Funny, funny - the McCain camp's ad this past week say this to America:

"Don't elect Obama for President!!! He's MUCH TOO POPULAR, TOO BELOVED, TOO FAMOUS to be US President!!"

Elect McSame - he's MEDIOCRE, ATTRACTS FAR FEWER PEOPLE TO HIS APPEARANCES, is less popular, but he's so much more SUBSTANTIVE.

Huh? What kind of logic is this!!!? Hysterical! It's comic relief from McSame - he has nothing else to talk about except OBAMA! And no new ideas, no reason for any attention other than mendacious gossip, innuendo and disingenuous curiosity... Boy, that'll get him elected! haahahahahaa...

Just like the rest of the world!

    OBAMA ''08

What does the Republican party have to run on? The president and the party are about as popular as the herpes virus for good reason. McCain has a long and unimpressive record as part of the problem. I really do not care how elitist Mr. Obama may or may not be. Anyone, including an elitist, could manage the government better that the current administration of Republican incompetents. Mr.McCain leads to more of an unpopular war; more fiscal irresponsibility; and more hardship for middle class Americans. You can't expect different results from a man with the same convictions and beliefs as President Bush. For more pain vote McCain.

Speaking of popularity...How about Nancy and her Congress??? 9% approval rating. LOWEST IN AMERICAN HISTORY......Her stunt yesterday insures further decline.....Guess Hussein will throw her under the bus next......She has badly damaged many Dems seeking re-election....We will see MASS defections from her liberal loon camp.....TAKE IT TO THE BANK.....BTW...her book debuted this week...at #1040...it beat out.."How to Watch Paint Dry"....she has single handed turned the elections toward the Republicans. Thanks, Nancy.....

Many of you remember this....I discussed Hussein's Christian massacring cousin, in Kenya FOR WEEKS...All the obamamohammeds, tried to downplay it, ridicule facts, and discredit it. WELL, WELL, WELL ...seems a NEW#1 BESTSELLER is on the stands. Obama Nation...by..Dr. Jerome Corsi Ph.D(remember the swiftboats???)... Here is a bit of what Dr. Corsi says about The ONE............................

Dr. Jerome Corsi told Sean Hannity yesterday that he has tapes of Barack Obama campaigning for his COUSIN, Raila Odinga, in Kenya back in 2006. After being declared the loser...Odinga's thugs massacred hundreds of Christians (hacking with machettes, beheading, and burning alive), and used widespread violence, to be declared Prime Minister, in a power sharing role. The man is EVIL.

Odinga's trying to overthrow the US-backed government of democratically-elected President Mwai Kibaki, so he can institute sharia law (fundamentalist merging of religion and state) in Kenya.

Obama campaigned for Odinga as a sitting United States Senator, where he spoke in front of crowds with his cousin Odinga:

There's a natural train of logic here that could be very damaging for Obama in the general election if Corsi actually does possess footage of Obama's Kenyan campaign tour:

    (1) Odinga's supporters are determined to overthrow the Kenyan government, so his campaign appearances would address that as his chief goal.

    (2) By nature of wanting to overthrow the Kenyan government, Odinga's supporters are anti-American, since the Kenyan government is US-backed (and at least partially reliant on the US for stability).

    (3) A successful campaign by Odinga would mean making anti-American statements, coupled with anti-Kenyan government statements, at campaign stops to rev up his followers.

    (4) Obama appeared at campaign rallies with Odinga in Kenya, for Odinga's followers.

    (5) Obama has a proven track record of telling people exactly what they want to hear (see: San Francisco liberals re: bitter, gun-clinging Midwesterners; Ohio voters re: NAFTA; the Canadian government re: NAFTA; the liberal netroots re: FISA, campaign finance reform, you name it).

You know where this is going.

If Obama's audience wanted to hear anti-American remarks, and Odinga always obliged these people, then Obama, with Odinga, at a campaign rally like this, as a sitting US Senator, well, fill in the blank. Or, go read Corsi's book. Or, just wait for the tapes.

Should be interesting. BUT WHAT THE HECK....They were only Christians...RIGHT???

Buy the book...Most of America already has.............

    NOBAMA!!!

Its 2008 and we have lost the free media in the United States. We have a hoard of giddy female reporters following Obama like groupies without knowing what he stands for.

  • Posted By: Dencal26 @ 08/02/2008 8:28:26 AM

Personally I am thrilled to see McCain go on the attack. Democrats have been smearing Republicans for 7 years. They have called Bush , Rove and Cheney some detestable names and made some far reaching unsupported accusations all in the name of partisans bias. I hope we see more attacks on Democrats,

"It's downright sad that on a day when we learned that 51,000 Americans lost their jobs, a candidate for the presidency is spending all of his time and the powerful platform he has on these sorts of juvenile antics," he said.
John McCain "YOU STARTED THE JOKE"But I'M SORRY The Whole World is Laughing at YOU.

    John

"Senator McCain can keep telling everyone how proud' he is of these political stunts which even his Republican friends and advisors have called childish' but Barack Obama will continue talking about his plan to jumpstart our economy by giving working families 1,000 dollars of immediate relief."

Labor Department figures showed US employers shed 51,000 nonfarm jobs in July marking a seventh straight month of job cuts.

Obama meanwhile proposed giving American families 1,000 dollars in emergency tax rebates financed by a windfall profits tax on big oil companies.

The latest McCain video was released as a furore raged over the previous McCain attack, ad, which compared Obama to troubled popular culture divas Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, and mocked his global celebrity.

    • Posted By: abfabinri @ 08/02/2008 7:56:29 AM

Obama's only experience is with a crack pipe. After reading his book I think him and Oprah should rent a room and stoke up the pipe, as he is about as Presidential as Paris Hilton.

