Skmonavie, so are you saying i only need to drink this for breakfast lunch and dinner and i will reap all the benefits of eating a healthy diet. You are one of the people that make this product sound like a scam. Promote the product for what it is, a fruit drink! An expensive one at that. Drink SAMBAZON they have an honest product and they don't rely on wives tales to sell their product.

There is no wives tale & IF you dont believe putting '19, YES '19' WILD TOP SUPER FRUITS from around the World including the Acai = #1 SUPER FOOD as noted by DR Schauss, DR Perricone and many others studying and discovering it....then I feel sorry for you. Look up facts people...its all there. Thats all we did. Get up to date on the TOP SUPERFOOF and fruit in the world noted & discovered to date. Yes, all this other stuff is great nutrition for you as well, but MonaVie is superior due to its patent pending process preserving 90-100% of the nutrients, the amounts of fruits and antioxidants and more. You cant compare a product with 1 fruit or 2 to one with 19 including the Acai! Ask Dr Perricone, Dr Alex Schauss, Dr OZ, on Oprah ...etc etc....its out there in the media, WHERE HAVE YOU GUYS BEEN ??? Are you not you staying up to date??

the vast majority of people who get into Monavie do so only to drink the juice. Some say they want to do the business but they get turned down a few times and stop. The only difference between someone making nothing in Monavie and someone making six figures is the amount of times they've been told "no". The more no's you get, the more yes as well.

Probably ninety percent of the people just drink it, the other ten percent are making good money because just like with anything else, they try hard and they have a good product to back it up with.

There's no salesmanship in Monavie, its simply the juice that speaks loudly for itself. All I personally do is I share the juice. Whomever pours the most juice wins.

My wife and I are Bronze executives about to go Silver making a little under 500 dollars a week residual income. We started in February, did it for about a month evenings, having tastings, then stopped, got busy, and the residual income kept coming in. We actively started up again this summer because we started making too much money to ignore it. Our goal is to be making a thousand dollars a week in residual income by winter, which actually is a pretty low bar for people doing Monavie as a business believe it or not.

The drink is fantastic. Everyone should be drinking it as a preventative in the same way you should be eating fruits and vegetables.

you can click "enroll now" at our website or go there and just browse the videos. our site is mymonavie.com/thesuperjuicesource any questions we can answer at thesuperjuicesource@yahoo.com

The great thing about Monavie is that its set up to help newcomers who want to do it. We're a big team of people that are positive minded and health minded. We can help you learn how to share the juice and make a nice second income with it. It only works because the juice does.

    Juicelover, not true.

The FDA not only governs drugs and medicine but also food and beverage. (ie: Bottled water is govened by the FDA). Thats why it's called the Food and Drug Aministration agency.

Please don't spill lies online to better sell your product, you're better than that.

    • Posted By: Juicelover @ 08/06/2008 3:56:35 PM

Beef, is also FDA approved along with all the other foods that were recalled for getting people ill....hmmm, I guess we can trust them to regulate and inspect everything to make sure we don't get sick. Come on, really!?! Check out the FDA site and you learn the truths....then comment back.

I am not in it for the money and don't sell it, but a friend of the Family has been doing well with this and he gave me case (4 bottles) to try out. I have psoriasis(skin disease) and it has definitly helped minimize the effects of this disease. This juice has never given me any negative side effects and I have been taking it for the last 4 months.

  • Posted By: GusinCA @ 08/06/2008 2:47:43 PM

What I don't like is how there is no label showing how much Acai is really in each bottle. At least Naked Juice shows you exactly the breakdown of the contents.
I tried the Mona Vie, and it gave me loose bowels...

Oh PS speaking of the FDA... are u folks seriosuly going to trust in the FDA? You DO realize that the FDA has approved ASPERTAME, right? AAAND how many people have been killed by aspertame? the number in comparison to the world is not significant, but the point is that FDA says aspertame is okay yet it has killed people.... I'd rather Monavie NOT be approved my the FDA....

