Is Network Marketing Just a Scam?
There's a huge difference between network marketing and pyramid schemes. Learn the truth here.

Q: Some friends continue to try to recruit me into network marketing deals that seem like some type of money game or pyramid. Other friends tell me they're illegal and I'll get into trouble. How do I know what's legal and legitimate?
A: To help you understand what network marketing is, I must first explain what it isn't. First, network marketing isn't a pyramid scheme. Pyramids are programs similar to chain letters where people just invest money based on the promise that other people will put in money that will filtrate back to them and somehow, they'll get rich. A pyramid is strictly a money game and has no basis in real commerce. Normally, there's no product involved at all, just money changing hands. Modern-day pyramids may have a product, but it's clearly there just to disguise the money game.
Network marketing is a legitimate business. First, it's based on providing people with real, legitimate products they need and want at a fair price. While some people do make a lot of money through network marketing, their financial benefit is always the result of their own dedicated efforts in building an organization that sells real products and services.
Pyramids are illegal and are based on taking advantage of people. For a person to actually make money in a pyramid scheme, someone else has to lose money. But in network marketing, each person can multiply his or her efforts, skills and talents by helping others be successful. Network marketing has proved itself as part of the new economy and a preferred way to do business here and around the world.
Network marketing isn't about taking advantage of your friends and relatives. Only a few years ago, network marketing meant retailing to, and sponsoring people from, your "warm list" of prospects. Although sharing the products or services and the opportunity with people you know is still the basic foundation of the business, today we see more people using sophisticated marketing techniques such as the Internet, conference calling and other long-distance sponsoring techniques to extend their network across the country.

That may have been the truth in 2000, not sure if you have noticed, it's now 2008 and things have changed. Franchises were called scams when they started, people were arrested, people were fined. people lost millions of dollars, but somehow franchises are now mainstream business, why aren't you helping those lost souls, I know that people are still pouring thousand and even millions into franchise opportunities.. You obviouslly don't like MLM, so focus on something else. Nobody is forcing you to be involved in network marketing. We are all adults here, we can figure it out for ourselves without your one sided postings, most of us also have the interenet and we can also look up outdated information just like the stuff you're posting here..

To: all the hate filled and angry people on here...

The reason YOU are so angry and upset is because YOU failed miserably in network marketing, didn't YOU? This applies to all the other people on this site who quit before figuring out what makes one person totally successful in networking and another person a total failure. Why else would YOU spend so much time and energy on this website? Don't pretend it's because YOU care so much for other people. Who elected YOU the peoples advocate and caretaker anyway?

Everyone who has achieved success in network marketing knows your kind very well. YOU like to blame your failure on everything and everyone except yourself. YOU are the kind of person who only thinks of himself. This is one of the main reasons YOU failed at networking and the reason YOU will probably fail at everything else YOU do. YOU are selfish and do not truly care about other people. If you do achieve any kind of success it will only be temporary.

I am guessing YOU joined Monavie or some other company, then talked to everyone about how YOU were going to get rich. YOU did all the talking and you talked and talked and talked and talked.... Then YOU realized that no one was joining YOU. If YOU did sponsor someone, it's probably because YOU wore them down and they said yes just to get YOU off their back, right? Then they didn't go out and make YOU any money did they? Then YOU got mad at them, didn't you? Instead of learning what YOU were doing wrong and making corrections YOU just quit. YOU just blamed everything on others. YOU probably quit everything else, don't YOU. The problem is that YOU and your kind are a bore and no one really wants to hear what YOU have to say. Unfortunately, there are more people like YOU (selfish) running around than people who have the ability to lead and lift people up.

I have seen hundreds of people just like YOU come and go. Every time it's the same thing. Shift the focus off of YOUR FAILURE and blame it on someone else. YOU work so hard trying to get people to believe that the company or the product is a fraud or a scam. YOU spew out hatred and anger. It must suck to be YOU because YOU obviously do not have peace and joy in your life. Peace and Joy cannot exist where there is hate and anger. All YOU WANT is the company to be shut down so YOU can somehow justify your failure because as long as the company exists, it's in your face reminding YOU what a loser and a quitter YOU are.

You see, it's all about YOU, isn???t it? (to be continued)

    Part II

Your biggest problem is that no one really believes in or even cares about what YOU have to say. YOU truly do not influence anyone because, again, it's all about YOU and people do not respond well, nor do they take seriously or care about what YOU want. They patronize your negativity and shake their head in agreement and at the same time they are just wanting something positive. People respond very well to positive. I can have someone read every word on this stupid blog and then within the hour I can turn around and sponsor them into Monavie or any other network marketing company.

