With Democrats in control of teh Senate in 2001 to Jan 2003, The economy tanked! Now that they've had control of ALL of Congress since 2006 we have gas at $4 per gallon and a we're headed for a record deficit!! I think America has had enough CHANGE thank you very much!! Get rid BHO before he can help the Democrats drive oil to $200 per barrell and gas to $6 per gallon.

There is no Democrat VEEP candidate that can help America bring down the price of fuel, reduce the deficit bring freedom to enslaved people, or keep America safe. Tax and spend Democrats, that all they are proving themselves to be!!

Hah! This is nothing more than an empty exercise. This deal was made and the position offered back when BHO and Company bartered it to Richardson for betraying the Clintons and throwing them under the bus with his subsequent endorsement of BHO. No honor amongst thieves I suppose.
What a joke -- of course he's the ideal candidate for VP!! That way they can pull both the brown and black
vote. The only wild card might be angry Clintonites that are embittered enough over Richardson's treachery

Supposedly, Congressman Edwards graduated magna *** laude from Texas A&M University in 1974, with a degree in economics. Later, Edwards earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. He seems to be intelligent and may be able to provide some leadership on our hurting economy.

This comment is for you. It must be dishearting to have comments like the ones I have read below about your article on Rep. Chet Edwards.

This country under George Bush has add $4 trillion dollars to the national debt. The price of gas has gone from$1.25/gal. to $4.05/gal. Home prices are crashing. Jobs losses are growing. More than 4000 soldiers have lost there lives in Iraq and 30,000 wounded.

It is clear the USA needs to change direction. However, with this urgent situation, people waste time with useless comments about Nancy Pelosi and Hugo Chavez.

Hey all you out there put you mouths in neutral and your brains in motion. Rep. Chet Edwards, don't discount this guy so fast. I heard him speak on some foreign policies issues last year (07) on NPR radio and he is very impressive. All of you who are reading this article do your home work on this guy instead of spouting off! Ths guy is the real deal!!

The thing with this woman that is so easy to see is her downright lust for power ! Hillary is the same.When I look into the soul(spirit) of a person you can see the guile and pride far overshadow the humble servant of "we the people" in these queens.Maybe my tuner is off, but maybe not.
