Sub question: which American Senator has supported nearly ALL of said Presidents policies on the WAR as proven by his record of voting with the "President" 90% of the time?

Comment: Boehner calls on Dems to buck Pelosi
Politico The Crypt By Martin Kady Aug. 05, 2008

House Republicans can't take this energy debate anywhere without the help of a few Democrats, so they're targeting the most vulnerable Democrats out there: the freshmen.

Responding to today's Politico story suggesting that Speaker Nancy Pelosi is letting some of her freshmen in tough districts off the hook on drilling, Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) has called on Democrats to sign a discharge petition that would force the speaker to bring up the Republican energy bill.

"My message to Democratic lawmakers is this: if you???re really for increased American energy production, then prove it by putting it in writing," Boehner said. "Sign the discharge petitions House Republicans are circulating that will force votes on energy legislation Speaker Pelosi refuses to bring to the floor. "

Reps. Jason Altmire (D-Pa.) and Don Cazayoux (D-La.) have both asked Democratic leaders to consider new oil drilling legislation, but Pelosi seems unwilling to allow a major energy package to move before the election.

Comment: Freedom's Watch Criticizes Dems' 'Summer Vacation' in New Web Ad
The Hill by Walter Alarkon Aug. 05, 2008

A new Web ad by conservative advocacy group Freedom's Watch lambastes Democrats in Congress for failing to tackle rising energy prices.

The ad, called "Son of a Beach" begins by describing the plight of the average working American who must pay a mortgage and and for fuel.

"What do the liberals in Congress have on their mind? Summer Vacation," the ad's narrator states. "They're taking the rest of the summer off."

Set to a 1960s-style surf rock tune, the ad mocks the Democrats' decision to go on recess without a vote on lifting the ban on offshore drilling. It features prominent Democratic senators and congressmen rollerblading, playing volleyball, reading on the beach and playing golf.

The ad ends with a narrator urging viewers to "Call the Do Nothing Democrats in Congress and tell them to get back to work on the important issues."

Comment: McCain Has Slight Leads Over Obama in Two National Polls
The Hill by Walter Alarkon Aug. 05, 2008

John McCain holds statistically insignificant leads over Barack Obama in two prominent national presidential polls.

McCain is up on Obama, 42 percent to 41 percent, in the latest Zogby poll, released Monday. Zogby???s most recent numbers represent a significant turnaround from last month, when Obama led McCain 46-36.

Zogby???s release also noted that McCain appeared to be eroding Obama???s level of support within some of the Democrat???s most important demographic groups.

Among voters aged 18-29, McCain gained 20 percentage points from last month, while Obama dropped 16 points. Among women, McCain slashed Obama???s lead to 43-38, a margin down 10 points from last month. And among independents, the two candidates are now tied; Obama held an 11-point lead last month.

???The McCain camp seems to have turned lemons into lemonade,??? said pollster John Zobgy in a statement. ???Huge crowds and mostly favorable press reviews of Obama???s overseas trip have been trumped by McCain???s attacks on Obama.???

???Loss of support for Obama among young voters may also be due to his perceived reversals on issues they care about, such as the war and government eavesdropping,??? Zogby added.

For the second straight day, McCain also leads Obama in Rasmussen???s daily presidential tracking poll, 47 percent to 46 percent, including ???leaners.???

While the past two days represent the first time McCain has led Obama since the Illinois senator wrapped up the Democratic nomination June 3, Rasmussen???s numbers have consistently indicated a tight race most of the summer. Obama has not held a lead greater than 7 percentage points during the same period.

Comment: Bush rips Democrats for opposing offshore drilling
MyWay By H. Josef Hebert Aug. 02, 2008

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush chastised Democrats on Saturday for refusing to allow a vote on whether to lift the federal ban on offshore oil drilling before lawmakers departed for their summer recess.