The difference between YOU and me is that I listen to people, I understand what they want and need and I show them how to get it. They know I care about THEM. I help people believe in themselves and I help them earn money.....yes and a lot of money. I teach them how to do the business correctly and how to duplicate themselves. You see, it's all about helping others get what they want. I know you don't agree but you are still in denial. That's OK, there is always hope and it's not too late for you...

Tony Dokoupil is really a nobody. Oh sure, he's having this short burst of attention as he hoped he would but he will never earn any Pulitzer prizes for this pathetic work of fiction. He and the news media knows that bad news sells. He admitted he had already "heard tons of positive testimonials" but he purposely sought out people who were negative. Jeez, in my experience you don't need to go far to find someone who has something negative to say about everything. His article was not true journalism. It was biased, incorrect and opinionated (to be continued)

    Part III

In spite of this, I really appreciated the article because the exposure to Monavie and the free advertising is awesome. Everyone knows that every successful company has it's opponents. If I were in another juice company or AMWAY I might feel envious of Monavie's success too. I am proud that we are getting attention! Any time an article like this comes out, I carry it with me and show it to my prospects. It's a fantastic way to start conversations and my sponsoring rate sky-rockets. I bring new people in the business and they start off being immune to all your kind of negativity. A true professional knows how to turn everything into a positive!

No matter what you do, you will never stop this incredible industry called network marketing. It is probably one of the greatest examples of free enterprise that has ever been created. Imagine a business where your success is only limited by how far you can see and how far you are willing to go to get there. Networking is all about HELPING other people. Too bad you never stuck it out long enough to learn this. What a waste of your life's energy. You could be a positive force in people???s lives but instead elect to spread your hate and anger out on anyone unfortunate enough to hear it.

Success is a journey my friend. It takes among other things, hard work, belief, faith, persistence and determination. I hope you figure it out before you end up like all the negative people before you......broke, sick, stupid, ugly and full of regrets.

    I rest my case.

    God Bless.

Is Network Marketing just a scam part 2:
Network marketing isn't a get-rich-quick scheme. Of course some people do make large amounts of money very quickly. Many would say those people are lucky. But success in networking isn't based on luck. (Unfortunately, money won't sprout wings and fly into your bank account no matter what someone has promised you.) Success in network marketing is based on following some very basic yet dynamic principles.
Now let's discuss what network marketing is. Network marketing is a serious business for serious people. It's a proven system where the design, creation and expense the corporate team has gone through becomes a road map for your own success. Just follow the simple, proven and duplicable system that the good companies provide.
The real key is this: Network marketing is all about leverage. You can leverage your time and increase the number of hours of work effort on which you can be paid by sponsoring other people and earning a small income on their efforts. J. Paul Getty, who created one of the world's greatest fortunes, said "I would rather make 1 percent on the efforts of 100 people than 100 percent on my own efforts." This very basic concept is the cornerstone of network marketing.
For example, most successful people building a network marketing business do so in an organized method. They work a few dedicated hours each week, with each hour of effort serving as a building block for their long-term business growth. Then they sponsor other people and teach those people how to sell the company product and sponsor others who duplicate the process.
By helping the people you personally sponsor to sponsor others, you duplicate yourself. As this process continues, you create compound growth that can lead to hundreds or even thousands of people coming into your business. You leverage your time by helping others be successful and earn an income from all their efforts.
With network marketing, there are no big capital requirements, no geographical limitations, no minimum quotas required and no special education or skills needed. Network marketing is a low-overhead, homebased business that can actually offer many of the tax advantages associated with owning your own business. Network marketing is a people-to-people business that can significantly expand your circle of friends. It's a business that enables you to travel and have fun as well as enjoy the lifestyle that extra income can provide.

I have personally tried the product and I love what it has done for me. I am a Type II diabetic that controls it through diet and exercise. My aches have gone away, most likely due to the fact it has glucosamine (plant derived) in it. I also sleep better and I know it cannot hurt to get extra helpings of fruits everyday. The product is a bit pricey, however, how much is your health worth to you? $50-$500-$1,000 a month? I do earn approx. $200 a week but I started as a distributor ($39 lifetime) three weeks ago. My dist. # is 1394264 from there call me and we can talk!!