Well since Newsweek gave you a one sided view on this company and product. Wouldnt it only be fair to look at the other side of the coin. A great blog site to get some information first about the media take on the Network Marketing Industry go here. (http://orrinwoodward.blogharbor.com/blog) The industry deffinetly has it's good and bad companies, but all the more reason to hear both sides of this story. Newsweeks Math is off alittle bit and needs to be more accountable. To learn more about the facts of the product not the claims visit (www.the-team.biz/mv1034777)

    • Posted By: healthy1 @ 08/06/2008 3:54:22 PM

crookwn, Newsweek went by the official numbers that Mona Vie had to file with the govt. Nothing biased or one-sided about that. When only a tiny, tiny fraction of ALL the distributors of an MLM co. are making the megabucks, you have a pyramid scheme not a co. Same thing happened with Noni, Herbalife, etc. Greed and deception has unfortunately been the name of the game in MLM for years. But as PT Barnum said, there's a sucker born every day. And as long as that's the case, we'll continue to have companies like this one.

If you do the research, Monavie will tell you that acai makes up about 60 percent of the blend. The other 18 fruits have been selected due to the synergistic effect they create when combined, giving a lot more nutrition than one form of antioxidant alone.

The company has been wonderful. They operate with the highest quality controls, with a patented process of preserving the nutrients in the juice no one else has. Monavie is also very clear that we can't make excessive health claims, although they have recently said that we can speak about several cancer studies that have been published with Monavie, as Monavie in a double blind study killed cancer cells in a laboratory setting. These are scientific studies not the words of unscrupulous snake oil salesmen.

Day after day I see what Monavie is doing to people's lives, both in terms of health and wealth. Its made a tremendous difference to our lives personally. We're living with more vitality and financial freedom. We wouldn't have imagined 450 dollars a week in extra residual income could be so helpful, but it is.

Not to mention how happy it makes us to see other people do well with this. Its so joyous to see other people do well and get excited as their health improves and so does their financial outlook.

If you want to know more, go to mymonavie.com/thesuperjuicesource or email us at thesuperjuicesource@yahoo.com

Bottom line, there's a lot of things you can do to help your health naturally, and eating an apple a day is one of them. Monavie simply takes proven principles and puts it in a bottle for you to pour.

Whomever pours the most juice wins in our business, both health and wealth wise.

HELLO!! re: response to "juicelover." How old are you? The F in FDA is the area that will cover approval in the US for this product. When we fix our Federal Government this fall, you can bet all US consumer protections, energy, emergency managent, military etc. will have qualified public servants at their posts to replace the puppets that have broken our government. If your juice drink is valid, Americans need and will want to know.

What does my age have to do w/ it? Get ur facts straight, Mona Vie is NOT a DRUG or MEDICINE!!! Check out the FDA website and get the facts before u start spewing out bull.

  • Posted By: michellekryscio @ 08/06/2008 3:51:46 PM

The ignorance of the person that wrote this article is unreal! He obviously twisted everything he heard trying to get ahead at Newsweek. MonaVie is a juice! I don't make claims that it is going to cure cancer, beat diabetes, stop aches and pains or make you lose weight. I follow the companies approved claim list to the book. With MonaVie, you can drink 4 ounces a day and get the antioxidant capacity of 13 servings of fruits and veggies. Furthermore, when drinking active, you are getting glucosamine that lubricates your bones and joints. In addition, the acai in MonaVie is opti-dry freezed (the patent is pending on our process) and all the other "cheaper" acai out there is spray dried (which means...watered down and not as high in anti-oxidants). ALso, have you checked out the sugar in the others as well as calories and fat...off the charts!

In regards to people making money....you have two types of people in MonaVie. The ones that just want to get in to purchases their juice at wholesale when they want and the ones that want to build a business. On my team,we talk about both aspects of MonaVie and never discount the business side. This is a team business and our team works as a team. I am such a team player that I am heading to Brazil tomorrow to work with my team in Rio.