"To reduce pressure on prices, we need to increase the supply of oil, especially oil produced here at home," Bush said in his weekly radio address. It was the fourth time this week that he has called for Congress to end the drilling restrictions off the Atlantic and Pacific coasts and in the eastern Gulf of Mexico.

Some of the drilling moratoriums have been in place since 1981 for environmental reasons and concerns that energy development might harm coastal tourist industries.

Bush acknowledged it would be years before any of the oil beneath the offshore waters could be pumped, but he said "lifting the ban would create new opportunities for American workers and businessmen."

"But the leaders of the Democratic Congress have refused to allow a vote" on whether the drilling moratoriums should be lifted, Bush complained.

    My Commentary:

If, as the Democrats maintain, that approval for exploration and drilling in offshore locations would not affect the price of oil, and would not increase the supply of oil for several years (often touted as the magic number 10 years), why not grant approval now to test that theory, and provide several thousands of well-paying jobs to stimulate the economy?

Do Democrats actually fear that their rigid assertions would be proven to be false?

Comment: Pelosi: At-risk Dems back drilling
by Martin Kady II & Patrick O???Connor Politico 8/5/08

California: Democrat Nancy Pelosi may be trying to save the planet ??? but the rank and file in her party increasingly are just trying to save their political hides when it comes to gas prices as Republicans apply more and more rhetorical muscle.

But what looks like intraparty tension on the surface is part of an intentional strategy in which Pelosi takes the heat on energy policy, while behind the scenes she???s encouraging vulnerable Democrats to express their independence if it helps them politically, according to Democratic aides on and off Capitol Hill.

Pelosi???s gambit rests on one big assumption: that Democrats will own Washington after the election and will be able to craft a sweeping energy policy that is heavy on conservation and fuel alternatives while allowing for some new oil drilling. Democrats see no need to make major concessions on energy policy with a party poised to lose seats in both chambers in just three months ??? even if recess-averse Republicans continue to pound away on the issue.

Comment: McCain visiting motorcycle rally, nuke power plant
by GLEN JOHNSON, Associated Press Writer Yahoo News Mon. Aug. 4, 2008

STURGIS, S.D. - Thousands of motorcyclists greeted Republican presidential candidate John McCain with an approving roar Monday as he sought blue-collar and heartland support by visiting a giant motorcycle rally.

"As you may know, not long ago a couple hundred thousand Berliners made a lot of noise for my opponent. I'll take the roar of 50,000 Harleys any day," McCain said, referring to Democrat Barack Obama's recent visit to the German capital.

Billed as the largest event of its kind in the world, the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally has become something of an annual bikers' Woodstock during the past 70 years. It features nine nights of entertainment, with bands including Def Leppard, Lynyrd Skynyrd and REO Speedwagon.

McCain played to a crowd that paused for a veterans salute. He criticized Obama for supporting a timetable for withdrawing U.S. troops from Iraq while opposing efforts to reduce record-high energy prices.

"My opponent wants to set a date to come home. I want us to come home with victory and honor so we will never go back again," the Arizona senator said.

McCain also criticized Congress for adjourning for a five-week recess without approving a new energy plan.
"Tell em' to come back and get to work," McCain said, yelling into the microphone. "When I'm president of the United States, I'm not going to let them go on vacation. They're gonna become energy independent."

McCain was accompanied by Sen. John Thune, R-S.D., who has been mentioned as a potential running mate. He had warned the McCain campaign that a politician might receive an unfriendly welcome, but McCain relished the warm embrace.

His wife, Cindy, also paid tribute to the crowd, saying: "I'd like to thank all of you for your support of our troops, and here's why: I'm many things in my life, and one thing I'd like to be is your first lady. But more importantly, I'm Jack McCain's mother and Jimmy McCain's mother, one in the U.S. Navy and another one in the Marine Corps, an Iraqi vet."

If anyone else would care to refer back to the messages for the post time which you stated, they would see that no such post from me exists.

Now how do you explain that?

