Make. It. Stop.

Honestly, if you spend your time counting crocs and it sounds like you spend even more time bashing them, why bother. From what it sounds like your fashion isnt perfect and you admit to your fashion no-no's, then why can't you just leave the people who enjoy wearing crocs to themselves? It's just like any other shoe consumers buy, flip-flops, high heels, tennis shoes. If your even about to bash crocs then why dont you go after the guy who invented loafers too?

I am TOTALLY with you. I HATE Crocs. Everyone I know that has them is all like "BUT THEY ARE SOOO COMFORTABLE!" and I simply respond, "They are SOOOOOO UGLY!" The first time I saw them, I thought they were made of plastic. Finding out they are made of some kind of rubbery nastiness just makes them even more bizarre and gross. They are so friggin' ugly. And people put CHARMS on them. For pete's sake, you look like a child when you wear crocs. GIVE IT UP.

And to all the people who say they are anti-bacterial or whatever, I know someone who wore crocs in Costa Rica when I went and they got a horrible foot infection because of them. THEY HAVE HOLES IN THEM! HOW MUCH PROTECTION CAN THEY POSSIBLY GIVE YOU?! NONE!

And there's nothing worse than wet socks/feet, and Crocs only endorse that kind of uncomfortable feeling. I hate crocs.

The author needs to get a life more than those who wear crocks. Obsessing so much over a pair of shoes is really sad.

Puleeze... Isn't global warming a more worthy issue to rant about? What about the war in Iraq, and the threat of war with Iran?? Does this guy not have anything better to write about... or do? Croc watching with his son? What about wiffle ball and sliding at the park? Tuttle, I've no interest in reading this crap. Next time pick something more worthwhile to take up copy space with...

I like to say I don't read much of these articles but I decided today. I realize why I do not now. Mean while while there are probably hundreds of more important things in the world to take care of or more important things to teach our children to make their future brighter, we the people rather focus on subjects that will never make a difference in the world and our children's lives. I'm a waitress and crocks are the most comfortable shoes I have ever wore. when you are on your feet all day you need comfort not looks. I will never buy anything else but crocks LOVE them

Oh man, your article made my day! I live in the midwest and they're EVERYWHERE!!!!! Even people I thought I respected wear them. Now I doubt their overall judgment in life. I am a preschool teacher. Little children wearing them are one thing, but their parents? Please. These people are successful professionals
on their working days, however, on their days off, they break out the crocs! It's so unsettling.

I like to say I don't read much of these articles but I decided today. I realize why I do not now. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks Crocs are butt-ugly. I won't even go into the safety factor of those things not mixing well with escalators.

Let people be themselves. Even if we don't like it, they obviously do. That's the beauty of "Freedom of Expression"!

I was kind of wondering myself what the fashion trend was with these shoes, but you also have to wonder what happens to the crocs that go straight to the trash after they wear out because you KNOW that like 90% of garbage these days they aren't environmentally friendly! Is the company going to actually go green and recycle their shoes or what?... GROSS! I say screw the fashion! GO GREEN!!

Seriously, when I first saw crocs I thought they were gardening shoes...

Crocs - flip flops. Why do you care what people wear to be comfortable. It doesn't determine if I will eat a corn dog or not. Grow up and worry about global warming or starving children.

I don't care what adults wear. As a former daycare worker and a current k-8 teacher I beg parents to STOP SENDING YOUR KIDS TO SCHOOL IN THESE SHOES!!!!!! They are just plain dangerous and annoying. When the children run around (like children do) they fall off tripping themselves and occasionally others, sometimes injuring them. The younger ones just take them off and the teacher gets to spend the day putting children's shoes back on when she might otherwise have more time to read to and teach things to the children. For fire safety reasons children must be wearing shoes at all times and these don't stay on. They just don't. Keep them at home where they belong. Adults may wear what they please, children wear what their parents let them and Crocs ARE NOT SAFE or appropriate for your children at school. STOP IT, STOP IT, STOP IT!!!!

Crocks S@CK!! They shold be banned. I love this ariticle, you are right on!!!! Ugliest shoe ever invented, and I can't imagine any shoe being 100% odor resistent. Because you know what, Crocks STINK!!
