    The iPod fish tank is horrible and cruel. I always hear that betas need at least a 2 gallon tank to survive and be happy. Where's PETA for this one?

    I love my pets as much as anyone but some of this stuff is way out there. The dog humping doll? Wow, I could put that in my living room and invite friends over for the entertainment. Guess that would be considered doggy porno.
    The doggy treadmill? Come on people - get off your couch and walk your dog! It might help you shed those unwanted punds that we Americans have so much of. Here's an idea: you could put your dog in the shoulder bag, wear him for a walk and while you are walking you could comminicate with the Bowlingual. Then you could come home and put the dog on the treadmill. Get a life, people!

    I produce and extreme pet item -- They are called "The Pet Sock " It covers bandages and helps keep the pets away from their surgery or wound site. There is a single front - single back - I also make a full body sock - these can have rubber feet added to keep your pets clean while going out briefly in wet weather to potty and then you remove when coming in to keep floors clean. They are Great !!!

    The lingual device is nuts. Might as well get an "8" ball and tell the future. Turn it upsidedown and get a "yes" "no" "maybee" I did however just purchase a "Peticure". It works great on my two dogs and no more quick hitting. The machine has a file that just spins at high speed and files the nails beautifully. Wish I thought of it. They're making a fortune.

    The bowlingual device is ridiculous. Might as well have a 60's fortune telling "8" ball, turn it upsidedown and it says "yes" "no" "maybe". I did just receive, however, a Peticure for my two Shih Tsus. It works great and no more sadness when I hit the quick. It charges for easy use and you just place one nail at a time against the spinning file and presto "manicured". Wish I thought of the idea! Suppose they're making a fortune.

    I find it absolutely unacceptable that the author chose to include the iPond. What a great idea...spread the word about a cruel animal device that you can currently find in stores. The author is biased when he/she said that it's the "animal rights activists" who have a problem with the gadget. I do not consider myself to be an activist, yet I do see the obvious cruelty in housing a creature in such a confined space.

    OK, some of these inventions may have a valid use (the last several starting with the cat piano are cruel and/or absurd). And some of thenm are just plain nutty. But the crochetted carry bag is obscene. Regardless of what mindless drones like Paris Hilton think (OK, thinking might be giving her too much credit), pets are NOT fashion accessories. Anyone how treats them as such should not only have their pet confiscated, but they should be locked up in a 3 foot x 3 foot pen and fed table scraps themsleves.