You're a pathetic excuse for a human being.

p.s. I see that the real Harley Davidson and other bike riders who attended the McCain rally yesterday in
Sturgis, S.D. gave John McCain a roaring welcome and approval.

Somehow that biker network ensured that invitations to attend the rally were not given to little immature brats like you who probably ride little pink plastic bicycles and consider themselves to be real bikers.

Have you been away on a well-deserved holiday? If so, I???m sure that it was enjoyable for you.

And I see that you???ve returned in fine fighting form!

If you have a spare hour or two, you might care to review the posts on the older Newsweek board - Obama Abroad - to ???catch up??? on the rants and blogs which were posted while you were away.

But I would like to take this opportunity to draw your attention to a vulgar, crass, probably pornographic spew by a ranter who has been credited with being an Obama ???blog hero??? by one of the socialite Obama supporters.

I tend to refer to that ranter as ???hardlyhere???, in an attempt to bring his screen name closer to reality.
His offensive, denigrating spews are visible on this same board, and can be found at his posting times of ??? 08/02/2008 4:16:30 PM??? & ???08/03/2008 19:12:56.???

I regard that ranter???s intellectual capacity, to use a cardplayer???s terminology, as being several hands shy of a deck.

He has tried to goad me by his tantrums into replying to his rant to answer his poorly stated questions, but I have avoided doing so because he appears to be unable to comprehend rational facts, thought, and discourse.

If you do review his crass belligerent spews, please let me know your interpretation of his actions, state of ???mind??? (if that really exists here), and whether he is just a typical obamabot.

Is this an example of the kind of change that ???the Great Unifier??? wants to implement?

I wonder whether any obamabots will bother to voice their opinions in this matter, and whether they will throw this spewer under the bus to join the numerous other unsavory characters associated with Obama.

Or, on second thought, maybe they???ll elevate him to displace Hillary Clinton as the key-note guest speaker at the DNC convention, due to a high-regard appreciation of his disgraceful sense of humour (for lack of a better word).

    Ciao for now!

You're sinking fast - regarding your comment - "driect answer toa - now you've achieved 2 spelling errors in 3 words - that's even a record for you!

If you would care to strive to appear at least minimally intelligent, you should restrict yourself to one word posts - then at least you would have a 50 - 50 chance of spelling that one word correctly.

Also, you should consider limiting that word to only 1 or 2 letters, in order to try to maximize your chance of success.

You're still having problems paying attention to detail, aren't you?

And I do admit that you have asked a "very simple question" - yes, it definitely qualifies as just another one of your very SIMPLE MINDED questions. And I don't bother responding to those, because you just wouldn't be able to understand my answer.

If you call Obama a celebrity, than you label everyone who was popular and had a lot of support a celebrity. So pretty much you're calling war heroes, presidents, dictators, kings, all those people, celebrities. The only reason Mccain's bitching about Obama is because he can't even fill a state hall for christs sake.

Rasmussen Reports Daily Presidential Tracking Poll - Aug. 4, 2008
          Monday, August 04, 2008

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows the race for the White House is tied with Barack Obama and John McCain each attracting 44% of the vote. However, when "leaners" are included, it???s McCain 47% and Obama 46%.

This is the first time McCain has enjoyed even a statistically insignificant advantage of any sort since Obama clinched the Democratic nomination on June 3 (see recent daily results). Tracking Polls are released at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time each day.

A week ago today, Obama had a three-percentage point lead and the candidates were even among unaffiliated voters. Today, McCain leads 52% to 37% among unaffiliateds.

McCain is currently viewed favorably by 55% of the nation???s voters, Obama by 51%. That is the lowest rating for Obama since he wrapped up the nomination. Obama is viewed favorably by 83% of Democrats, 22% of Republicans, and 47% of unaffiliated voters. For McCain, the numbers are 87% favorable among Republicans, 26% among Democrats, and 61% among unaffiliated voters.

