Monavie is REAL, those posting comments about taking the product for two weeks and didn't feel a thing WOW what are you suppose to feel. Monavie is a preventative that has 19 body beneficial fruits, by consuming a diet rich in fruit our bodies are designed to do remarkable things. Look at it this way, why do so many of us drink Milk and or Orange Juice? The reason is that we have been conditioned that they both are good for our bodies. Didn't think so but you continue to drink. By consuming Monavie you are able to live a healthier lifestyle and create a stream of wealth for yourself. When I go to the local market and by vitamins, juice, milk, anything healthy to help my body and its longevity, that local market doesn't send me a check! www.thegreatproduct.com/stefanitsis we have a team of everyday people who love the product and the .business opportunity Thank You Monavie

Some of you may think Mona Vie is expensive, it does cost, but I know as a diabetic when I did not have insurance, my meds cost $300 a month. I can take Mona Vie for a month and it will cost a lot less than that. I have personal issues wth the business side of it and I am a distributor, but they are MY issues. I have absolutely no issue with the product. I love the taste and wish I could afford to drink more than 4 oz a day, but I can't. I think in order for any MLM to be different or become positive and turn the repuation around, the people involved have to help others within their line more. But for me, this article is more about the product and just goes to show that the journalist who wrote the article took his information from statistics and not from experience. Shabby journalsm.....as usual.

It is very apparent that that writer of this aritcle and the na-sayers have not tried Gods perfect drink. Doctors, nutristionist, scientic, and our moms tell us to eat more fruits and vegetables to keep us healthy. What a better way than to drink what we need when most of us, with our busy schedules don't have time to stop and pick up an apple or two. I drink this every day and the benefits out way the cost. I spent more on vitamins and mineral in one month than what it cost me for Mona Vie. Only about 10% of vitamins are obsorded into our bodies and the rest is sent out as waste products. Mona Vie is obsorded 100%. Is because of comments like these, that are so negative that I find it hard to sell the product. I use the product for the benefit of myself and my husband and if we sell some thats fine. I have known several women who have had fibermyalgia after being on the product for three months that are free from pain. Anyone who has this knows what I am talking about. My pastor's wife suffers from ovarian cancer and is going through cemo treatments and the doctors are pleased that her blood is doing so good. We believe it is because of pray and that she is taking Mona Vie twice daily. I have suffered from very low iron in my blood and was prone to running out of energy around noon, now I can go until 11 or 12 at night. It has also kept my blood sugar normal, and has helped the arthritis. I only know what I know and have experienced. When the ones who have tried it and have noticed a change, that has to say something about the product. I offer a free bottle to the author of this article for him to try. Give me your address and I will ship it to you. email me at shirleyb42353@hotmail.com If anyone is ready to try the best product ever go to my website www.mymonavie.com/godsperfectjuice.com.

I did extensive research on the acai berry and than the companies that process the berry. Mona Vie is the only manufacture of the product that does not add additives to it. It is all natural, that is way it needs to be refrigerated after opened.

Also they give back to the the county inwhich they harvest the fruit. I noticed that the article didn't say athing about the good things that this company does.

So those who have had these miraculous recoveries, how long did it take to work? I've tried it for 6mos because those who swear by it, told me it would rid my chronic cough due to bronchitis so my doctor says and I do have chronic back pain and terrible carpal and tarsal tunnel and this miracle drink did not cure me. I do think it's got good stuff in there that's beneficial but just the same, we should all include fruits and beggies to our diet.

  • Posted By: ejriedman88 @ 08/06/2008 1:49:09 PM

I honestly think both of the comments below do not understand the point of Mona Vie. It isn't in anyway stated as a miricle drink or anything of the sorts. And you have to try it for more than TWO weeks to see the benifits. the least amount of time you should give it is a month. And most try it for three months before making their choice on whether they feel better. If you are complaining about the price of the juice think about this... for 4 ounces of juice a day is about 5.00. when you go to any fast food place for lunch or dinner and pay more than that for your meal! why would you complain if you are putting nasty food like that into your body. Mona vie never says it will help everyone. It says you have nothing to loose by trying it. And i suggest not bashing on this great drink until you know all the facts behind the product.

I lived in the Amazon Region of Brazil for 25 years where I grew up. Acai, is a common part of the diet of the people in the northern region of the country where it is consumed in its pure form without any dilutions or blends on a daily basis for hundreds of years. Honestly, these medicinal effects have yet to be proven. It this palm tree seed was so efficient in treating disease like allergies, diabetes, etc... Shouldn't this disease be almost non-existent over there? In fact, allergies and diabetes are a big problem of the population in that region. Until clinically proven, this is all about imaging and propaganda.

