It's men like you that should be running for president. I cannot stand any type of fad, most of all, the eye-bleeding monstrosity known commonly as Crocs. I am quite the nonconformist, and I often ask the seemingly fashion confused buyers of Crocs, "Do you know just how ugly those look?" And, just like a brainwashed society, they always reply, "They're comfortable." If this continues... I have no hope for humanity.

I just think that you are jelouse that you didn't come out woith the idea that is why you hate crocs so much. If you don't like them than that is your opinion but don't go hating on people who like them. And yes I do like them. So if you don't like them than don't look at the people who wear them. Because I can tell you that you wear some stuff that other people would not be caught dead in. So you wear what you want and you leave us other people alone to wear our crocs.Power To The Crocs

Wow, someone is really bored. And I say this while I am sitting at my computer in my very comfy black crocs. Which btw, I started wearing when my feet were so swollen I couldnt wear anything else and have worn ever since because they are so comfy. So I just want to say get a life, figuring out something more important in the world going on to complain about and I hope your attitudes dont rub off on your children.

God. I have never seen a more hideous brand of shoes in my LIFE. And they're everywhere! What are the people who wear them thinking? Seriously? They're called CROCS. I love when I tell people this and they argue with me, as though the comfort is enough to overshadow the public embarrassment. Or better yet, that I'M the one living in some fantasy land, and that Crocs really ARE fashionable. Psh.
And it's especially sad when you see that they've got their children wearing those fugly shoes too. I just think to myself, "if only they knew better". In my mind, forcing your children to wear Crocs is a distant form of Child Abuse.

Ha! this is great. I am glad someone actually wrote something great about these shoes. Honestly, I think everyone feels the same about these shoes, they are horrid. I wouldn't even let my 1-year old wear them. They look like old-lady gardening shoes. Well, in fact, I know for a fact my grandmother would be embarrased to wear crocs in her garden. ... great article!

I used to be on the croc hater band wagon. Thought how ugly they were. But, after breaking my ankle while walking in flip flops last summer, I've changed my tune and worn those comfortable and safe shoes, ever since.

Well well well...where do I start? Think of how long it took to write this harmless article, and then think of how much time you all waste in your lives. You probably spend more time doing nothing productive than it took him to rant on an unfortunate choice of shoes. At least he was doing something to be recognized by. It really doesn't hurt anyone and most of you are way to offended. I know standing on your feet 7 hours a day as a teacher may not be comfortable, but think about this...you probably are not on your feet the WHOLE time. You have a desk, you have lunch, and all teachers I know don't have classes continuously. I however am on my feet for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week sometimes with one 15 minute break. The shoes I wear are not Crocs, they are comfortable and they look good with what I wear. Crocs are a fad. People don't wear them because they are comfortable, they wear them because it's "cool" and they think they can use the "comfortable" excuse.

Please tell me this guy didn't get payed for this

For goodness sake. Chill the flip out. Not everything one writes about has to be serious and full of toatlly useful information. I loved this article. I'm also an avid Croc hater, and you know what? It's perfectly okay to not only dislike them but also to write an article talking about it and get paid for it. Oh I bet a trip to Disneyland would be a blast with you- I can see it now-- I make an innocent crack about some stupid hat someone's wearing and you give me a pointless lecture about it for twenty minues. It's funny, and that's all he meant it to be. I bet you talk to your kids about dumb stuff people do all the time to you- those without sin cast the first stone hon. And I bet your nephews in Iraq would probably find this article amusing. So maybe take the stick out of your tush and laugh... unless you wear Crocs yourself... that might explain the scorn...

Thank you so much! I hate Crocs more than any thing in God's green earth! I refuse to buy any thing that resembles them or sandals or any thing bearing the Croc name. Since when have we as a culture been so into comfort? What about stiletto heels and pantie hose? They look better than they feel, and we wear them. I'm with you! Stop this maddness!

I agree with the writer of this article! Crocs are the most ridiculous, ugliest shoes ever to have become a fashion! Seriously, why would you want to wear such hideous things on your feet? Keep those things in the garden!

I have serious foot problems anyway so wearing Crocs or Croc knock offs is thankfully out of the question!! My podiatrist actually recommended them to me. I can honestly tell him that I can't wear them. It's times like this that I'm THANKFUL for my congenital clubbed feet!!!