Sixty percent (60%) of voters now see Obama as politically liberal while 65% see McCain as politically conservative. Among liberals, 71% see Obama as one of them, but just 18% of liberals see Obama as Very Liberal. Among conservatives, 71% say McCain is also a conservative, including 38% who say he is Very Conservative. Thirty-five percent (35%) of politically moderate voters say that McCain is politically moderate and 33% say the same of Obama. Fifty-eight percent (58%) of Democrats see McCain as conservative while 69% of Republicans see Obama as liberal (see other recent demographic highlights).

Forty-six percent (46%) of voters trust McCain more than Obama on energy issues while Obama is trusted more by 42%. Two months ago, Obama had a four point edge on the energy issue.

Comment: blah blah blah. I get it, the Rasmussen reports. Oh no, Obama's losing, you're right, I should change my ways and become a republican. Seriously, there's 90 days to election and I expect those numbers will change. Numbers don't mean anything in elections. What looks like landslide victories may turn into a bitter struggle, or a what looks like a horrible loss, may turn into a close draw. Polls change, they always have, they always will. The only numbers we will be certain about, are those on election day.

    THE OBAMA NATION

Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality
Barack Obama stepped onto the national political stage when the then-Illinois State senator addressed the 2004 Democratic National Convention. Soon after Obama was elected to the U.S. Senate, author Jerome Corsi began researching Obamas personal and political background.

Scrupulously sourced with more than 600 footnotes (over 30 pages), THE OBAMA NATION is the result of that research. By tracing Obamas career and influences from his early years in Hawaii and Indonesia, the beginnings of his political career in Chicago, his voting record in the Illinois legislature, his religious training and his adoption of Christianity through to his recent involvement in Kenyan politics, his political advisors and fundraising associates and his meteoric campaign for president, Jerome Corsi shows that an Obama presidency would, in his words, be A REPEAT OF THE FAILED EXTREMIST POLITICS that have characterized and plagued Democratic Party politics since the late 1960s.

In this stunning and comprehensive new book, the reader will learn about:

    * Obamas extensive connections with Islam and radical politics, from his father and step-fathers Islamic backgrounds, to his Communist and socialist mentors in Hawaii and Chicago, to his long-term and close associations with former Weather Underground heroes William Ayers and Bernadette Dohrn, associations much closer than heretofore revealed by the press

    * Barack and Michelles 20-year-long religious affiliation with the black-liberation theology of former Trinity United Church of Christ Reverend Jeremiah Wright, whose sermons have always been steeped in a rage first expressed by Franz Fanon, Stokely Carmichael and Malcolm X, a rage that Corsi shows has deep meaning for Obama

    * Obamas continuing connections with Kenya, the homeland of his father, through his support for the candidacy of Raila Odinga, the radical socialist presidential contender who came to power amid Islamist violence and church burnings

    * Obamas involvement in the slum-landlord empire of the Chicago political fixer Tony Rezko, who helped to bankroll Obamas initial campaigns and to purchase of Barack and Michelles dream-home property.

NEW BOOK RELEASE: THE OBAMA NATION (Continued from my Post above)

      * the background and techniques of the Obama campaigns cult of personality, including the derivation of the words HOPE and CHANGE.

      * Obamas far-left domestic policy, his controversial votes on abortion, his history of opposition to the Second Amendment, his determination to raise capital-gains taxes, his impractical plan to achieve universal health care, and his radical plan to tax Americans to fund a global-poverty-reduction program

      * Obamas NAIVE, anti-war, anti-nuclear foreign-policy, predicated on the reduction of the military, the eradication of nuclear weapons and an OVERCONFIDENCE IN THE POWER OF HIS PERSONALITY, as if belief in change alone could somehow transform international politics, achieve nuclear-weapons disarmament and withdrawal from Iraq without adverse consequences, for us, for the Iraqis or for Israel.

