I have heard great reviews and others who said they had no results. I truly wanted to try the product, but on a senior income, I cannot afford it. It is too bad they have not made it more affordable so that more could try it.

Just wanted to reiterate the fact that one can purchase acai at many health food stores for FAR less than the product mentioned in the article & you will know exactly how much acai you are getting! I bought 60 capsules for around $7.00 & it works just fine.

It is available at G N C for about 30.00 a bottle. At one ounce a day that is one month!

Don't most of these mlm's start in Utah? Ah yes a captive audience that has been taught over the years not to quesion, just follow! The SEC has always been busy in Utah, why not the FDA?

Acai doesn't have to be expensive! I went to my local health food store & bought capsulated acai - 60 capsules for around $7.00. It worked just fine!

I drank the juice for about four months and I can honestly say that it did nothing. At nearly $40 a bottle and $140 a case (I think thats what it was), I expect an instant benefit. As you all can see, I did give it a chance over four months. Given the economy, there are much better things I can waste my $140 a month on than buying some fantasy juice that did nothing for me. I will admit that others I know stated that it did give them more energy and they felt better. Maybe it is a body chemistry thing, because it did nothing for me except make me lighter in the wallet.

    Good luck.

My wife purchased 2 bottles from a freind of hers. After the 1st bottle she stop taking this wonder drink. The only thing it did for her was keep her in the bathroom all day. Just like all the other products that make you feel better or loose weight. Eat right with a little exercise and you will feel better and loose some weight.

How did Mr. DoKoupil do his research for the article? He didn't even drink the juice himself. That's interesting. Did he speak to people that are actually drinking the juice? A lot of those people don't preach about the money, Mr. DoKoupil, you may want to do a little more research and talk to a few more people out there besides the people on the internet.

I am amazed on how defensive the reps involved in MonaVie Pyramid Scheme are lashing out on a very informative post by Newsweek. Be careful about the Monavie juice product. Why? First, marketing experts are calling Monavie and its company a "legalized scam." FTC explanation on a binary plan or ??? SPLIT PYRAMIDS ??? ----> http://www.ftc.gov/os/comments/businessopprule/522418-12585.pdf It???s a new form of compensation being developed by a never-ending supply of MLM schemers. The FTC rule states "a LEGAL CUSTOMER does not belong to the pay plan" and if the customer and distributor are the same people, an illegal pyramid scheme is formed. The FTC has a 70% retail rule for Multi Level Marketing Plans, Monavie's distributors are violating this and the whole thing will come to a screeching halt and hundreds of thousands of the distributors will be left out in the cold, disillusioned about Home Based businesses. DON'T TAKE MY WORD FOR IT! Read the FTC website on Binary comp plans ??? SPLIT PYRAMIDS ???. Monavie is next on the hit list. FDA is also cracking down on this company. Lots of warning signs.

Some companies have stupidly said that everybody that signs up is a customer and then a week later converted them on paper to a distributor! Regulators have eaten them alive when that showed up! Monavie doesn't promote having customers, they even have top awards for recruiting and none for "customer acquisition"
They are doomed because of a pyramid scheme as defined by the FTC. The bottom line is the Distributor must prove they had 70% retail sales, Not Monavie Corporate.

Not everyone drinking Mona Vie is looking to make money. Some of us choose to drink for the benefits and are not looking to make the millions. I know I feel great as do the people around me drinking it. I've never had more energy, my skin has never looked better and my back doesn't hurt anymore. Is there anything wrong with that. I've been to countless orthopedic doctors and back specialists, none of which made my problems any better, just handed me pills. This wholistic approach allows me to feel better and is better for me.

The cosmetic industry makes all kinds of claims that don't pan out and I've spent tons and tons on those products. No one is jumping down their backs. I say people make their own minds up and give the juice a try for a little while.

There are many fruits in this product that are expensive, difficult to obtain since they come from different parts of the world. They contain nutrition that we could not get otherwise, how can this be a bad thing.

The only negative about this product is that it is set up as a MLM, the product itself is extroardinary. I have chosen to pass on my daily Starbucks at 5$ a pop and drink this instead.

I say to you do a little research on the product itself and it's components and don't listen to the MLM comments.

You MonaVie reps are showing how much of a scam your company is. Look how brainwashed you reps are by trying to defend a scam spouting off the samething all MLM reps spout off about the industry. You???re the only ones saying anything positive about the juice because of your involvement. Your like a bunch of kinds in a candy dish on Newsweek website. What about the business? Do you know how much trouble MonaVie is in right now? Of course not, your new and blinded. You all are repeating the same thing about MonaVie. It doesn???t matter how effective your juice product may be. It is not about if the product is FDA approved or not. It is about the integrity of the company and the representatives in the company. Don???t you think by now that we all know you can???t FDA approve a juice, seriously, are you all just now learning that yourself. What can happened to MonaVie is that the FDA can step in and shut it down because you reps are making unethical health claims of mitigating diseases on any website that talks about MonaVie. Very Deceptive. Just look at you fools, spamming like a bunch of wild program bots with your websites, emails and phone numbers. Who would follow such uninformed representatives? Everyone involved in MonaVie sets a bad example for your company. Your company already has a enough problems with the FDA warnings and FTC investigations on SPLIT PYRAMIDS. MonaVie is responsible for your actions and your responsible for your own actions. What you say and do can get you canned from your own business. That right there does not sound like a independent business owner, sounds more like an employee to the big kahuna at the top of a pyramid scheme!

