crocs are very comfortable shoes. I am on my feet 8 hours a day or more. standing all day pretty much and when I wear them my feet and legs never ache. If i wear anything else they ache terribly. and if you dont want to pay the price of crocs brand you can always buy knockoffs and walmart prices that are just as comfortable and you can buy them in calm colors such as white and black and tan. So you prolly should be dicussing something more important that footwear really!

Overated! Sorry, but your story should never have been in the first page MSN.com. There are pleny of interesting things about our world that people should be reading about. Not your OCD over Crocs. Now, if you were audition for the Next Comic Standing, maybe you would have a chance, but you still would have to support what you're talking about with a "good" cause, not only because you don't like the shoes!

I won't wear those myself because they make your feet look bigger than they are, but alot of people say they are comfortable. It's called a fashion fad, don't we all go through some fad at one point?! I remember girls wearing those Jelly shoes all in different colors, Michael Jackson jackets, Madonna's lace gloves etc. I'm sure there was something popular before my time. To have to write about something you hate with a passion means you need to Chill out!! That's good you put your anger in words though, sure don't want see some guy going off in a rampage over some shoes!!

That's so silly i wear crocs plain black ones and I am on my feet all day and in wearing any other shoe my feet and legs ache but with these crocs my feet never hurt. Before you complain about something so silly maybe you should try wearing a pair. and find something more important to talk about than what ppl have on there feet.

Come on! A little pair of camo crocs are so cute on a toddler! I totally agree that an adult should NEVER wear them, so tacky! My brother-in-law wears them with socks!!! And makes his kids wear socks with them! Bad parenting. I appreciate the article though... hope it changes things.

I have to admit that I stand on a line when it comes to crocs. I would absolutely never pay the price for a pair of real crocs, and I have NEVER wore a pair, real or knock off, into public before. I do however allow my children to wear them. They are comfortable as well as easy for them to put on and take off alone. I can't handle the crazy colors and fur lined crocs, I think that if it's about comfort it should be about basics, black, brown, tan, white, and navy. I would also like to say that the one pair I have purchased for myself I wear while I irrigate my yard. They are fantastic!

Wow, I mean I know I'll never wear crocs, and yeah I think they're ugly but I never thought there are people in the world, especially in the U.S. who would actaully hate them to the core. To the extreme of if someone is wearing a pair, the haters would like nothing to do or have in common with that person. We all have are brights and downs, and we all think of fashion and style differently. So of cousre there are going to be people in the world with different taste, but we shouldn't hate one another for our for the way we look. And I don't believe rasing a child the way you are is appropiate either, but hey this is the U.S. and you have your opinion and I have mine.

I read the whole thing looking for any redeeming value and could not find it. It was not funny. It was not informative (other than to inform the reader of the author's shallowness and pettiness). It was pathetic. And yes, you should also teach your child to judge people by the color of their skin. That's the next step. And, by all means, attach derogatory names to those skin colors.

A couple points and I will forget I wasted my time reading this article.
1. I can't believe you would allow your son to label people for the type of shoe they are wearing...GREAT parenting *golf clap*
2. The only reason I can find that Croc warehouses have an over abundance of shoes is because of the
MANY off label brands (Walmart, Target & Payless offer a similar item for a fraction of the price).
3. Though I agree that they are a fashion catastrophe, they are very comfortable. For people in the medical industry they are a god sent...there has yet been a shoe made other than crocs that remain comfortable for 10+hours.
Before you start going off on how a SHOE needs to be thrown out because YOU and a handful of others think they are ugly how bout applying for QUEER EYE FOR THE STRAIGHT GUY and getting rid of the PLEATED DOCKERS.

LMAO!!! We all think that Crocs are horrible looking but you actually SAID it outloud, KUDOS to you! Of course the hand off is that they are comfy. And people who are freaking out calling you bad names because of this article really just need to get a sense of humor, this is just an opinon. I don't believe that you are doing any harm to your son, and as a matter of fact I compliment you for spending time with him which is worth much more than gold!