Meticulously researched and documented, THE OBAMA NATION is the definitive source for information on why and how Barack Obama must be defeated - not by invective and general attacks, but by detailed arguments that are well-researched and fact-based.

      RASMUSSEN REPORTS
63% Say Trip DOES NOT Make Obama More Fit to be President
      Wednesday, July 23, 2008

While Barack Obama has touted his travel to Afghanistan and Iraq as a FACT-FINDING trip, 63% of Americans DO NOT BELIEVE it makes the Democratic candidate any more qualified to be president.

A new Rasmussen Reports national survey, taken Monday night, also finds that LESS THAN a third (32%) think Obama will learn from his trip to Iraq. Forty percent (40%) say his mind is already made up about policies to deal with the war there.

Another Rasmussen Reports survey this week finds that while voters trust Obama more on most issues, McCain has a double-digit lead on his rival when it comes to national security and the war in Iraq. Overall, Obama and McCain remain very close in the popular vote contest as measured by the Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll.

      * Fred Thomson represented Tennessee as a Republican in the U.S. Senate for two terms (8 years) from 1994 through 2002.

Under the leadership of Senator Conrad (D-ND) and Senator Chambliss (R-GA), today, they submitted a bill that is fully paid and offers a BALANCE of Finding More US oil, Funding alternative energy, and conserving energy. It will open up the southern eastern offshore - but NOT around FL nuclear weapons testing area and NOT WITHIN 50 miles of FLORIDA COAST. It will be funded by levying ROYALTIES on all offshore drilling. (Not just minor lease payments)

This is the only WIN-WIN solution offered on the Senate floor in the past 1 1/2 years.

Comment: We have a choice. We can leave things in the hands of the extremists in both the Democratic and Republican Parties, who care nothing about the US citizens, until they want our vote.

If the extremist Democrats cared about the high cost of gas, they would never stopped funding in the early 80's for alternative and renewable energy. The switch from domestic produced oil did not happen overnight. In the 70's under Carter, we had the OPEC oil embargo. Our scientists came up with ideas for extracting oil from the oil shale fields in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming; wind generators, solar panels etc. After the embargo ended, the Democratic Congress eliminated funding for oil shale, coal gasification and even the solar industry was on the outs. (Apparently they weren't providing enough campaign funding to the extremist Democrats.) And offshore drilling was banned under George HW Bush.

Yes, we need alternative and renewable energy sources. But, the only energy the extremist Democrats are talking about is POWER PLANTS - ELECTRICITY. Do they expect us to stay at home (or at work) while they are flying all over the world and flying home every Thursday-Monday? Do they think they are the only worthy people to USE transportation energy? They feel WE are the ones who need to conserve - not them. Without a balance of conservation and new transportation energy, we will always be at the mercy of foreign nations. It is no more logical to only drill for oil in ANWR than it is to expect the US citizens must revert to bicycles and have NO solutions for TRANSPORTATION energy.

How did our Democratic Congress allow the mega-mergers of all the oil companies anyway starting in the late 80's? Exxon and Mobil merged November 30, 1999 - under Clinton's watch - unchallenged. However, mega-mergers in all industries had been on the rise during the Reagan Administration - under DEMOCRATIC Congress. SO - NO PARTY IS INNOCENT!

It's not JUST the oil men of Bush and Cheney who are receiving major lobbyist money. Shell/Texaco is supporting major players in the Democratic Congress. Wind power energy companies are lobbying BOTH sides heavily and contributing to both parties campaigns.

Extremists on both parties have been destroying our country for 3 1/2 decades, and each election their numbers go, both by new members and by the incumbents who felt, "if you can't beat them, join them."

It's time to take our government back! Defeat the extremists from both parties. DO NOT ALLOW AN ABSOLUTE MAJORITY FOR EITHER PARTY!!