Whether we end up with a new kind of politics is not up to Obama, it's up to us. If we continue to reward the lies and deceptions of convenience, none of us can be too surprised when we find we can no longer trust those who hold the power. Regardless of political persuasion or party affiliation, no one can now turn a blind eye to the deliberate (and documented) deceit of the McCain campaign. I supported Mr. McCain in 2000 and I have been a registered republican as long as I have been able to cast a ballot, but this level of fabrication is far beyond the acceptable "stretching of the truth." I do not believe a man who has stooped so low deserves to represent the values of this nation.

I will be voting for Mr. Obama.

    • Posted By: cuppa jo @ 08/02/2008 7:28:46 AM

Yeah right. Whatever, you are one of Obama's paid bloggers.....

      • Posted By: abfabinri @ 08/02/2008 7:48:11 AM

Either that or he's one of Obama Crack smoking buddies as this is nonsense.

      • Posted By: LA2000 @ 08/02/2008 7:45:54 AM

Would your response make you one of Mr. McCain's paid bloggers?

I wish I could say that the disappointment I feel when I hear the distortions of Mr. McCain's campaign is paid posturing, but it is not. I have advocated for Mr. McCain for a very long time and supported him in the California primary in february. The Swift Boat number done on him in South Carolina by the Bush team was one of the most repugnant things I have ever witnessed in politics. He handled their slander and lies with the same dignity I see in Mr. Obama today. I only hope that this time around, the lies and slander don't win.

I will continue to believe that the world and the United States would be better off if Mr. McCain had won in 2000. It is unfortunate that in 2008, Mr. McCain has lost his faith in the american people and has decided that the only path to victory is a dirty one.

I believe if he had stayed true to the values he demonstrated in 2000, we would be looking at a great president.

Hey LA2000. Do you work for Newsweek too?

    • Posted By: abfabinri @ 08/02/2008 7:44:44 AM

If you mean stooping as low as Obama did to attack Hillary and Bill as racists...well you are right , it was pretty low. Obama is neither worthy of Presidency nor has the right stuff for the job.

  • Posted By: brdwyguy @ 08/02/2008 7:36:28 AM

MSNB and Newsweek are so ONE-SIDED in their reporting of the campaign, I can no longer listen to what they report anymore. It turns my stomach to hear/read the bias words used to describe the Obama campaign. If you think you are going to INFLUENCE the voters into agreeing with you - THINK AGAIN. The more people I talk to the more people are catching on to what is going on in this election. And are espcially not fooled by the press and the DNC - I think the word that was used in the old days for this was "RAILROADING" - this is the end of my jumping on to the MSNBC website - i have removed it from my Favorites colume of my browser and as for buying a Newsweek Magazine - YEAH RIGHT - i wont even pick one up in a Doctors office! Goodbye and Good riddence!

    • Posted By: abfabinri @ 08/02/2008 7:42:06 AM

Bye Bye! as John McLaughlin says....One less sniveling liberal loser, now if some of the MSNBC staff follow suit the network would be better off.

  • Posted By: abfabinri @ 08/02/2008 7:38:24 AM

Well if I listen to Keith
Olberman , who by the way is about as manly as Ross the Intern on Jay Leno, you would think that McCain was racially smearing Obama....I see nothing racial in this but rather just political nastiness which is to be expected. If Obama can't take the heat....well you know the rest!

  • Posted By: SAGG @ 08/02/2008 6:44:31 AM

This comes back to the critical element in the campaign--independents. Will they fall for the same thing again like they did in 2004, or will they repudiate McCain, believing he's changed from their darling of 2000? To me, he's clearly sold out. He ain't McCain 2000.

    • Posted By: cuppa jo @ 08/02/2008 7:30:44 AM

This ain't 2000 anymore. McCain has finally hit back. Obama will not bully McCain like he did HRC.

  • Posted By: cuppa jo @ 08/02/2008 7:27:20 AM

Oh come on. The average voter is sick of the obvious Obama bias you people hold. Nice headline "Doing a Rove"? Give me a break. How about Obama doing the "race card". He was, his camp admitted it, they have backed off, time to move on. McCain will not be bullied like Obama bullied Hillary CLinton. Obama is dropping in the polls so he thought his "dollar bill" comment that was veiled with racism would work again. Wrong. McCain clobbered him and rightly so.

As a Christian I would like to challenge all Christians on this website to call McCain's headquarters if they have seen his last ad. I am a Christian first, and an American second. I admit it, I can digest the Brittney Spears and Paris Hilton ad, but I cannot stomach the ad using religious references to Obama. I did not find it funny, I found it intolerant. Now, I have to wonder if given the opportunity would McCain use race as a joke since he's the only one laughing. If it's up to me, I will organize a Christian group where McCain and Obama camps will be told that religion and race are off limits. Give us the issues. Americans MUST DEMAND THE ISSUES.

the new McCain ads are right out of the Saul Alinsky playbook "Rules for Radicals" -- Obama's career textbook.... Very amusing! The ads go with Rules 4, 5 and 6:

In 1971, Saul Alinsky wrote an entertaining classic on grassroots organizing titled Rules for Radicals. Those who prefer cooperative tactics describe the book as out-of-date. Nevertheless, it provides some of the best advice on confrontational tactics.

Rule 4: Make opponents live up to their own book of rules. ???You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.???

Rule 5: Ridicule is man???s most potent weapon. It???s hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.

Rule 6: A good tactic is one your people enjoy. ???If your people aren???t having a ball doing it, there is something very wrong with the tactic.???

Rule 7: A tactic that drags on for too long becomes a drag. Commitment may become ritualistic as people turn to other issues.

According to Alinsky, the main job of the organizer is to bait an opponent into reacting. ???The enemy properly goaded and guided in his reaction will be your major strength.???
