i own 2 pairs and they are some of the most comfortable shoes i have ever worn. i understand that they are ugly, but they are comfortable. believe it or not there are people in this world that would chose comfort over fashion.

STOP THE INSANITY As a walking commuter myself, i walk almost an hour each day, just commuting to my job and daily activities, but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD YOU WILL NOT FIND ME WEARING GARDENING SHOES. Little sneakers, yes, they actually sell these, flip flops, yes, but when it comes to smurf shoes, I draw the line. I walked by an upscale restaurant today, which I only frequent on special occasions and all of the waitstaff were wearing crocs! An elegant black dress and crocs, really?
what a waste of space. the author didn't even have a good reason for writing it other than fashion. come on, get on it with it.... two pages on the ugliness of a shoe? i can't believe this guy is getting a paycheck for this
Hello
I think you and your Son are both full of Bull ***. and not eveyone thinks the same way you do. and you should teach your son not to be a little *** head and say mean things. but look as the Ass who is his father. and not all of us can wear flip flops and all that. so both of you can go to hell that what i think what you are writing you dum ass..
Amen! These shoes wihtout doubt are the ugliest things known to man. Purhaps the most depressing part is that the shoes will probably be around much longer than any of us will survive based on the decomposition rate of neon green rubber.
Dumb. That's all I can say, why worry about things like this when there are far more important things to worry about in life than SHOES. wow, you have way too much time on your hands. Yep I have a pair of crocs I can say that I would not go a full day on vacation walking without them, they're just damn comfortable. period.
i hate em too but get a life. And some parenting lessons
Dumb. That's all I can say, people worrying about crocs when there's more important things to worry about in life than some shoe. Sure I have a pair and I can say that I would not be walking miles and miles without them they are just damn comfortable. period.
Read the news. So far this summer, 3 children wearing crocs have been seriously hurt on an escalator in Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson airport.
OMG - I am in complete agreement with the author... Crocs are terrible. I am certain that there are a lot of things that are comfortable. I don't think that that gives us carte blanche to forgo all sensibility. They are terribly clownish. I have never tried them and I don't doubt their comfort. I just can't see as a grown woman (or as a child) putting on shoes that are neon and clown-like. The shame would be too much.
More power to you, friend. I have seen entirely to many of those godsforsaken things to ever have faith in humanity's fashion sense ever again; but your article has given me hope for the future. They have got to be the ugliest things the fashion world has ever seen; and that includes the '80s shoulderpads and leggings (which also happen to be coming back, god help us all). Oh, and to all you croc-lovers out there who are going to say that, "if you don't like them, don't look at them," we can't help but look. It's like a girl is walking around New York without a shirt on. How many people do you think are going to look away? So what if they're comfortable? My pajamas are comfortable. You don't see me walking around in a betty boop nightgown and 'bad hair day' pj pants do you?
I LOVE CROCS!!!!! Try being on your feet and serving others for 12 hours, perhaps you won't have time to be staring at others feet, and if your so obsessed become a podiatrist or create something else, You won't become an esteemed writer by calling people names sir.
ok seriously? A whole article about shoes? Who cares what other people wear! I do not think they are cute but I have 2 pairs for work, white and Black. I am a CNA and on my feet all day and they are the only things that are comfortable. Because you see some of us actually have to work, not sit on our asses writing dumb articles about another persons shoes. I also buy them for my daughter because they are the only shoes that I don't care if they get dirty! How sad that you teach your son to be so judgemental. It's seriously disgusting, I would never teach my daughter that just because someone wears something we don't like doesn't mean they are a "dork". They are also perfect for elderly people, because they have good support for slip on shoes, so what they are considered dorks too? You seriously need to think about what's more important teaching your son to be a judgemental jerk, like you, or spending quality time with him that is being wasted on judging. This article about your little obbsession about people's shoes isn't what pisses me off, because everyone has their own opinion, but the fact you are teaching your son to look at people and judge them on what they wear is wrong. Headline articles should be about things that matter like gas prices, and the next president. Not about one guy's obbsession with shoes!
Dear Katie_novosselov,
You should try ignoring celebrities! I don???t pay attention to a single thing those people are doing, and I have so much time on my hands.
Just today I commented favorably on a Croc article, and made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. A PB&J! On toasted bread!
I know, impressive.
What's wrong with Pabst Blue Ribbon?

Wow Lonewolf, that was the most misguided form of ridicule and criticism I've ever seem. You left me wondering, what the hell do (PRESIDENT) Bill Clinton and Crocs have in common? The answer--nothing. And what does voting have to do with Crocs or this article?...Again, nothing. How fabulously off subject are you that you must confuse one man's rant about Crocs with American sheep and our voting tendencies. My advice is to next time read before you write, or perhaps just think before you write. Yes, that would be a good idea.
OMG! Who cares....... let them be!!!
I really don't matter little kids (especially toddlers) wearing them so juts leave it alone. I don't agree with you but in respect that you had the courage to write this article and own it =) so kuddos to you.

stropwafellover <------------- You're such a weirdo!
I chose not to finish your "article" because I couldn't believe how idiotic it was unlike the infamous crocs. I also am a nurse and have tried many different shoes, and by the end of a 12 hour day, my back doesn't ache!!!! Maybe if you spent more time actually serving others you wouldn't be so wrapped up in what other people have on their feet!!
I can totally relate to this article. I am a mad cynic about plenty myself. And I am on the fence about crocs. They really are comfortable. But I just can't pay close to 50 bucks for plastic holed foam. I also don't want anyone to see me wearing them. But I want a pairr ;-) Krystal Morris Chicago, IL
Whats more pathetic people wearing crocs or people taking time out of there daily schedule just to put down crocs ? they are shoes get a life .