For all the negative people bashing networking marketing...PLEASE STOP!!!! MonaVie is a first rate company that takes care of their distributors. We put out Income Disclosure Forms, we reward you with trips and we give you the tools to get a biz off the ground. Furthermore, I don't want more than one product. I use to rep a clothing line with 400 pieces a season...what a nightmare! You are your own boss and make your own decisions. I have NEVER have not gotten paid when I worked and when I don't work, I don't get paid. I don't trade my time for money and I get to spend time with my family everyday! I don't have to work, but saw the MonaVie Opportunity and jumped on the train.

For the individual that wrote this article, you really need to talk with others and you need to do further research in regards to MonaVie and the individuals behind it. You neglected to mention Henry Marsh...our other co-founder. He is a 4-time Olympian and holds many degrees from various universities....

When anyone hits me with...this is a scam or a pyramid, I absolutely laugh in their faces. MonaVie is the farthest thing from a pyramid that I have ever seen!!! Look into all the high profile athletes and individuals who are drinking the juice as well as doing the business side of MonaVie. The obviously saw something that you didn't......if you don't believe me go to www.monavieonthemove.com and see who is drinking it.

Opie here: I have been drinking Monavie for over a year now and visit www.mymonavie.com/lifelong. I am very young and never abuse any drugs, tabacco or else I am Blessed. I drink because it recommended and I cannot follow the piramid. I eat fruits but I always have left over for the trash man. But with MonaVie I recycle the bottle. My parent are on it too they don't tell me how much pain they have anymore instead is when do we get our case. I love the juice, my niece is on it now she is more focused in school and she sleep better at night. Thanks to the Great Divine and fruits from MonaVie. www.brighart.com

After 9 months of drinking the juice my sister and I decided to become CEO of our own MonaVie Distributorship. Dedication and commitment is a must, it's not a hobby. Some of my friends ask me why I drink the blend but I ask them why they drink Soda, Beer, Smoke, Mac Donald, Burger King or whatever. Add the money per month of all those things together and you could be drinking MonaVie daily for your health. www.mymonavie.com/lifelong/

A bowl of acai in Brazil costs about $10 and it comes with banana (or strawberries) and granola and taste wonderful... I've had a taste of Mona Vie and (maybe it was a coincidence) I had a terrible stomach ache and the drink has an horrible taste! So after my experience I still believe that is always better eat the real fruit, maybe you are not going to find acai at your nearby market but you can buy a lot of berries and bananas with $ 40 and eat healthy... Avocado for instance has a lot of monounsaturated fat like acai, what is good for your heart... so why not try something real instead of some fancy juice with stuffs that you don't even know what it is, right?

  • Posted By: CaveatEmptor @ 08/06/2008 2:28:34 PM

Another MLM scam with highly exaggerated health benefit claims to dupe the unwary. So many products claim to have "health" benefits, but have no credible clinical scientific/medical research to back up the claims. At best, someone experiences a placebo effect, at worst some ill-advised soul may stop taking a diabetes prescription and die. Caveat emptor.

    • Posted By: gymrat @ 08/06/2008 2:31:09 PM

you need to read the research and it is out there and yes it is real

      • Posted By: CaveatEmptor @ 08/06/2008 2:54:17 PM

Research would include data properly collected and analyzed from unbiased, qualified medical testing facilities. I did do research, in fact I have formally studied qualitative and quantitative design methods, and data analysis does not consist of biased testimonials given by biased individuals. What is scientifically valid can be shown by an analysis of data generated in a properly constructed experimental design. Anything else is not valid science. Just because it "feels good" doesn't make it science or healthy. Some people may have a life threatening food allergy to berry juice, and it would be far from healthy for them. A few people will make a lot of money from the ignorance and fears of others.