The same old saying is the best anyone can learn by ???An apple a day keeps the doctor away.??? ???Vitamin C kills cancer cells.??? If you eat healthy, exercise regularly and sleep regularly, you would be amazed at the changes in your health compared to you sitting at your PC eating a bag of Doritos and drinking a 44 ounce of pop spouting off that Monavie is the best thing since sliced bread. MonaVie is a scam, it???s overpriced and it tastes like crap! Educate yourself!
It is Funny MonaVie can never explain how much of the magical acai berry is in the juice, therefore, what are you REALLY paying for?

In fairness to MV, ANY Network Marketing company has a TON of wannabes who think the business is just going to fall in their lap. They join, buy some product then wait for their upline to build their business. Surprise, surprise it's netWORKING! So it shouldn't surprise people that there is such a huge "Wholesale" base not making any commission. For a better product/commission plan go to www.MyChaga. com/susan

A tasteful and convenient way to get antioxidant equivalent of 13 servings of fruit and veggies. Be real, when is the last time you've treated your body to what it craves? Have the courage to do what others are unwilling to do so that you can enjoy what others are uncapable of experiencing. www.mymonavie.com/retireerly

I am a new distributor of Mona Vie. My wife and I were asked to participate in a regional training event at the corporate offices of Mona Vie. It was an awesome experience and I am very glad we went to it. We were just as skeptical as most other people when discussing network marketing companies. I was even more so. I have been in the medical device industry for nine years; prior to that I was in the blood banking industry for 15 years. My experience in my daily job led me to be extra cautious about Mona Vie. However, I am a believer because I tried the product and took my time and did my due diligence. I visited the corporate offices, met some of the founders and even met the manager of the Regulatory Oversight department. I highly recommend this experience. There is an upcoming event if you want to go with me ??? please email me below.
We were all told the truth that your experience is yours and yours to share - THEY WARNED us against making false claims. The FDA warning letter is because of a single distributor that is rogue and not following company rules. I have worked in an FDA regulated environment for more than 23 years. I have managed multiple FDA inspections of facilities that I was responsible for. I am intelligent enough to recognize a scam when I see it. With Mona Vie, I am a believer ??? that is why my mother and my mother-in-law are both taking this product. Yes, it caused them to go to the bathroom more often initially, but now my mother is doing well and has good energy and sleeps through the night. Her arthritis does not act up as much as it did before. She has been on it for two weeks. My mother-in-law had similar issues with the bathroom, but her diet rarely consisted of any fruit and finally, she became regulated ??? without having to take stool softeners. Other results, I???m sure are forthcoming.
If you want to discuss this intelligently - please email me at best4us@xmission.com. I am happy to discuss this and review the facts that I have investigated since I started with Mona Vie three weeks ago.
    Thanks for thinking about it.
    Tracy

I almost got taken in by the MonaVie wave. I'm sure it's a great way to make money for some and if people believe it works for their health, so be it. Personally, I don't have the medical or nutritional background to sell this type of product or any other. Not MonaVie, not Noni Juice, not vitamins by MaryKay or any other product. I am not sure of many of the people who get involved with these companies do. Even when I buy vitamins, I read and do research and ask the pharmacist about the product. Frankly, like one reader said, take care of yourself, work hard, and be wise with your money. Also, save a fortune by putting down those cigarettes, sugar, alcohol and fried foods.

Such negativity coming from a reporter that hasn't even tried the product for any length of time. MonaVie like other nutritious super juice health beverages provide us with what we lack in our normal diet. The fast food obesity epidemic is the crime www.foodmatters.tv is a must watch to understand what our fast food society is doing to us and this is legal?

Like other learned folks in the posts below, I am flabbergasted that a supposedly respected ???news??? magazine would allow one biased journalist???s opinions to be passed off as factual reporting. I actually was gifted a subscription by redeeming some flyer miles, so it cost me nothing. But this publication is worth that and my time is precious. Therefore I will notify you, under separate cover, to cancel my subscription.

The juice is a scam. The marketing concept is a scam. My husband, his mother and brother jumped on the banwagon in 2006. They started promoting it every which way to Sunday. They swear by the drink. They have endless hours promoting and giving this stuff away. None of them had made any money except enough to cover the stuff they use. They all continue to drink it and try to recruit people, they even attend the national meetings. My mother in law wasnt working and did this full time and did not make any money. Remember the old saying a apple a day keeps the doctor away. Eating (and drinking) fruits are healthly but spending $40.00 a bottle is a waste of money. People please stop trying to get rich quick and get healthly quick. Work hard, eat right, exercise, and love yourself and your family ( no matter what crazy thing they do). You will feel better physically, emotionally and spiritally ( no FDA rules on making this claim)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been involved with Monavie for 7 months as a distributor and I've created an income of $7,000 per month, every person that is in our organization loves the product. Just like in any business the 90/10 rule applies here and Monavie publishes that on their income disclosure form. How is that a scam when the company shows you that you have a 10% chance of making a business out of Monavie. Monavie for Life!!