This is not different than deciding which skin care line to use...Avon or Mac??? They both do the same thing but one is much less expensive than the other. One might pay more for an ingredient or two that the other does not have. But bottom line is, it is like the Coke and Pepsi challenge. Yeah, you can taste a very small difference, but they are both soda!!! I am happy for those who "think" that Mona Vie is "curing" them or benefitting them in some miraculous way. Mind over matter, I suppose. But we have seen medicine men like this for centuries and as long as idiots keep buying it, others will continue to sell it. Fruit isn't cheap...you got that right!!!! So let's go buy our fruit, do a bit of exercise and save ourselves $40 a bottle...Oh yeah..and is it such a great idea to package it in a "wine" bottle when there are so many kids drinking this? What message are you sending them?

In this situation you truly do get what you pay for. Yes, you can buy it cheaper elsewhere but it nutritionally speaking you are wasting your money. Monavie has doctors and nutritional scientists heading up the company. They used their expertise to come up with the perfect nutritional beverage. The way MV processes the acai (freeze dried, uses all the fruit(skin, pulp, and juice) is unique solely to MV. The published scientific research of the ORAC value is based on Monavie not some other company. And Monavie uses 18 other superfruits that were chosen by health experts. Tell me if you can get that from Walgreens or Costco

My wife and I have been distributors since February. We're now Bronze executives and about to go Silver, making about $450 a week residually. Monavie has been a godsend for us. I've had chronic allergies since childhood and getting worse. For years now I haven't been able to walk through perfume departments at stores or go to people's homes with cats without my throat closing up.

That all changed since February. My allergies have completely disappeared, even in Spring when they should be the worst. This is just my personal story and its surely not the same for everyone, theres no miracle cures, all I know is that the only thing I've done differently is drink Monavie.

On the money side, our business grows every month, and we're having the times of our lives helping others get started. Monavie absolutely is a blast! We've made lifelong friends as we help others get going and we even have NFL players on our business team now, guys I never would have otherwise met!

The thing about this is that you get paid if others do well, that makes it a team effort where everyone helps each other. In fact, i know of people brought into Monavie that are making far more money than those that brought them in, its no scam, its all just what you put into it.

The life changing stories I've personally seen unfold are no joke. Monavie works exactly the same as if you were taking 14 servings of high quality fruit a day. That's it. As Americans we simply don't get enough fruit and vegetables. With Monavie, you're getting organic fruits, the most exotic and wild from around the world. Your body can't help but respond to that.

There are a lot of things naturally you can do to improve your health and Monavie is just one of them. But if you can easily improve your health just by drinking a super powerful fruit juice, and make a living while you're doing it, what in the world can be wrong with that?

Melissa and I are Monavie for life. It's totally changed our outlook on what's possible both financially and healthwise. We realize now that there's a whole world of healthy living out there and god willing, we'll continue to find it together and hopefully with you along for the wonderful ride as well.

NOT OVERPRICED. What are you comparing it to? An apple or an orange costs about $1. 4 oz. of MV is the equivilant of 10-13 whole fruits and costs app. $4. Are you eating the recommended 5-7 fruits a day? Organic and or wild? Most people aren't

I don't know much about MonaVie, but I do know about the antioxidant benefits of Acai. I take a Xocai, the healthy chocolate, which is unprocessed cocoa combined with acai berry. It's antioxidant levels super excede MonaVie because unprocessed cocoa is the highest level antioxidant food out there. All you naysayers, you're exactly right... it is about eating healthy and exercising. Prodcuts like Xocai and I'm assuming MonaVie bring you levels of antioxidants that your body needs. No one is telling you not to eat your fruits and veggies, you just couldn't eat enough to get all the nutrition your body requires now-a-days. I have seen and heard from many people about how Xocai has changed their lives. It's not all in your head. Your body is capable of healing itself if you're giving it the right nutrition. Acai is not snake oil. No, acai is not a cure all, neither is Xocai, but if you can consume something that makes you feel better and may possibly curb some of the diseases out there that mostly caused by poor nutrition and lack of antioxidants instead of taking the posion the fda prescribes, why wouldn't you? And the MLM aspect of it. What's so wrong with companies wanting to put the money into their customers hands? Instead of spending thousands to millions on advertising, they can pay their customers to talk about the product. That doesn't sound like a bad thing to me.