By the way, I also study and maintain interest in health and fitness training. There are no wonder pills or shortcuts to getting fit and healthy. Some people will always look for the easy way out. That's reality.

        • Posted By: TRUTHisneededhere @ 08/06/2008 3:22:58 PM

okay, why are you looking at testimonials when you should be looking at the science and nutrional value of all the fruits in the juice...especially the acai? I wouldn't want you to consider the testimonials, study the anti-oxidants, phytonutrients, essential fatty acids and minerals that make up the fruits...those are the elements that are interacting inside our bodies. Independent research has been done on the acai...go look a little bit harder or maybe try for the first time.

You misread my post. Evidently, you have something you desperately want to sell because it's "Good for me". No is the answer.

        • Posted By: gymrat @ 08/06/2008 3:06:44 PM

Read the scientific proof in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry and another good one for you to read and study is the article found in AIBMR Science, Inc. Get back to me after you read up a bit

          • Posted By: CaveatEmptor @ 08/06/2008 3:38:21 PM

Thanks, but no thanks. After I spent years in learning legitimate research techniques, retail marketing and psychology, no human has the means to convert me to support or buy any product. To say I'm not interested would be the most polite thing I could say. We all eventually die no matter what we do to postpone that final appointment. I'm at peace with who I am and I am ready to meet my maker at any time. That makes it easy to say no when the B.S. gets too thick and heavy. Fear and ignorance lead to poor choices and actions. What's healthy for me may not be healthy for you. Cheers. Remember, no means no.

        • Posted By: gymrat @ 08/06/2008 3:15:02 PM

Also CaveatEmptor I am a personal trainer and I know people are not eating 5-7 servings of fruit a day as recommended by the American Cancer Society. And that is your reality. So yea, if someone drinks 4 oz of Monavie which equals 12-13 servings of fruit a day isnt that a great way to take "the easy way out" to good health?

  • Posted By: kmgask2 @ 08/06/2008 2:37:03 PM

As a dietitian, I have come across this juice in my line of work. It???s my opinion that the juice can have health benefits. But I also believe you can get those same health benefits in a more economical way through simply eating everyday fruits and vegetables, especially those that are nutrient dense. Don???t believe me???looks at the ORAC report and check some of the highest antioxidant sources as compared to that of Acai juice while not bashing Mona Vie I would like people to consider this. When supplements like this make grand health claims look at exactly how much of the Acai berry juice is in each serving? Does the label even list this information? Do you know how much it would take to reap the health benefits and could you get those health benefits elsewhere? My impression is that Mona Vie is a very expensive fruit juice. Go to your local health stores and buy any number of 100% juices if this type of nutrition is appealing to you. But otherwise you can start changing your diet to include a wider variety of fruits, vegetable, legumes to reap the preventative benefits of antioxidants.

    • Posted By: gymrat @ 08/06/2008 2:44:49 PM

Let's face it people do not eat the recommended daily allowance of 5-7 fruits a day. Even if they eat a banana and some grapes flown in from Chile (which decreases the nutritional value) they are not doing it. 4 oz of Monavie is equivalent to 12-13 fruits a day. This beverage has 18 other fruits in it. Acai is the main fruit as it is listed first. There is no other fruit or food for that matter that has the same ORAC value as Monavie. It may be expensive but what price do you put on your health?

      • Posted By: radbee @ 08/06/2008 3:45:04 PM

Sorry to burst anyone???s bubble, but there is another vitamin and mineral product out called VIBE that has an ORAC value of 2,600 per fluid oz as compared to MonaVie???s ORAC value of 1,000 per fluid oz. Also, VIBE costs $39.95 for 32.0 oz, as compared to MonaVie at $39.00 for 25.4 oz. For a complete nutritional label on VIBE, go to http://www.vibeforme.com/Vibe1.aspx and scroll down the page. Similar to MonaVie, individuals can also become distributors for VIBE, or just purchase it for themselves.
