    ~Worried, concerned and upset about somebody elses shoes ? It's a free country ! Whatever floats your boat ! ~ I don't even wear Crocs, but I think maybe I will try them now.

    For sure, the idea that crocs are pure bad taste goes beyond cultural boundaries and subjectiveness since I can share your opinion from a different country. Now, in the northern hemisphere summer you are dealing with this unpleasant experience, but in Argentina we suffered this 'vogue' during summer, al least since october '07. Human beings have actually spoiled the esthetic of this planet since its origins.

    Ok look. They're shoes man. SHOES, the things you wear on your ugly ass stinky feet so no one else has the displeasure of seeing or smelling them. Why do we need the effing fashion police on everyone's ass about the things that cover them? If you think about it, other than slippers, shoes are some of the most uncomfortable things people have to wear when you're walking around in public. Flip-flops are Styrofoam with plastic thongs to keep on your foot, most shoes now-a-days are FOR the fashion and not for comfort. Too tight, too small, and no arch support at all. No wonder people turn to something that actually feels good for all of it and even helps out your back. I'd rather have a healthy America then a limping, lazy, pathetic America (which it already is). So if these things help people get up and walk as long as they aren't traveling the halls of the Brown Palace, so be it. Because you know you can say an awful lot of this guy's same upbraid about T-shirts, or dockers, or baseball caps, or jeans, or anything else. Their not classy, but we always try to pass them off as so. It's pretty obnoxious to know that while health cares are taking our money for no good reason, or people get wrongly accused in our justice system, or we watch our Earth die more and more, we're writing about people's shoes, and how unappealing they are...it really makes me sick that you go off and say that others are wrong while you're not even writing about something that needs to be made right. You're not even making a legitimate point about why we really need to stop wearing them...oh right, they're ugly. ...Ok...we could say that about our fearless leader, or cars, or littering, or ourselves; but we're not going to get rid of those anytime soon are we? Maybe if you're so concerned about what we wear, you should figure out a stylish shoe that supports the foot arch and lower back yourself, instead of sitting on your bum complaining about ugly things. I'm done with lazy America criticizing and pretending we're better than everyone. People use this *** for comfort, for help, so they don't have to feel so much pain every step they walk, so they can lose weight and make it so they can wear your prissy pretty shoes. GO OUT THERE AND MAKE IT BETTER. Is that hard to get? Stop typing away and DO something about it if it bothers you. Or if writing is your talent, find something better to inform us of besides how we need to slip on sandals in the morning to make your pupils feel better. Enough is enough, it is the time to search for things that really do need to be known. Write about our corrupt government, global warming, education, ANYTHING besides how ugly something is and how the people who wear them will never get laid and how whinny they are. My calling is writing too, and I hope I never have to write about something as rude and pretentious as you have just done. Sleep well Mr. President.

      WOW!!!! I cant believe that with this world going so bad and the war that is killing our SOLDIERS, who are fathers, husbands, brothers and, sisters and you are writing about some damn SHOES!!! Come on man, don't you have a life to take care of. Ok!! I know we are in America and you have freedom of speech, but why not use it wisely and write about something useful!!! Great example your teaching your poor child!! If you dont like the shoes, JUST DONT WEAR THEM but, seriously leave people that wear them be happy of what their doing, because as you have your freedom, they have there's too. Maybe, these shoes are not so trendy, or so cute, or fashionable, whatever, their super comfortable even my grandparents that are 73 and 69, years wear them. There not expensive like ortopedic shoes that don't even work for them and they do great for their circulatory condition and health.... SO GET OVER IT!!! Not because you or any ignorant that makes fun of these shoes, PEOPLE ARE GOING TO STOP USING THEM. There just shoes man, why dont you worry about our community and the problems they have. Maybe, I am more dumb because I read your article and also writng a comment about it, but dont think that because of this I'm giving the importance that you dont deserve, is just that you and people like you should start worrying about things that have a solution and start looking for one to make this world better...     Hilarious article. My brother and I actually sat and counted the number of people wearing crocs at an amusement park one day. It was astounding! I am a nurse and I wouldn't be caught dead wearing crocs or a pair of the equally hideous knock-offs! One of my fellow nurses wore a pair of bright acid yellow crocs to the hospital one day and another of my co-workers told her she really needed a mom to show her how to dress! It was quite hilarious actually. Crocs are unbelievably ugly and I can't believe anyone would want to be seen in them. DOWN WITH CROCS! Once and for all!!

    ok, so i really want to know who is actually paying you to write bs articles like this one? this is RIDICULOUS. noone, and i mean NOONE wants to hear you bitch and complain about shoes that you haven't even worn. seriously, i just wore those "poser crocs" made by sketchers all over disneyland this summer, and let me tell you, i'm glad i did, because that's a lot of walking to do in one week! they are sooo comfortable, and really light weight. they feel good on your feet when you're on them all day... but what would you know?? you get paid to write *** like this. seriously, there are way worse fashion crisis to worry about other than crocs. people in america have enough stress in their lives, and i hardly think they care if you don't like a certain brand of shoe. big deal. grow up. i think you should have picked a subject that really matters, like say global warming, or the big election, or the fact that our economy is probably going to go into a depression. oh, but who cares, because the world revolves around croc haters! how gay is that? so just get over yourself.

    I used to think crocs were so ugly but when you finally put them on they are sooo comfortable and I praise the nurses and doctors for wearing them because they are on their feet for ever during the day and some people dont have hundreds to spend on some special shoes for them. So please just back off about the shoes, there are more important things going on around the world, like hunger and dying animals, then worry about some shoes.

    The thing that kills me is that nurses and doctors wear them to work in, and they're not closed shoes. I really hope someone gets bled on one of these days and the hospitals "put their foot down" over crocs, because they're a "croc" for hospital workers.