    • Posted By: chickenlady56 @ 08/06/2008 1:45:42 PM

i have been drinking Mona Vie for about a month and people here at work notice a big change in me and they too now want to drink Mona Vie. I became a distributor not to become rich but to be able to drink my juice for nothing. I so agree with jennd317.

Any "claims" being made by anyone is through either medical research or personal experience. The company does not make specific claims other than the juice being a potent anti-oxident which will be equivalent to consuming your daily dose of fruits and veggies. Not many people get these nutrients on a daily basis and to do so would be just as expensive. FYI: 3 apples and 2 bananas a day does not qualify. People think "it's fruit so it counts" and they are misinformed. An nutritionist can tell you that. Why not get you nutritional fill every day? Ofcourse you'll feel better, considering you've probably been eating poorly for years. I'm sure there are other products (juices, vitamins, etc) that will do you nutritional justice. I just don't understand what everyone's problem is. If people want to spend the money and drink it, why should anyone have anything negative to say. ESPECIALLY if you NEVER DRANK IT!!!!! I drink it because I was desperate for pain relief from RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis). The Pain meds weren't cuttin it. I heard about Mona Vie and gave it a shot. I decided to join so I could buy it myself for the cheapest possible price. (I HAVE NEVER SOLD A BOTTLE TO ANYONE ELSE NOR HAVE I SIGNED UP ANYONE UNDER ME!!!!) I started with a 2 month supply. I'm not even going to waste time writing all the things that happened one week after another. What I will say is that my blood shows no signs of RA AT ALL SINCE I STARTED DRINKING MONA VIE!!! I have the results on paper and my Rheumatologist said he's NEVER seen this happen before!!! So am I going to get sued now? Is that how the justice system works? Nobody's allowed to feel good without some doctor or drug company involved? Mona Vie never claimed this would happen IT JUST DID! Why don't you people find something that actually HURTS people to argue about! Get a life and lay off of Mona Vie already!

    • Posted By: gracie1220 @ 08/06/2008 1:44:06 PM

Thank you thank you!! Maybe we are all suckers for buying this stuff, but are we dying from it? No. Are those of us drinking it happy? Yes. Those who tried and didn't like it stopped buying it. I happened to go after a cheaper acai product. This writer acts like somehow he has just done an expose on a large industrial company polluting a small towns water source. We are happy Mona Vie and acai drinkers. Go save some starving children in Brazil for pete's sake.

Anecdotal Comment for Asthma: Within three months of drinking MonaVie, my asthma improved so dramatically that I was able to walk and do normal activities independently for the first time in years! (For years my son and my husband would split up the grocery list, while I waited in the coffee shop. My husband cleaned up and did laundry (folding and ironing too) for years. All this in sppite of being progressively loaded up on medication that wasn't even helping me have a normal life...just feeling a bit better being sedentary. The natural anti-inflammatory properties MonaVie has, along with the other antioxidant factors figuring in, worked on reducing the inflammation in my bronchials allowing for much, much improved breathing. So much so, that after I've been drinking MonaVie for two years now. After almost one year of consistent drinking MonaVie, I have reduced my medication to less than half, and now, almost two years of drinking it, I am my medication was reduced by one third. If this keeps going, I'll be off medication by the end of this year.
I have shared MonaVie with as many friends and people that I possibly could, and all of them have their own personal story....avoided knee surgery, disappearance of "depression" and "down moods", urticaria subsiding and disappearing, ulcer calming, improved energy concentration for their school-aged children, and on and on.
Writers should tread very, very carefully, especially ones from high-profile and respected magazines such as NEWSWEEK, as to the slant they convey on a product and their marketing of that product. MonaVie is the best - I've tried others and no camparison, and it's marketing plan is an excellent one. The particular slant of this writer, conveys the message of pyramidal hype - which is totallly erroneous, however, pushes the buttons of doubt preying on people's disdain for anything remotely reminiscent of the maligned old "pyramid" model, permeating the uncosncious reading mind of the general public reader with regards to not only the juice, but the compoany's wealth-building system one can engage in if they so wish. This further instills inthe reqader that money-wealth is not healthy, and cannot be holisitc. Therefore, those readers who are not in tune with these tactics will automatically have adopted a doubt and revile the very thing that may help their health.
This is the damage that Tony Dokoupil of NEWSWEEK can cause - without he himself trying out the product for at least 90-120 days. I am surprised that the NEWSWEEK editor allowed for such a slant to be printed, rather than promote a neutrally open position, simply because it may just be the very thing that would encourage someone to honestly try MonaVie, and actually even "saving" their life. If the reporter ate broccoli twice a day every day for two weeks would he have felt something? Probably not. The reporter would know broccoli is good for his body and would eat broccoli anyway. Monavie is 19 wild/organic fruits in a bottle. Most people don't eat the fruit the experts are recommending. People are seeing results with Monaviebecause people are giving their bodies the nutrition they need in a convenient affordable delivery system. Also in most companies or life in general, a few of the people make most of the money, that's because a few of the people work harder than most of the people.

