get some great info. Best about The Rasmussen poll is this....the obamamohammed bloggers have been swearing...Obama leads Veterans.     There have been a lot of firsts in the 27-year history of MTV, but beginning Wednesday night (July 23), the channel will begin airing something it never has before: a political advertisement. "Both Ways Barack," the attack ad from conservative group Let Freedom Ring, takes aim at presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama for what it calls a history of trying to take opposing positions on the same issue.

    The 30-second clip opens with a folksy-voiced narrator claiming, "People are saying that Senator Obama's recent changes of position have made him a flip-flopper." Newspaper headlines appear on the screen, reading, "Obama aide signals shift on Iraq troop withdrawal," "Shift on war hits Obama's liberal base, " "Obama's Enigma" and "Obama's Changes Raise Issue: Can You Believe Him?"

    ......................................Using mirror images of Obama's head pointing in opposite directions, the ad then claims Obama has voted both for and against banning handguns, public campaign financing and withdrawing from Iraq, citing sources including ABC News, the Chicago Tribune, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post. "He wants to have them all both ways," says the narrator, concluding, "He's 'Both Ways Barack' ??? worse than a flip-flopper!"

        Thank You for the compliment. I will keep it up. Amazing what a man with a "calling" can do. I have received direct quotes, in a Newsweek article, and had my name mentioned in the same sentence with Rush L. Must be on the right track. I am even seeing bumperstickers, that say NOBAMA!!! Maybe I should get royalties.

    Whether the right likes it or not, I think Obama just demonstrated that he is the only person in the race that has what it takes to lead the on a global stage. The palpable jealousy coming from the Republican side is evidenced by the kind of criticism they keep making. The criticize him for planning his presidential transition. Why isn't McCain planning his? Is planning 3 months out really a BAD thing? The criticize for not going to Iraq. He goes to Iraq and they accuse him of acting like he's already the president. They criticize him for being liked by Europeans. They criticize him for not visiting the wounded troops. If he HAD visited, they would have criticized him for politicizing wounded vets. I'm beginning to sense a pattern.

      So, by the arrogant act of planning that which is not yet earned, it shows that Obama is "the only player capable of leading on the global stage"?

      One can only conclude that the narrcistic arrogance is not confined to Obama, but to his followers, too.

      The facts are, McCain has been "on the global stage" for decades. Obama was on Chicago streets in those decades. If Obama supporters can't tell the difference they should go back to school and study some history.

To place campaign posters, at the Western Wall, the most Holy Site in all Judaism, took his arrogance and idiocy to levels never before seen, in American politics. Sure firmed up the Jewish vote.         Do you read the news? The only people in the race are John McCain, Obama, Nader, and Bob Barr.

        Of the four, Obama is our best chance to turn things around for America before it's too late. What you read from the above poster was an attempt for civil discussion and thought. The only arrogant comments being made are by ignorant and arrogant conservative such as yourselves. God forbid that anyone try to give any comments to support their positions - automatically it gets labeled as arrogant or elitist.         McCain is a self serving moron who graduated at the bottom of his class. He is a man of little integrity given how as soon as he got back from Vietnam, he divorced his first wife who suffered a terrible accident, and just because she gained some weight, he threw her over for some beer heiress who didn't respect the sanctity of marriage. Yeah that's the kind of value I respect. he is a petty man, who doesn't give squat about POW/MIAs. He's been known to have had several tempermental outbursts with Vietnam Family members of POW/MIAs and have basically treated them like dirt.

    The world isn't out to get you or steal American jobs; this warm welcome is genuine, we're not looking for somewhere to stick a knife. At certain points, American presidents have shown genuine leadership over the past century and it is in Obama that the greatest leadership qualities are recognized.

    For those who insist on posting your objections to Obama on every story, yes, sure, he is a politician just like McCain and many others, no more, no less. Besides, would you really want a naive president?

    But, he will be a much more effective president than McCain could ever hope to be. You need only look at how he has been received abroad to recognize the kind of authority and credibility Obama would bring to the presidency. The effect of this amount of goodwill cannot be overestimated.

    Sen. Obama is going to come very, very close to getting elected -- and he's going to lose because, at the end of the day, the plurality of voters are centrists and are going to see that Sen. Obama is a snake-oil salesman. I simply don't think that people will trust him, which is exactly why Sen. Kerry lost.

    I have never really cared much for Rush & Fox people, but Newsweek is so far in the Tank for Obama that I am inclined to go that way to just"balance things out".

    In essence, Obama is now saying what Bush has been saying, and what McCain has been saying...But because it is *** OBMAMA ! *** why shizzam! it's Statesmanship!

    I dumped Newsweek maaazine years ago, and only view it now when Realclearpolitics carries their articles. I think realclearpolitics does it to just give the far-left side of things.

    The majority of American people do not know how to investigate and learn for there own insight. Everything that the media outlets listed above presents to America it must be gospel. If Obama was Japanese 55% of the American people would believe it.

    Further, if you ask them how do the know that? They say I read on the internet or I heard it on Fox News. These people are so closed minded they refuse to listen to another view point. Fox News wants to demonize Obama as someone evil and out of touch with America and someone who is un-patriotic. So of course alt of Americans just follow along with the crowd and say, OK, Dah, Ok.

    Thank God some Americans will at least give this man a fair chance to make his case for the presidency of the United States of America.

    63% Say Trip Does Not Make Obama More Fit to be President

    While Barack Obama has touted his travel to Afghanistan and Iraq as a FACT-FINDING trip, 63% of Americans DO NOT BELIEVE it makes the Democratic candidate any more qualified to be president.

    A new Rasmussen Reports national survey, taken Monday night, also finds that LESS THAN a third (32%) think Obama will learn from his trip to Iraq. Forty percent (40%) say his mind is already made up about policies to deal with the war there.

    Another Rasmussen Reports survey this week finds that while voters trust Obama more on most issues, McCain has a double-digit lead on his rival when it comes to national security and the war in Iraq. Overall, Obama and McCain remain very close in the popular vote contest as measured by the Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll.

    I actually loved it when Barack answered a reporter about McCain being negative about his trip. Barack calmly answered that McCain had been telling him to go and that he was disappointed in his not keeping his word to run an honorable campaign.
    Barack does not need to yell or get tough. All he needs to do is stay calm and be disappointed in McCain. That makes McCain look really dumb and desperate. Reacting in a loud way and angry way just turns it into a fight and then people take sides instead of backing off and showing people how silly McCain looks with calm reason. Obama conducts himself with dignity, I watched him talking to the press outside Number 10 and he didn't get riled or upset when the reporters fed him what McCain had been saying. He is such a stark contrast to McCain. Obama is a true gentleman. A real man