Point made for certain in those scriptures is that being handed the Kingdom and being so young when his human father passed away---At least he had a good inspired instilled foundation, being King David's Young Son which could only serve to uphold and enhance---not to "CHANGE" in anyway, what was already set-in-stone through the Messiahship of his father, King David when it involved Civil Matters of living life within God's Kingdom Rule on Created Earth. Look in any Holy Bible in Isaiah 9:6 & 7 If you'd deny that would have not been true in his case as
    God's Kingdoms' youngest KING???

Comment: We have a choice, we can leave things in the hands of the Republican Party, who think about the american people only when they have to for political reasons. This off-shore drilling story is nothing more than a tactic held in reserve by the GOP, they count on the american people being too busy or uninterested in sorting through the details to discover the truth and that truth is , the oil industry has 68 million acres of leased property across this country, that they could be drilling on but the aren't.The current administration wants we the voters to believe that the only oil available is off-shore. That is not true. It keeps working for them politically though and as long as the public is willing to buy it, they will keep selling it. Some people compain that the government is not doing its job but it is we, the voters who can and should hold them accountable and I am not talking about criticizing the Dem. Congress and trying to hold them responsible for the miserable way George Bush has performed his duties as our President. We can stop being manipulated with predictable tactics that John McCain is engaging in and stop letting George Bush get away with playing politics with the serious issues that our country faces. The republican party boasts that it is for smaller government, well that is fine with me too but first the government should be efficient and should do what it is designed to do. When that is accomplished and the government is running smoothly, then we can worry about the size. Our country has grown and it seems natural that the government would have to adjust to better serve the people.

Comment: Pelosi blocks offshore drilling vote GOP wants
    Zachary Coile, Chronicle Washington Bureau
    Friday, August 1, 2008

For weeks, pressure has been mounting in Congress to approve more domestic oil drilling, but House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has held the line, using her power to block a vote on offshore drilling.

President Bush has made almost daily calls for Democratic leaders to take action. House GOP leaders, citing a new poll showing that a slim majority of Californians now favor offshore drilling, issued a release Thursday saying "even (Pelosi's) own California neighbors oppose her efforts to block new drilling far off American coasts." GOP lawmakers are so disgruntled they're urging Bush to deny Congress its August break by calling a special session on energy.

    Some Democrats wary

Even some Democrats are getting antsy, fearing the party's stance could hurt them in the fall elections. But Pelosi, who has opposed offshore drilling throughout her two decades in Congress, insists opening new areas to drilling won't lower gas prices in the short term. She believes a vote would only help the GOP blame Democrats for high gas prices.

"I will not ... give the administration an excuse for its failure," Pelosi said at an end-of-session roundtable interview Thursday.

Republicans have put a bull's-eye on the federal moratorium on coastal drilling, which has kept most of the East and West coasts off limits to new oil rigs since 1982. Bush announced earlier this month that he would lift the presidential moratorium on drilling, and the GOP is now seeking to lift the congressional ban.

Pelosi drew derision from her critics for telling the Web site Politico this week that she was blocking a vote on offshore drilling because "I'm trying to save the planet." But she elaborated on that theme Thursday,
saying she sees energy independence and fighting global warming as "my flagship issue." She said she will use her power to resist a policy that could increase the country's oil dependency.

  • Posted By: Davole @ 08/01/2008 12:55:51 PM

Comment: Continued - Pelosi blocks offshore drilling vote GOP wants

"I'm not going to be diverted for a political tactic from a course of action that has a big-picture view - a vision about an energy-independent future that reduces our dependence on fossil fuels ... and focuses on those renewables that are protective of the environment," she said.

Republicans are quietly gleeful at Pelosi's tactics, which have only breathed more life into an issue the GOP is clinging to as a lifeline in an otherwise grim year for the party. Some House Republicans said Thursday that they will ask Bush to order a special session of Congress in August if lawmakers adjourn this week, as expected, without voting on drilling.

While a special session is unlikely, House Minority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, made clear that his party plans to use the issue as a bludgeon against Democrats throughout the five-week August recess.