Having lived in Manaus, Brazil, in the heart of the Amazon, I had the privilege of being exposed to the infamous Acai berry early in 2005. However, instead of bottled blends of impure Acai whatever, I was lucky enough to drink the real stuff, freshly pressed, thick and grainy in its most natural form. During the years I was there (with spiders, cockroaches, mosquitos, dirty buses and streets, drinking well water and trudging though mud), I never once had even a trace of illness. I drank (from a bowl, with a spoon, like it's supposed to be eaten) Acai at least once a week, often several times a week. I would buy a liter and drink it for breakfast, the whole thing, not just an ounce. Who knows, maybe I overdosed on it. But this I do know....Acai sustained me through long, hot, tough days, and kept my body strong and free of sickness.

As far as I'm concerned, I know Acai to be effective. Although the hype is now huge, there is truth to this product. The key is finding the real stuff, not this watery blend of berries that everyone sells for way too much money. By the way, a liter would cost me about a buck, USD, and the real stuff didn't last for 30 days in the fridge. I was lucky if it lasted a week in the freezer.

    Mona Vie Formula
Mona Vie is a potent new juice blend of 19 fruits with its main ingredient the Acai berry. Mona Vie comes in 2 different formulations -- Original containing the 19 fruits with the Acai berry, and Mona Vie Active which adds Celadrin and Glucosamine to help promote flexibility and joint health. Read our Frequently Asked Questions about Mona Vie nutritional acai juice.
Mona Vie is a 100% whole fruit blend, NOT made from concentrate. It contains NO artificial flavors or colors, and has no added sweeteners. By pureeing each fruit in its entirety -- flesh, skin and seed, the full complement of nutrients is captured. Fruits with the richest pigments and most intense colors were included for their peak levels of antioxidants and phyto-nutrients. With precision and great care, researchers and scientists have sculpted the Mona Vie formula into an authentic solution for healthfulness.

    The Forgotten Fruits
The Mona Vie medical team realized full well that the world's population at large was sorely lacking in the life-changing nutrients that come from some of nature's most wondrous fruits. For most, their only fruit intake has become an occasional apple, banana or orange.

Cheaper, processed alternatives have replaced many of the Earth's most powerful resources for optimum health -- FRESH FRUITS from the richest soils of the world. Yet in this age of environmental pollution of air, water and food, the need for wholesome fruits has never been greater.

Knowing that proper intake of the RIGHT variety and balance of fruits could enormously benefit mankind, the Monarch scientific team declared its mission. Headed up by renowned scientist, Dr. Ralph Carson, they began their quest to identify and harness the potential of both everyday Forgotten Fruits and exotic fruits known only in remote locales to native populations.

One rule was paramount -- compromise in the quality of Mona Vie's ingredients was NOT an option. And regardless of cost, the formula MUST include a spectrum of fruits that would significantly impact the landscape of personal wellness and deliver SWIFT results. Delicious taste was also a firm requirement!
Mona Vie is a reconstituted puree from a proprietary blend of fruits from around the world described on this page. Join us for more details at http://www.livelifesmarternotharder.com

Wow, just poked around online and found this stuff about yerba mate tea which is contained in this Acai plus drink. Personally I don???t think I would take a chance regardless of what the company that makes this stuff tells me. Looks like these Acai plus people are taking a huge chance just to make a few bucks. I hope their company has liability insurance on every one of their distributors in case there is ever a law suit. I think all you folks should call your company today and get answers about the cancer issue with yerba mate tea.

Hey AcaiPlus people, Ask TriUnity about the CANCER RISK of YERBA MATE that is in your product.and if their plan is to continue endangering people's health by putting YERBA MATE in their product. If you're all going to keep riding the MonaVie wave here, then at least have the decency to remove YERBA from your product before you cause harm to your users. Ask TriUnity WHY it's in your product and ask them to remove it ASAP!.

Once again, here is a tiny list of studies found on PubMed, a Government Website.

High levels of carcinogenic polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in mate drinks.

You can search for dozens more, just go to ...
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/ ... and type in YERBA MATE CANCER and you will be amazed and mystified on how many cancer studies there are on YERBA MATE. Sick of Mona Vie but LOVE Acai berry? Rare opportunity to get in on or near ground floor of a new acai berry company. The juice is much higher in actual acai berry. Plus no concentrate, no powder, it's pure acai berry pulp. Company launches the 1st of Sept. Better product, better commission and payout, plus the ground level opportunity!
Email me at acaiVway@gmail.com for more info.

Cool,so in your miracle product, what is the total solids content of your Acai that you are using in your product? Is it 1%, 2%, 5%, 8%, what? This will determine the quality of the Acai you use. Most companies are between 2-4% solids, MonaVie uses Acai that is at least 14% solids.

Acai Plus is just another company trying to ride on the shirt tails of Monavie's success. There is only one real deal and it is Monavie. No one has what Monavie has.
