Having lived in Mianyang for about 5 years, I fully understand the lack of trust between Chinese officials and foreign investment: too often, there are religious or political strings attached that sometimes seem to threaten the government hierarchy. Some have taken advantage of the local population, or have made the citizens feel less than human in the past.

Newsweek: Where is your unbiased equal reporting? I see the big bright colorful ad for your "Golden Boy" Obama! Doesn't matter what you report on, you still are pushing him in people faces which makes your magazine just another bought off liberal agenda.

There is a day coming in the not too distant future when we will be glad we have shown the Chineese people, not the government, that we care, As they prosper, it is examples like this that will encourage them to be good world citizens.

The link is a paid ad which only means McCain decided not to pay for a space on this site. Not the bias of NBC.