"A solid majority of Americans want us to have more drilling for more American-made energy, and they aren't going to take no for an answer," Boehner said Thursday. "Speaker Pelosi, Senators (Harry) Reid and (Barack) Obama are defying the will of the American people, and they're doing so at their own risk."

Some Democrats have already started to shift their views. Rep. Tim Holden, D-Pa., who voted two years ago against drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and for a federal ban on offshore drilling, told a hometown paper last weekend he now wants to "drill everywhere."

A new CNN/Opinion Research poll released this week found that 69 percent of Americans favor more offshore drilling, while 30 percent oppose it. But the poll found the public was split over whether more coastal drilling would lower gas prices, with 51 percent saying yes and 49 percent saying no.

I know you must be listing to Fox Fiction News, because they are using the same talking points! Yes, we should go after the oil baron who have been raping and looting America for the last 7+ years! I know Fox Fiction News didn???t tell you that Bush used propaganda and cherry picked information to invade Iraq which had nothing to do with 9.11! and to boot, Exxon Mobil (Who set another record for profits 11.68 billion with a b in profits) has contract with Iraq for oil and have been negotiating for the last 4 years! Are you that naive to believe Bush and the oil barons? Gas was around $1 and oil was less that $30 when Bush took office! Lets see Bush and Cheney made their fortunes from oil gas and oil went up over 400%! Can you connect the dots?

Comment: That is why people need to be educated because of the neo-nuts wanting ultimate power to run this country! People have no one to blame but themselves if we get Bush???s 3rd tem Teflon John McBush! (Nothing ever sticks to him he can say what he wants and the media never cover it) These neo-nuts have no remorse and will do anything to keep the power they stole from the American People! They will lie, cheat or steal! I am very disappointed that McCain is still a Republican Neo-Nut after what Rove under the direction of Bush did to him in the 2000 Primaries! But the smear and the low road campaigns that these neo-nuts stoop to never seem to amaze me! McCain sold himself to the Devil, Bush, and for that I have lost total respect! McCain could never raise money unless he has Bush on his side and now Teflon John! (Nothing ever sticks to him he can say what he wants and the media never cover it) has Bush???s oil buddies behind him to carry out Bush???s agenda for the wealthy! But on the other hand, If Barack wipes McCain, than all the Neo-Nuts in this country are sure to make a million excuses and whine and cry foul for the next 8 years! For that my right wing friends GET OVER IT!

Comment: Obama thinks he is the second coming of the Messhiah...his hubris and naivety demonstrate his lack of the appropriate skill set and experience to run this country. He is basically an empty suit with one fantastic PR machine. His recent pronouncement to use the revenues of the oil companies to give Americans $1000 each is SOCIALISM at its best....now we are going after any company that makes a profit??? Shades of Castro and Chavez! What he will nationalize high tech firms? Banks? Pharmacueticals? All because they make a profit, and HE wants to redistribute the wealth. America, wake up. The man is dangerous and an insult to the intelligence of the voters.

Comment: God bless American is the usual saying common in American society. What ponders me is why we Americans do not believe in God. King Solomon was a very young and unskilled when he was chosen as the successor of King David. I believe the Israelites know this story better. King Solomon was the best king that has ever ruled (1 King 3: 5, 7-10). Well, I am an independent but I will like to make the following point to those who think he is young and inexperience are missing the point because a good leader is one who is able to discern between good and evil. I guess you can make the judgement for yourself. Amongst thes two candidates, which of them is a war monger and which of them has been accused of being an appeaser?

Comment: Obama is no celebrity, he is just a regular politican feeding the population with the usual gimmick that tends to get them into position of authority. He has no empirical political wisdom, yet he proclaims to have alll the answers to the countless problems facing the American nation. He sounds more like Houdini to me or maybe it's just the senseless voter's mentality in effect once again since they last voted Bush into a second term. He really did a number on the nation & the world as a whole.