that's nice witch you do that. and PS it's not a pyramid because someone below anyone above them can make way more than those above. so yeah not a pyramid. thanks. :)

For myself I've been drinking Mona Vie for 3 months now. After the first month my allergies were gone along with knee pain and sleeping better.
I think the antioxidants that your body is receeiving from the juice is flushing the free radicals that build up in our bodies. I figure less free radicals the less doctor visits for me.
It works for myself and wife.

There probably is too much hype with this drink...but not with the fruit. It's definetly not to cure someone because it can't substitute medicine. I come from Brazil and I've known about açaí for a little bit longer than the whole monavie thing. Science proves that there are many benefits and I drink the juice from pulp that I buy at a supermarket. It's just healthier. When you're healthy overall, your body functions better.

Haha, a pyramid? Isn't corporate America the biggest pyramid of them all??? This is a company that wants people to succeed. The one's who fail have only themselves to blame. Don't knock it unless you researched it. Acai IS in everything now, but MonaVie has a patent on the process of harvesting the berry. Independent studies confirm that their juice is more powerful than any other acai juice on the market. And don't forget about the other 18 fruits! I've been in corporate America for over 15 years and would have never thought about joining an mlm in a million years until MonaVie worked for me and my family. I am now "retiring" from corporate American and will be telling everyone I know about MonaVie. I won't bore you with the details and you have to see for yourself anyway, but do so with an open mind. This dude obviously went in with an agenda to bash something he wasn't familiar with. Also I don't see a problem with people earning even an extra few hundred bucks a week. Do you? Good luck to everyone, but don't bash something until you've done your own unbiased research. Long live MonaVie!

    What's the cheaper brand?

  • Posted By: Science of UNL @ 08/06/2008 1:01:37 PM

i used to get this stuff all the time, it helped me sleep through the night, look at the individual ingredients and you'll find that there is indeed a large multitude of the best known super fruits out there. Each serving a particular purpose. I stopped drinking it due to cost. Listening to those that sell and distribute the product may be full of it. However, look at the science behind the drink, maybe then ignorance will stop coming to play in this discussion. It's simple antioxidant levels that make this drink do the things it does. I'll agree that it isnt a cure for cancer, though in the long run this is what id say the best source of antioxidants in use today.

There is an acai juice made by zola that I now take instead of mona vie. It seems to work just as well. You can also buy frozen acai berries at some health food stores, or you can buy it in powder or supplement form. Mona Vie may have a monopoly on the berry at the moment, and I do like their product, but if you really can't afford it there are other options available.

mona vie is yet another way to part you from your money. It is no better than any other good fruit juice like pomegranite, blueberry, peach, grape etc. It, like so many others that have come and gone are based on peoples limited knowledge of real health, peoples fear of aging or getting sick. It is perpetrated on the elderly for the most part who are feeling the effects of aging and hope for an easy solution. Get out for a walk daily, eat more good quality food, keep your mind and body active, eliminate all destructive bad habits and you will benrfit far more than from this over hyped, over priced fruit juice with all the false claims being attributed to it by greedy promoters.

    • Posted By: gracie1220 @ 08/06/2008 1:37:36 PM

You are right, Mona Vie should not be treated as an easy way out. It should be used along with a good diet and healthful activity. However, just because some idiot somewhere says it's a cure and it isn't doesn't mean it doesn't have great benefits. I drink it, and I certainly have seen a radical difference. I actually switched to a cheaper brand, the benefits are the same. So Mona vie may not be the answer, the berry may not be a cure all, buyt why, America, does it have to be one or the other? Why can't we acknowledge that all natural food has some benefit?

    • Posted By: Hanfrank @ 08/06/2008 1:12:36 PM

Take the time to research Monavie before you make very ignorant comparative statements. You will find that there is no other product comparable to Monavie and that Monavie promotes a healthy lifestyle. The amount of research that was spent on developing this product is the reason for the expense. Do you want the best or you willing to bet your health on the cheap stuff in the stores that are mostly sugar water with a little juice added. Know your subject before you make comments that are just opinions.