Comment: Many of you remember this....I discussed Hussein's Christian massacring cousin, in Kenya FOR WEEKS...All the obamamohammeds, tried to downplay ridicule, and discredit it. WELL, WELL, WELL.....seems a NEW#1 Bestseller is on the stands. Obama Nation...by..Dr. Jerome Corsi Ph.D(remember the swiftboats???) Here is what Dr. Corsi says............................

Dr. Jerome Corsi told Sean Hannity yesterday that he has tapes of Barack Obama campaigning for his COUSIN, Raila Odinga, in Kenya back in 2006.

Odinga???s trying to overthrow the US-backed government of democratically-elected President Mwai Kibaki, so he can institute shari???a law (fundamentalist merging of religion and state) in Kenya.

Obama campaigned for Odinga as a sitting United States Senator, where he spoke in front of crowds with his cousin Odinga:

There???s a natural train of logic here that could be very damaging for Obama in the general election if Corsi actually does possess footage of Obama???s Kenyan campaign tour:

    (1) Odinga???s supporters are determined to overthrow the Kenyan government, so his campaign appearances would address that as his chief goal.

    (2) By nature of wanting to overthrow the Kenyan government, Odinga???s supporters are anti-American, since the Kenyan government is US-backed (and at least partially reliant on the US for stability).

    (3) A successful campaign by Odinga would mean making anti-American statements, coupled with anti-Kenyan government statements, at campaign stops to rev up his followers.

    (4) Obama appeared at campaign rallies with Odinga in Kenya, for Odinga???s followers.

    (5) Obama has a proven track record of telling people exactly what they want to hear (see: San Francisco liberals re: bitter, gun-clinging Midwesterners; Ohio voters re: NAFTA; the Canadian government re: NAFTA; the liberal netroots re: FISA, campaign finance reform, you name it).

You know where this is going.

If Obama???s audience wanted to hear anti-American remarks, and Odinga always obliged these people, then Obama, with Odinga, at a campaign rally like this, as a sitting US Senator, well, fill in the blank. Or, go read Corsi???s book. Or, just wait for the tapes.

Should be interesting. BUT WHAT THE HECK....They were only Christians...RIGHT???

    NOBAMA!!!

Comment: UNHolyRoller, you are so full of crap that your eyes are brown. Obama's massacring cousin, Raila Odinga is a member of the Anglican Church, which is Christian. Odinga IS NOT Obama's cousin. Odinga claimed to be a first cousin of Obama on his father's side. Obama's uncle Said Obama has denied any relation to Odinga. Odinga did not become a candidate for the Kenyian presidential election until September 2007. MOST countries presidential election campaigns begin only a few months before the election, not a year and a half before like they do here.

The 2007 election results in Kenya were controversial. International observers said that the results were flawed at best. So flawed that our own government has not officially recognized the Kenyan government.

Odinga, since being a Christian would not be trying to istitute sharia law, which is islamic.

Since Odinga was running to be president of Kenya, he statements would not be anti-american or anti-kenyan statements, but would be against his opponent.

Dr. Korsi's book "Unfit for Command" was severly discredited and was shown to be full of lies and falsehoods. You also mentioned that his new book is a new #1 bestseller. Since it was only released yesterday it is not even on the best selling list, much less being #1.

Again Corsi did not even mention having tapes of Obama speaking for Odinga and Fox News didn't play any.

You and Corsi are full of sh*t.

      GOBAMA!!!

I saw the interview with Sean Hannity and Corsi NEVER mentioned having tapes of Obama campaigning for Odinga, in fact he didn't even mention that Obama had campaigned for Odinga.

Odinga has not tried to overthrow the "democratically elected" Government of Kenya. Unless, you mean overthrowing the government by running for the presidency of Kenya. Obama did make a speach in 2006 in Kenya, at the Univeristy of Nairobi, he did not speak out against the current government or for Odinga, he spoke out against the corruption in Kenya.
